Sim NPC pathing (gets stuck on bush)
The sim maid (and possibly others i haven't noticed) keep getting stuck on this bush and after many attempts and google searches trying to find a way to just delete the bush which is outside my houses build zone, couldn't find any work around aside from having to go to turning on cheats to reset the sim that got stuck which is pretty annoying.7Views0likes0CommentsWhy pic the least “Battlefield’esque” map for holiday event?
The tiny NYC map has been blacklisted by me and most of my friends since the map went live in Beta. Dear DICE, why would you pic the most COD boy map for this Winter event? It’s the same nonsense DICE has done with forcing players that hate BR to play BR in order to unlock skins and to do specific Battlepass requirements. Basically DICE is artificially inflating player numbers for unpopular game modes and unpopular maps so they can show data saying these hated game modes and disliked maps are “very popular”. It’s all bull crap. The snow effects and lowered visibility on larger maps like Mirak Valley or Liberation Peak, maps that play like traditional BF maps, would have been amazing for the holidays and would have drastically changed how these maps play. Instead were stuck with a tiny little COD boi map. Sorry. No thanks. I don’t need snow skins on a tiny COD boy map that plays mostly indoors.Dying from less than 100 points of damage consistently
Id say 60% of the time, no matter the game mode, I die from less than 100 points of damage. I regularly die from 60-70 points of damage. Tonight was the worst, once from 34 points and another from 16 points of damage. I KNOW EA employees couldn't do math to save their own life, but not even mine? I only want to play certain maps not all of them, it's annoying having to rejoin servers over and over again to get into the right maps. I simply hate Stockpile with every fibre of my body and never want to play it. It has all this smoke and fires and is simply ugly to look at, it's the worst anybody could think of. No idea what person came up with this ugly map, but it should never be in ANY Casual Breakthrough map cycle. Give me a way to avoid this horrible map or remove it from the list of possible maps for Casual Breakthrough please. I don't care if the Battle Royale ppl want to play this map or even in Conquest mode, but no I don't want to play it. Stockpile is simply horrible and ugly!Icelock visibility is bad. Stop forcing us to play time-limited modes
Icelock visibility is atrocious. I understand the seasonal tie-in, but you should not have pushed this mode out until you had finished more sweeping visibility changes. Can't see anyone shooting at me, constant invisible people in the shadows. Please, stop forcing us to play time-limited modes like sabotage and icelock for exclusive rewards. I'm miserable and am taking a break from battlefield because I just can't stand this horrific gamemode. If a player is already playing your game, you got them. You don't need to force them into a mode they don't want to play. You can have the exclusive rewards, but just tie them to normal progression, not require them to play the ONE new game mode or map nonstop. If they're interested in it they'll naturally check it out! I also thought Sabotage was a total miss. Still had to play dozens of matches to get things I wanted. I WANT to play battlefield. But I hate being pigeon-holed into playing a gamemode I have no interest in or have already discovered I hate. That makes me want to play battlefield LESS.The Repair Tool is the root of most ground-vehicle issues right now
Tanks are squishier than ever before in this game, they're paper mache if you know how to hit them. This might be an issue. However, the repair tool is BROKEN overpowered, legitimately appalling how strong it is, so if there are a couple engineers on a tank, it is borderline indestructible. Paper mache tanks are really punishing, and broken repair tool leads to wildly inconsistent and unpredictable engagements that also lead to a lot of frustration for players who feel there is nothing they can do to damage one. I've had 2 minute long tank battles because neither of us can kill each other with all the repairs and we just give up and start farming each others' infantry. That sucks and is boring and lame. This has happened multiple times, on Manhattan Bridge, Siege of Cairo, etc. So many tank battles feel like they come down to "which one has more engineers repairing" rather than which can use cover, get the jump, get better angles, etc. I think designing the tanks in this way is rife with issues. Because they are so squishy on their own, inexperienced tankers legitimately have no chance to do anything unless the are swarmed with repairs, and as mentioned above, it can lead to frustration taking them out when they are backed up sufficiently. It also makes tank engagements BORING. The repair tool should not swing tank engagements this heavily. Tank battles are cool when they end in a big explosion, ideally lasting long enough for both drivers to make some decisions to affect the outcome. I've had way too many long, drawn out engagements that are just straight up not interesting because the repair tool outheals tank shells (especially with multiple engineers.) Flanking the infantry isn't always available, and C4 has been nerfed tremendously in this game with 3 not even being guaranteed to take out a tank (another huge, huge issue.) The current vehicle balance feels very disappointing in this game, engagements are less interesting, and drivers have less agency than ever. Mirak Valley might be my favorite map were it not for the rough state of vehicles (ground and air, looking at you obscenely broken laser designator) and I'm hoping it will be once these elements are worked out.
