[DO] Can't request table in restaurant on a date/hangout
Hello! When playing the sims 4 I have asked other sims on a date or to hang out then travel to a restaurant. When requesting a table to be seated, nothing happens. The game doesn't proceed to the next action for the couple/friends to be seated. I have repaired and updated the game, but still no solution. I have noticed that when my sim is alone and requests a table to sit and dine, they are able to do so. It only happens during an event like asking on a date or hang out. [LS] LE/Reset when trying to do romantic interactions
Play on PC. I purchased Lovestruck and the game updated. I haven’t played since before the update. When I played today, the woohoo and try for baby interaction is there on the sims and bed, but when you click on it the sims glitch and nothing happens. Unable to try for baby. Very disappointed that I can’t play anymore because of it. How am I supposed to continue my legacy family without being able to try for baby? Please fix this bug. Since the lovestruck update my sims keep dancing instead of doing any social interaction. They just freeze with other tasks. Except going to the toilet, they just sit there and then freeze. I tried factory resetting, removed all mods, reinstalling the game, with packs, without packs, no mods, with mods; the bug still persists. Build buy mode is normal so far but the game has become completely unplayable because i can't do anything with my sims. I've been through the threads/reddit/EA customer support and believe I have to give up on attempting to solve the issue. I have one save file that crashes on the loading screen, without fail. It was working just fine the day before and I saved and closed as normal. Today, it is not possible to open this save file anymore. There is no CC or mods used. I have since redownloaded the Sims 3, emptied the cache, opened the game with the lowest graphics settings in windowed mode -- nada. I'm playing on a Mac, OS up to date. It didn't work in 'safe mode' either. EA customer support suggested I post here to document that the issue could not be resolved. If anyone out there knows of some magical way of retrieving the lot I was building, I'm all ears. I logged quite some (read: much too many) hours on this home renovation before the issues started and I would be over the moon to see it again.
Overlapping festivals
The festivals from City Living keep stacking on top of one another instead of despawning. My SIM lives in 19 Culpepper House and I play on an Xbox One. I do not use any CC or mods as I am a console player I first noticed this bug yesterday 20/8/24 but it has escalated today, I tried going into manage worlds and back, visiting different lots and festival locations, and restarting the game. [S] Sims dying from overheating in chilly weather
I’ve purchased the Life and Death pack, started to play with one of my sims and all of a sudden, while she was in Ravenwood nightclub, she died from overheating. That was strange because the temperature in that world is always chilly. But she’s a witch and I thought it was because she had used to much powers, so I didn’t bother too much. But yesterday I transferred her sister in the household to play with her as well. She’s only human btw. They were at a party on the river shore and once again, all of a sudden, without notice, I get the notification that she’s overheating. I try to get her in the water (even tho it was raining and again it was chilly) but she was already dying. This time there was no reason at all for her to die like this and since I never had a sim dying from overheating before I got the new Pack, I guess it may be related. Tarot Card Issue
I'm trying to complete the Tarot Card collection and have gotten all of them except for the Strength card which you get by delivering Ghost Essence to the Ghost Host Order Member. My Sim is a ghost and has had no problems getting the Essence but when I try to deliver them, the option isn't available. Instead I keep seeing "Offer to Help with Favor" which shows the exact thing I am missing. Is this a glitch or just a problem because I'm already playing with a ghost sim instead of making a sim go into the bog?
[LD] Can't ask Freddy about Alice Sorrow
I am trying to complete Alice's Sorrow Quest. I have to talk with Freddy, which is one of her kids but I can't select the "Ask about Alice’s Sorrow" option. It's not active on Freddy, so I can't continue the task. Edit By Crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title
