Can't move into furnished homes
Mac, last official update, no modes After all adult sims in a household died of old age, their child was moved to the "Not in world" household. When I merged the child with an adult sim and tried to move them bakc into the same house, the "Furnished" option was greyed out. The house appears to be unoccupied, but lights and fireplace are still lives there - the lot is visually still in a ''live" state. Also the price of the house on the map is much lower than it would be in a furnished state. Sims can't go up the stairs
I just finished building a house that took me hours and hours to build. Now, while playtesting the game, my Sims couldn't walk up the stairs. This issue is just on this build; the way the stairs are is also not anything different. I have builds with similar stairs, and those work without an issue. Just for this one build, it won't work. What's weird is that my sim has no problem getting off a 4x raised platform...but when there's stairs attached to the platform, they can't use it. Is this happening to anyone else? I tried everything, practically dismantled the whole build, but it does not work at all. I tried a few YouTube videos, even restarted the game, but it still won't work. What should I do?
Photos/Paintings turning black/blank (1.102.190/1.82)
My pictures are black after I load back into my game on console. There is NO way to recover them other than loading a backup. Even if Maxis fixes the bug that they disappear you will not have them back as the information is just not there anymore. They should stay save that way although there are also mixed reports for those After you took pictures you really care about, save your game. To me it looks like that the pictures aren't properly saved to your game if you click save & Exit. Click save first, then exit without saving.
[LS] Sims cancel romantic interactions (Woohoo/TFB/Break Up/..)
Play on PC. I purchased Lovestruck and the game updated. I haven’t played since before the update. When I played today, the woohoo and try for baby interaction is there on the sims and bed, but when you click on it the sims glitch and nothing happens. Unable to try for baby. Very disappointed that I can’t play anymore because of it. How am I supposed to continue my legacy family without being able to try for baby? Please fix this bug. Error Code 105
This only started happening a couple of days ago, and searching the reported bugs has shown me nothing. When I go online within the gallery within The Sims 4 and try to see everything others have uploaded, I get a message saying I'm offline and need to connect. To which I click connect and go online. However, once I've done this, the game freezes and then the EA launcher starts flashing with the following error (see attachments). My game stays on but runs very slow and won't show anything other than what I have saved to my gallery. This happens no matter if I go to the gallery via build & buy or if I just go to the gallery via the start up screen. This has never happened before so I'm unsure how to fix it.
Controls Displayed on Screen
Just updated the sims 4 on my pc/laptop and now it’s displaying the controls on the left side. I have not messed with any settings at all, I even double checked to make sure I didn’t accidentally change anything and everything is still the same settings I’ve had. I tried repairing the game, removing mods/turning off mods and it still shows up. I googled to see if I maybe I did turn on some accessibility setting and nothing shows up for me to enable/disable in my own game settings. Just kind of bothered by it cause it quite literally is on my screen blocking my game. Oh and it disappears when I open the options menu and appears again when I resume my gameplay.
