I remember that sudden downfall towards the end of last season. Football can really be cruel sometimes...
I look forward to read your suggestions about how to fix Ajax this time. Can't say I'm surprised by your choice of club, but it's always interesting to follow these threads anyway and get some inside information about a club that has always had my sympathies.
Good luck!

A lot of familiar names in that setup! Jordi Cruyff (sorry, that's the way I've always seen it spelled), Jonk, Bergkamp and Capellas, a quite famous character in Denmark due to his assistant role to Thomas Frank in Brøndby, before coaching the U21 national team and a short spell with FC Midtjylland as well. Now I just looked him up, and he's apparently been an assistant to Jordi in a Chinese club, so I suppose you've done your homework when fact-checking this new group of leaders in Ajax.

Interested to see how this story pans out considering the late disappointment of last season how can Ajax bounce back and will the new affiliation with the Cruyff foundation help bring through the next lot of stars

Congratulations with the new job at Ajax mate! Signing a 43 year old as a young, exciting new coach is quite funny though, seeing the likes of Hurzeler (32), Still (33) and a lot of others starting their coaching careers already in their 20's. Julian Nagelsmann too, he's been in the game for years and is still only 38.
15 years from now - if we somehow still write CM stories at that time - I'm looking forward to see if Ajax will appoint Daniel Marzec, the 58 year old exciting new coach with limited experience 😄

Nah mate, can't say I know how to do that... Hadn't noticed it either, but you're correct, only the top posts see the images expanded, when you click on them.
I did see Heitinga getting the sack. With the live start points available for the Eredivisie, I would be tempted to start with Ajax from a struggling position rather than starting from fresh some months ago. I hope you find a start to get yourself off the ground. Good luck with that. And good luck to Ajax fixing this current situation.
