Battle Royale Mode Suggestion from 1 Fan BF
I'm not sure how best to suggest this, but I had a vision where a Battle Royale mode featuring 6 teams of 8 players each could really showcase the potential of both environmental destruction and vehicle systems. With more players per team, the importance of the environment would increase significantly — it wouldn't just be about shooting anymore. I think this setup could highlight the game's unique mechanics more effectively, especially when the Battle Royale mode aligns with the core identity of the game. What does everyone else think?WE NEED A CLAN SYSTEM OR FULL 32 PLAYER DROP
we need a clan system , and a 32 player group drop before i even spend a SINGLE £1 ON BF6 COBSIDERING THIS WILL FIX THE PROBLEMS BATTLEFIELD HAS , 4 PLAYERS THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND THE REST OF THE 28 PLAYERS ARE USELESS NPCS , NO THANK YOU , UNTIL YOU IMPLEMENT A CLAN SYSTEM JUST LIKE HOW MAG HAD IT NOW LOOK AT THAT AND LEARN HOWTO CREATE OBJECTIVE BASED GAMES ..... EA , DICE AND LEARN , WITHOUT CLAN SYSTEM OR GROUP DROP ITS A MESS , AND WE HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM SINCE AFTER BF HARDLINE , AND NEVER AGAIN, WITHOUT THIS BASIC SYSTEM FOR OBJECTIVEBASED GAME, NO THANKS ,NO CLAN SYSTEM , NO BUY 👍More Destructions
I want to deform the maps more, especially towns and city's where sometimes you rocket/C-4 a wall but nothing happens and make destroying parts on a building or bridge to crush people, block line of sight or advantage points and this can go for other maps with hills and mountains when blown up enough makes a mini Avalanche. Some thoughts on what I've seen.
The game looks really good. Without playing yet, things look to be in good shape, decently balanced, (except slug shotgun), and overall a good start. Guns have there strengths. Yes, some are better than others, but its the nature of things, (some extremes however). Maps look good and offer variety of play styles. Spotting while downed is something I think should be removed. A downed player is out of comission, they shouldn't be able to support the players around them in that state. I do understand parties can call out, but its better that way than to have their position marked. I'm excited to try the beta and get a better look/feel into these thoughts. This was a reply elsewhere, but fits: Snipers are a long range weapon, not cqb. The sweet spot encourages this. They are a heavy percision rifle. Smgs and shotguns should dominate in close quarters, assault in mid. To make them work everywhere defeats the purpose of the selection. Recon has other tools to play up close. The ttk being fast also makes you think before going in and encourages squad play. Strength in numbers, if you charge and act without thinking, you get wiped costing your team.My biggest concerns for the upcoming Battlefield 6
Absolutely HUUUUGE BF fan here, I've put so many hours into BF on Series X/PS5 and PC over MANY years. Starting with BF3, I've played every Battlefield, and had some fantastic times on ALL of them, despite 2042 being my least enjoyed, despite it being a MIND BLOWING game - it just was not for me overall. I would like to air my biggest concerns for BF6. And they echo my issues with 2042. 1) The maps (we will see...) 2) No map filter (This killed BF 2042 for me). 3) Crossplay - with insufficient Input Based Matchmaking. (just relying on SBMM to sort things out is utterly detestable) 4) SBMM (So Crossplay can exist with insufficient Input Based Matchmaking). 5) No server browser (So SBMM can exist) 6) Performance. These will make or break my time with BF6. Just like BF 2042, it was such a jaw dropping game in so many ways, and at certain times and on the right maps I had a BLAST, but, due to these issues, for me (and you can NEVER please everyone - that's why we need options/choices with, for example, MAP FILTERS) I fear for the upcoming BF6 game. I am so routing for it though, obviously! If NOTHING ELSE, a map filter when searching would make the game tolerable. Since, I'm so aware you can't have a server browser with SBMM. Note: To the team who did BF2042 I can honestly say from an objective perspective it was a masterwork (in many ways) - incredible, and I will always stand by that, but, with art, I'm afraid personal preference and taste dictates success, over technical mastery, often.144Views5likes5CommentsWhich mechanics do you want and which not?
So we're closing in on the multiplayer reveal. Let's start the discussion on what mechanics from previous titles you would like to see return in Battlefield 6 and which absolutely not? Here's my list. Interested to see what others think. YES Server Browser with persistent servers Rental servers Scoreboard (shouldn´t have to list this but BF2042 taught us otherwise) Limited ammo on vehicles, combined with re-supply stations Jets and helicopters should spawn at base, not mid-air Soldier leaning Squad revive Hardcore mode Basic militaristic cosmetics Class locked weapons 64 players max Modes: Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, TDM, Frontlines, Operations Maps: good variety between AOW and Close Quarters, Naval maps, Night maps 1st person takedown animation Destruction Dynamic weather Realistic movement DLC with 4 new maps, new modes and vehicles every quarter Premium pass NO Specialists Goofy cosmetics Cringe voicelines Excessive spotting In-game wallhack abilities/gadgets Crossplay on by default XL chaos modes 3rd person animations, it should be a proper FPS No excessive sliding, bunny hopping, dolphin diving or sprinting with a heavy LMG Sniper sweetspot That's it for now, but I might add to this list by means of editing the OP.545Views21likes34CommentsMaps!
So we now know that Battlefield 6 will launch with 9 maps, one of them being a remake of the old BF3 map Operation Firestorm, which I’m not gonna lie brought a little moist to my eyes when I first saw it during the MP reveal showcase. But all sentiment aside, we need to discuss maps. To me the amount of and variety in maps is a key factor for Battlefield. So taking Operation Firestorm out of the equation Battlefield 6 will launch with 8 new maps, which is one more than Battlefield 2042 launched with. But 2042 launched with 6 portal maps, of which 4 were playable in regular AOW. When it comes to variety I’m I little concerned. Having seen gameplay on 4 maps so far, of which I’ve played 3 myself already, the balance seems to be tipping towards close quarters a bit too much. Empire State, Iberian Offensive (Gibraltar) and Siege of Cairo for sure are CQ. I think we can safely assume that Manhattan Bridge is as well, and by the looks of it Sobek City and Saints Quarter also are. That would mean 6/9 are CQ maps. I love urban CQ maps and there was a lack of them in BF2042, but the balance should not tilt the other way. It will be important how, when and how many additional new maps will come to the base game. Dice should not make the same mistake as with BF2042 where we had to wait until 1 year after launch only to receive 1 new map. This type and pace of drip fed content will not be acceptable anymore! And no a Battle Royale map does not count as base game content!Happy for BF6 but have concerns for the franchise
Been awhile since I've posted I kinda moved away from the franchise for the first time in 15+ years of playing. My biggest concern for Battlefield 6 is this trend of abandoning your games early and hanging the player base out to dry like the past 2 games. With both BFV and BF2042, the games got to a good place, players were returning and thrilled with the game and all we needed was steady content injection. BFV needed it's rumored eastern front season, and BF2042 just needed more of well everything. On the wait for Battlefield 6 would it have really been too much to ask for for even some small content injections? And no I don't mean skins and featured game modes. What happens to more vault weapons, vault vehicles, and portal maps? So much more could've been done with this game. Once again bailed, start a new game. This trend makes it hard to be excited for the next game and makes me truly question if battlefield is where I want to stay when I spend much of my time and money gaming. So I highly recommend giving back to the players that supported 2042 from launch to now like myself and giving us some weapons, vehicles, a map. Thank you,They finally fixed vehicle spawns after 12 years!
I'm so happy that DICE finally decided to revert to BF4 vehicle spawn menu. I can see the spawns directly on the map without having to jump back and forth. This is how all BF games has been PRE BF1, and it should never have changed. This to me has been the biggest issue of all the last games. Now you can finally jump in to a vehicle in the spawn menu if its . The fact that I had to click back and forth on a menu before to see if anything was availed or not just was a huge hassle. I never played vehicles in BF 2042, BF 5 or BF1 because of this. For the love of all that is holy. Keep it like this. Please stop sending us to the main menu after every round.
I don't know who's idea was this but is insanely emersion breaking, keep things going like BF3 and BF4 if you send me to the main menu I will have second thoughts and may end up playing other game or stop playing at all. If I'm having fun don't take me out of the game. I was addicted to BF4 and got all the DLC because it never took me out of the game. The more I'm in the game and enjoying the more likely is for me to buy cosmetics and other stuff.
