The game is incredibly slow
After installing the Enchanted Garden expansion pack the game became incredibly slow and unplayable, even when lowering the resolution. I've tried uninstalling Enchanted by nature thinking that it was to much for my computer, nothing happened. I've also tried repairing, clearing chache on both the game and the EA app as well as lowering the resolution even further, nothing has helped. The game is both slow and buggy and becomes unplayable. This applies to both zooming in/out, moving the camera as well as when I click on something the interactions menu appears several seconds later.
Game refusing to run no matter what I do
I just bought the newest expansion yesterday and attempted to boot up my game only to be in a loading screen for almost an hour after pressing resume game. I then made sure any mods I used in the past (which haven't been active in months, since before lovestruck) were deleted just in case and the game still wouldn't load. After that I backed all my files and uninstalled and reinstalled my game and placed my backups in and then the game refused to even launch. So I decided to repair the files in hopes I messed something up but even after repairing the files and making sure I did the right steps in making sure the backups were correct the game still refused to launch. Currently I have saved my backups once again and uninstalling and reinstalling to try and launch the game without the backups in case its my game files. But If this doesn't work I am unsure what to do. It seems no one else seems to be having this issue but before installing the expansion pack my game worked just fine like a week or two ago when I was playing and now I can't even open my sims...I really don't want to lose all my progress in the sims but I am stumped on what to do to resolve this issue besides potentially having to lose my legacy save.
Endless loading screen
After all the updates and Enchanted by Nature pack, I can´t play. I can get past CAS, but when I select and home and press play, the loading screen just keeps on going forever. I have mods, and all are updated, and I also tried removing all of them, but the loading screen still keeps on going. I have tried to delete all the games, reset my computer completely, cleared cache both in the Sims files in my folders and on the EA app. I have tried to download all the games except Enchanted by Nature, but it still does the exact same thing. I have tried Google, discord, reddit etc., and no one seems to have the answer. And again, it does not matter with the mods, because even when I remove ALL of my mods, it does the same thing. Nothing changes. Anyone who knows something that can help? I can´t play at all... I use pc computer btw. - Astrid
Stuck on loading
I'm getting this as well, won't load any family in any world and refuses to load any lots in Innisgreen. I've removed and tested without mods, still have the same issue Edit by crinrict Split from another post I created a new sim after downloading enchanted by nature. Selected the lot to move to then the game got stuck on the load screen.
Stuck on Loading Screen
Is anyone else having issues with trying to play the new pack and it gets stuck on the loading screen? I also noticed that when I try to repair my game, it says that the repair is paused because I don't own the game. Except I did in fact pre-order the pack and now it's giving me issues. Hello, I cannot go onto lots, I was trying to go into willow creek or newcrest lots but when I load into the lot it will not fully load it just kicks me back to the residents worlds. I’ve repaired my game, what else should I do? I have maybe a few gallery lots cc idk what else it could be.
Infinite loading screen/stuck loading
I’m on Xbox…..I keep having this bug with infinite loading screens never being completed. This is from a 1 minute screen recording of no loading progress. I was trying to load into a brindleton bay lot. Really frustrated with this one cause I have no choice but to force quit and restart my game. This happens at least once every time I try to play.

Game version: 1.116.202.1030 Better Exceptions: v3.13 Platform: Linux (CachyOS) using Bottles (Wine) All other mods removed. Only Better Exceptions is active. Still crashing consistently. I've run into multiple crashes, after exiting CAS, travel (especially from career lots), randomly, etc. I keep getting this error: TypeError: handle_event() missing 1 required positional argument: 'resolver' This error repeats during: event_manager_service.py > process_event() Triggered via components like: buff_component.py environment_score_mixin.py sentiment_track_tracker.py commodity.py Where it breaks: Triggers seem to include proximity, sentiment updates, environment score, and buff changes. Occurs in standard gameplay and no custom content. File "sims4/utils.py", line 256, in __call__ → handle_event() is called without `resolver` Steps to Reproduce: Remove all mods except Better Exceptions Open save Play for ~5–30 seconds Repeated desync exceptions occur with the above traceback Note: Based on traceback, it looks like a core game or mod injector override is calling a test event without supplying the required argument (resolver).
