[CM Story] make AJAX great again!
In late 2010, after six seasons without a league title and declining results on the European stage, Johan Cruijff decided to step up at his home club AFC Ajax. Under his influence the tide was turned almost instantly. Four consecutive league titles under manager Frank de Boer were the precursor to international success under successors Peter Bosz and Erik ten Hag. Moreover, the club returned to its core values such as a focus on youth development, typical total football style of play and key positions in the club filled by people with so-called Ajax DNA. This period is commonly known as the Cruijff Revolution or Quiet Revolution. However while Ajax was at peak performance, around the time of the COVID pandemic directors Edwin van der Sar and Marc Overmars decided to step away from the vision set out by Johan Cruijff, who sadly passed away in early 2016. And while results were still fantastic and incoming transfer fees were astronomical under these directors and manager Ten Hag, the club fell into a sharp decline once the batton was passed to new managers and new directors, most notably Technical Director Sven Mislintat (ex-Dortmund, ex-Arsenal). The dramatic fall of the powerhouse in Dutch football seemed to have stopped under Francesco Farioli. However, he decided to call it quits after just one season, as he favoured FC Porto over an extended stay in Amsterdam. And so, Ajax yet again are looking for a new manager - maybe someone dedicated to move Ajax back towards the vision of Johan Cruijff.Solved94Views1like13CommentsConcern Regarding Rainbow Flick → Bicycle Kick Accuracy
Hello EA Team, I wanted to provide some feedback regarding the rainbow flick into bicycle kick combination in FC26. Previously, this move allowed for highly accurate and powerful bicycle kicks following a rainbow flick. The recent patch was intended to address this issue by nerfing the accuracy of the bicycle kick after a rainbow flick. However, it seems the fix only adjusted the accuracy values for a specific overhead kick animation rather than addressing the underlying mechanic. As a result, the inaccuracy doesn't consistently trigger after a rainbow flick; instead, one particular animation now performs poorly while others remain very accurate. This change has effectively turned acrobatic volleys into a gamble: sometimes the volley executes with full accuracy and power, while other times it results in an unsatisfactory outcome, especially when following a rainbow flick. Additionally, this adjustment has significantly reduced the effectivenes of the acrobatic volley playstyle. Aerial play in general now seems even less reliable, making strategies that rely on volleys, overheads or headers far less viable. As a results, the gameplay increasingly favours ground-based play, which limits tactical variet and diminishes the diversity of finishing styles. I understand the intention behind balancing this move, but I hope future updates can consider a more consistent solution that maintains skill-based execution while addressing exploit concerns. Thank you for your time and for continuously improving the game.Competitive gameplay with sliders
Hi DEV, I just want to tell you my wish, I don't know how competitive and authentic gameplay work, or how are they different, But can you add sliders to competitive mode? Because I found profesional difficulty too easy, but world class too hard, I want to add more pass error to CPU, Excuse me for not being that good in this game, Can it be done ? Thanks,12Views0likes0CommentsFc 26 fixed
I’m honestly disappointed with EA FC 26. The Career Mode is the only mode I truly enjoy, yet it’s been completely ruined by this ridiculous “black boots” bug. Every single player ends up wearing the same plain black shoes — it looks like we’re back in FIFA 95! This isn’t a minor glitch; it destroys the immersion and the entire aesthetic that makes Career Mode enjoyable. I’ve spent hours customizing my squad, only to see all my effort vanish every time I reload my save. It’s frustrating that such a simple visual issue has been ignored for weeks. Career Mode players deserve better attention and respect — please fix this immediately and restore the beauty of the game we paid for.16Views0likes0CommentsStill No Fix for the Career Mode Boots Bug – Are We Invisible?
Hey everyone, Has anyone heard anything official from EA about the boots color bug in Career Mode? Every single player still shows up with generic black boots — no brand, no color, no personality — and it completely kills the immersion. This isn’t some minor detail. For Career Mode players who care about realism and identity, it ruins the entire vibe. We spend hours customizing kits, storylines, and lineups… only for everyone to look the same. We’ve seen patch after patch for Ultimate Team — but zero mentions of this issue in any of the updates. It’s been months since release, and nothing. EA, if anyone from the team is reading this: please at least acknowledge the problem. We’re not asking for new features — just for the mode to look and feel like football again. We’re a huge part of the FC community — players who buy the game every year specifically for Career Mode. We’re not here for Ultimate Team or online packs. We pay full price from our own pockets because we love building clubs, stories, and realism. It’s frustrating to feel like this entire part of the player base is being ignored. Anyone else here as frustrated as I am? Let’s keep this thread visible until we get an answer. #FixCareerMode #BootsBug #EASportsFC26114Views3likes3Commentsmake Hill Dickinson stadium (Everton stadium) up to date
its annoyed me that ea havnt been up to track with the Hill Dickinson stadium with things like adding the top stand advertising boards and having the blue wall on the south stand. also not having the sirens and Z-cars back after adding all the other clubs ones. please EA if you see this add these. This company are a joke
I’m genuinely speechless. I don’t think this company has the capacity to surprise me any further with their incompetence yet they still somehow find a way every single time. The new gameplay update to “fix” authentic gameplay and make it more “realistic” and “competitive.” AI just pass it sideways and hit through balls and it’s impossible to win possession back at all. I’m honestly curious as to who actually tests this game before release or before an update is released. Because it’s getting to the point now where I feel as if no one is, or whoever is doesn’t have a clue about football. There have been bugs in career mode for YEARS, which you have not bothered to fix or near even address. There’s been game breaking and career ruining issues with contracts since day one, which you also clearly seem to ignore. The day this franchise gets a competitor it’s over for EA. I have been loyal to FIFA/FC for over 15 years. I’ve tried reporting issues for years, and they never seem to be fixed. I’ve played tonnes of BETAs, and issues reported have made their way into the main game. I’ve had enough. i’ve had enough of being sold a lie every year. i’ve had enough of being scammed every year. And I’m sure a lot of players have had enough of having the absolute mick taken out of them. You’re a multi billion pound company for god sake, and it seems like you need a serious reality check. £70 for a game you know. DO BETTER!!!16Views2likes0Comments
