Create a Club 2.0
I am a career mode person, and in my opinion the mode that needs to most help is create a club. This is a blank canvas. I believe that some of these ideas could make Fc the best football game in the world. Sponsors Sponsors play a large role in team. If you have a large sponsor they could lend you large sums of money, or a small local brand could give you a couple thousands. This allows for a more realistic approach. In terms of brands, You could have real brands like Spotify or State Farm, or fake brands like in F1 25 like Seren or Duotone. They could help make the mode "real" with them enforcing ambition's for money, forcing the player to continue normally or follow the Brands demand. 2. Jersey designs This would be amazing, having kits with sharp shapes or faint lettering could reflect the culture of the club or the connection between fans and the team. Similar to Arsenal with the faint A all across the jersey. 3. Creating Badges Currently we have vanilla badges, badges that have no soul to them. having the player create a badge allows for the team to feel different, and unique compared to others. Giving the team a identity. I believe that these are the ideas that could help make the game better.2Views0likes0Comments[CMS Story] AFC AJAX Ambitious Again!
It's time for a new Career Mode Story. As per tradition, mine is with my favourite team, my home town club: AFC Ajax from Amsterdam. In real life, Ajax was starting to fall apart at the organizational level, which is why the team are about to be taken over by the late clubicon Johan Cruijff's son (Jordi Cruijff is to become Director in Fabruary 2026), which most likely will see a change of culture at the club. At Ajax, the penduline always swings between so-called Cruijffistas (the football purists and idealists) and the Louistas (who follow a more militaristic, organizational and disciplinary approach like Louis van Gaal). Only a few can remain neutral and please both camps at the same time: Frank de Boer and Ronald Koeman are good examples of that. So, in this fictional reality we are trying to justify the decisions made by the leadership at the club and prevent this takeover ever from happening..., with yours truly as head coach. At the start of this story, Daniel Marzec (me, but with my mother's surname) is a 43 year old half-Dutch, half-Polish football coach. I am an Ajax-adept through and through and 4-3-3 attacking wing play is almost like a religion to me. How did it come to this? In 2023, the new technical director Sven Mislintat (successor to Marc Overmars who achieved big successes together with manager Erik ten Hag) splashed too much cash for a dozen players that were not worthy of the level that Ajax aspired: the Amsterdam club nosedived into a huge sportive and organizational crisis. Head coach, leadership and Mislintat disappeard before the end of that year. Money ran dry, only a fifth place in the league, so no Champions League. Ajax were bankrupt with no money getting back into the bank. The generation of the successful 1990's took over as interim-leadership in late 2023: Michael van Praag (Ajax chairman 1989-2003), Louis van Gaal (Ajax head coach 1991-1997, technical director 2003-2004) and Danny Blind (Ajax player 1986-1999, Ajax youth coach 2000-2003, Ajax head youth development 2004-2005, Ajax head coach 2005-2006, Ajax technical director (2008-2012) and Ajax Board member (2018-2021; 2023- ) had to put Ajax back on track for the next 2024-2025 season. A new leadership was picked (CEO, Technical Diector, Director of Football and Head of Scouting and Youth Development), heavily leaning on advice of Louis van Gaal and Danny Blind. That new leadership in turn chose Olympique Nice-coach Francesco Farioli as Ajax-coach for the 2024/25-season. The appointment of Farioli appeared to be a success, so much so that after one season he was signed by FC Porto. Though fans and pundits criticized his choice for a very conservative playing style, as well as opting for older, experienced players without a typical Ajax profile (Pasveer, Rugani, Henderson, Berghuis, Weghorst) instead of younger, home-grown players as per the tradition at Ajax. In short, things went wrong (again) when the leadership opted for John Heitinga last summer. As a consequence Heitinga, Kroes, De Lang and three board members including Danny Blind have already departed the once again sinking ship of Ajax. Once Jordi Cruijff gets installed in February 2026, it is expected that Louis van Gaal and his protegé Marijn Beuker will also disappear at Ajax. That's why, in this fictional universe, we rewind the clock back to last summer and instead of John Heitinga they've chosen me as the new head coach of Ajax. The objective is to qualify for UEFA Champions League (top 3 Eredivisie) and to have a decent run, both in the Dutch Cup as well as in Europe (in both instances the objective are the quarter finals).123Views1like22CommentsLack of commentary names despite names names featuring on past EA FC
Hi, I have played FIFA since 2002 as a child and more recently EA FC. I love career mode despite its shortcomings and lack of overall investment over game modes such as ultimate team and clubs. However, I have to say that this year the bugs are terrible. I paid full price at launch for the game and the live manager ‘black boots glitch’ still hasn’t been fixed. Additionally, and probably my biggest issue, the lack of commentary names. What is going on EA? You have players with absolutely no names during commentary despite their name being in the game but on other players, this could easily be fixed by just linking the two? Also names missing such as Arda Guller - this is English commentary I’m referring to, you have several commentators listed but not one of them know who this guy is apparently? Please just link the names and update this. It ruins my play experience and I’m sure it ruins many others. it may seem small to you but for someone who loves football and emulating a real game/season it puts a real damper on the whole experience and kinda makes me not want to bother. Probably won’t go anywhere but I needed a vent. Regards13Views0likes0CommentsPotential of youth academy players
First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this post. I'm writing to you because since FC26 came out, something has been bothering me. When starting a career mode, we have several options to make it more entertaining. One of these options is the minutes allocated to youth academy matches to see their maximum potential. However, even with this option active, we still can't see the true potential or the overall rating a player will have in the academy. It's not like in FC25 where you could see their real potential and save time looking for others. If they offer this option, it should at least be well-designed. I can't play career modes with academy players because of this issue. I don't understand why they include the option to see their potential if, in the end, we only see their overall rating in the academy matches, not their true potential. I urge you to fix this, or even improve it. Many of us who want to play career mode with academy players or dream of developing a footballing gem can't because we don't know their true potential, and it discourages us from playing. his game23Views0likes0Commentsunhappy players leaving
multiple of my players request wages after i have just finished renewing their contract. After this it still says I haven’t finished their contract and they request a transfer away from the club. If I try to do their contract again it says I can’t do it because I have recently done it. This issue has happened with like 4 of my players in one save please fix this.11Views0likes0CommentsPre & Post match Interviews.
Hi there just a suggestion that I was thinking. I was thinking that, if it’s possible that maybe you could change the way the manager’s and the press in the interviews conduct the actual interview. Give us a bit more questions than just 3 questions and also the content shouldn’t only be about specific players. Instead make questions and answers be more about the actual match that was played, and maybe in any Final or something, such as the Champions League Final or even World Cup Final, change up the questions and answers and make the make the manager and the interviewer speak about the actual Final and talk about how the final went for the manager whether they won it or not. So yeah that’s just something I thought of suggesting for the next update, if it’s possible for you to do.16Views0likes0Comments
