About This Thread This thread tracks Sims 4 mods and CC that have been "broken" or made obsolete by game update 1.122, March 17, 2026, and the March 18 hotfix, or declared unsupported by their creators. It also tracks updated game mods, important updates to custom content, general news from/about creators, and new bugfix mods. -------------------------------------- FAILED TO LAUNCH ERROR: "Failed to Launch" message plain black screen on launch (no words) sometimes you can launch but are missing CC in CAS EA has identified the cause and is testing a fix this weekend, aiming to release that early in the week. Because the player-side fix is time-consuming and might not work for all players, I recommend just waiting for it. If you do want to try to get your game going with CC this weekend, you can try these steps: (1) Rename the user folder. (2) Start the game and exit. (3) Manually create new subfolders in your Mods folder and copy only files, not folders, into them. This is NOT caused by broken CC. Packs showing as deactivated in-game/Not active after purchase
I downloaded the For Rent pack and in my game files it says the pack is there but in CAS and in build mode etc it says I don't own it, I have repaired sims and the EA app but the issue is still not fixed. Thanks Edit By crinrict: Adjusted Title Note by crinrict Workaround Make sure the game is closed Create a backup of your user folder Move the following file to the desktop: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > userSettings(.ini) Start the game again and check if the pack no appears. Start your save and check if everything else is in order Delete the file you moved to the desktop and enjoy the new pack. Be aware that this will reset all your disabled packs so if you have any disabled, you can also enable/disable packs in Marketplace > My Collection > Pack Selection
sims 3 game launcher not working mac os tahoe 26.1
Hello, ive seen alot of discussion on the launcher having a system failure when downloading .sims3pack cc. so i deleted all of them. But, I have tried downloading packages as normal and it still hasn'[t worked! I have redone the framework for a new mods folder and yata yata, but still nothing. Deleted everything from the cache, and deleted my sims 3 folder and started over. Is there any solution? i have scrolled through reddit for hours but nothing has worked.
[HSY] Admired Icon: 250+ followers on Social Bunny not achieving
I am working through the Teen aspirations. I am currently trying to get through the last phase of the admired icon aspiration - Have 250 followers on Social. Bunny. I had less than 150 when I reached this level of the aspiration. I now have 350. The milestone hasn't crossed off. On a Mac. Never mods/cc. When you go to download lots from the gallery, they no longer show the packs/items from those packs that are used in the build. Lots do still have an icon if they "have content you do not own" but you can't see what that content possibly is. Edit By crinrict: Added Tag to Title, Adjusted Title
Time/Sim freezes while environment still moves
There is currently an issue in MCCC that is causing a freezing like this if you have auto-marriages turned on. If you encounter this is with ANY mods in your game, then this is not your thread. Please head over to the The Sims 4 Mods & Custom Content forum and post there for help or ask at the MCCC Discord. This is a very specific bug symptom so please only post here if you see all of the below in your game. There are many similar issues, so this should be kept to this issue only. This can either be an extreme lag or a total freeze. Symptoms in the game Time stand still although there can be a delay where time moves for a but when part of UI is frozen You can't click on anything Sims move but do interactions endlessly Environment moves If you have multiple household members, you can't switch between them. Going to the map in this state can lead to endless loading You can still switch to build mode but only delete one item. Not all households are affected. Unsure what causes it. Unsure/More info needed It start happening at a specific time Computer starts to use up a lot of the resources Not this issue Sims don't respond to commands, standing around doing nothing
Launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3
Game launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3, maybe someone has ideas how to fix this problem. I play in Mac. I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled but unfortunately it didn't help. I bought a new world - Roaring Heights Gold Edition but I can't download it in my game when launcher crashes.Houses/Lots Disappear
Issue The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots. This issue has been around since the very beginning so it’s not tied to any packs. This issue possibly has a lot of different causes and hence is hard to pinpoint. There more info you have, the better. Information to provide Your platform Mod usage (Never, Removed, Yes) This is important info, not mod blaming. [MAC] Makeup sliders don't work when sliding to the left
This bug is listed in the Archived Bug Reports as [Open], but I'm confused why it's not in the new Bug Reports area if it's still considered open, so I apologize if I'm in the wrong for reporting this. This change over is really confusing to me. On Mac (latest OS on a 2023 Macbook Pro M3 Pro Chip) makeup and skintone sliders are still not working correctly after the newest patch. They only work when sliding to the right except for the Opacity slider on makeup which works both left and right. It has been that way since I switched over to Mac in April 2024. I was hoping with the new tattoo sliders, the makeup sliders would be fixed finally for Mac, but they aren't. This was originally reported two years ago. I really wish it could get some attention.
