Matching Moments - multiple issues
To get the necessary information out of the way - my screen name is Shilfiell, my OS in Mac OS Sonoma, my browser is Firefox. Matching moments is a great game, frustratingly challenging at times - but the following glitches make it less enjoyable: "Lives Remaining" timer routinely sticks at 12:34 remaining. As a result, one rarely knows accurately exactly how many lives one has, or how long till a new life appears. When the "Unlimited Lives" booster is activated, occasionally clicking the Play button sends a "You have unlimited lives for a limited time!" pop-up then returns to the start screen (the one with the Play button) of the game. Endless loop. Only workaround is to quit the game and re-enter....which waste valuable Extra Lives time. The Daily Free Gift does not appear in the Shop. No idea when the gift renews each day, times seem variable. As this is our only feasible means of getting any power-ups, timing would be great to know. Objects in cells occasionally overlay two images at once. Static boosters (Bow, Boxing Glove, Hammer) received through daily (?) Free Gifts do not appear in inventory as expected. Alternatively, sometimes boosters just show up out of nowhere. When first released, this game had a Season to work through. This initial Season play provided many of the objects I've used to go through the ranks, but now there's no mechanism for free anything except the daily (?) gift. In addition to the technical glitches, there are several areas for improvement with this game. Bring back seasons, open additional tabs (akin to the Chores tab in Solitaire Home Story) for a chance to work towards free boosters, and additional earned boosters like Undo or Extra Moves would enhance gameplay. Having to spend 900 coins for a single extra move pack is outrageously expensive (game-virtual-currency-wise) and that cost should be lowered - while also boosting the income from game wins, as it takes a very long time to accumulate coins currently. Might want to add a few booster-generating events that aren't dependent on consecutive wins, as well: most levels I play require repeated attempts to pin down the right gameplay patterns.
Photos/Paintings turn Black/white (Patch 1.120.140/2.26)
When loading into my game from my last save from last night (January 12), all my photos across the save are there. Now when I try to save today after the update, upon logging back into the game all the photos have turned black! I had to load back to the previous save from last night to get my photos back. But now I can no longer play/ save the game!! The photo system is completely broken. I don't know what code they put into this new update, but I cannot play anymore without the pictures turning black after saving. Please help fix it, I don't know what else to do other than ask for help. I tried making a new save, but photos still turn black. I've no mods/cc installed. The update today mentioned "fixes" with photo system items like graduation photos, celebrity photos, memorial photos, but I have a feeling somewhere within that coding something has gone wrong for existing photos. EDIT: Paintings are affected too. They turn white. Since black photos are a symptom of a bug and not a bug itself, the issue can have many causes and each needs to be fixed separately. The only safe thing you can do is keep backups of your save game and/or upload rooms with your photos to your library or gallery. This is true for the upcoming patch when they fix another instance. Do not throw your backups away. Keep them safe. [GTW] [CD] Household funds not transferring to retail/vet
I'm having an issue where household fund can no longer be transferred to a retail lot. The only issue I've been able to find online when this happens is if you are a renter, but I have this sim living on a regular residential, and they have not ever been a renter. Tooltip and growth chart keeps disappearing from plants
When I hover over garden plants I have planted the name of the plant or the evolution bar does not show up. I noticed this today after the new patch 1.114.46.1030 DX11 I have also tried sheltered and unsheltered plants it doesn’t show anything above the plant. I do have mods but very little like ui faster skills and custom default skin by pralinesims I have updated all mods and started a new game I have all packs and all kits everything I have tried has not fixed it Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title to fit old report.[BDK] Upgraded Vacuums Don’t Work Off The Grid
Vacuums (at least, The Dusty Chaperone Upright Vacuum by Suckup Industries) with the Self-Charging Power Cell upgrade (which is supposed to allow the vacuum to function off the grid) don't work off the grid. If you click on the vacuum, either in the world or in your inventory, Vacuum Around is not greyed out, but nothing happens. If you click on the floor with the vacuum in your inventory or in the world, Vacuum Lightly is greyed out because "power doesn't work off the grid." If an infant has enough milestones, and a toddler starts skills at level 1 instead of level 0 because of this, then the milestones associated with reaching the skill cap do not work. Skill 5 is considered a skill 4 in the game. Edit by puzzlezaddict: Adjusted title, added tag to title
