Suggestion:New Mass Effect
Hey everyone, fellow Mass Effect fans! I've had an idea floating around in my head for a while now and I'd love to hear what you all think about it. It's about connecting the Mass Effect 3 endings with the new game and the potential return of Shepard. My thought is that BioWare could allow us to import our saves from ME3 with any ending, but the dialogue options related to romantic relationships and full Shepard continuity would only unlock if you chose the "Destroy" ending where Shepard survives. This could be explained by the nanotechnology from the Lazarus Project. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it would help BioWare elegantly bridge the story and also respect player choices? Let me know in the comments. Thank you!17Views0likes0CommentsNew Game Mass Effect
Hello BioWare Team, As a long-time and dedicated fan of the Mass Effect series, I would like to contribute an idea regarding story continuity in the upcoming game. Given the various endings of Mass Effect 3 and the teaser with Liara and the N7 armor, it's clear that addressing this will be crucial for many. I propose the following approach, which would respect player choices while allowing for a strong continuation of the story: * Allow save imports from any Mass Effect 3 ending: Enable players to transfer their saved game regardless of which ME3 ending they chose (Destroy, Control, Synthesis, Refuse). This would honor their investment and emotional decisions. * Canonicalize the "Destroy" ending (with Shepard's survival) through additional content: * For players who import a save from the "Destroy" ending (under conditions where Shepard survives), the new game would unlock special dialogues, side quests, and deeper interactions related to Shepard's return and their romantic relationships. This would serve as a direct continuation of their story. * Explanation for Shepard's survival: This could be simply linked to the nanotechnology and enhancements Shepard received through Project Lazarus in Mass Effect 2. If Shepard survived such an ordeal, surviving the final explosion, supported by these enhancements, would make sense. * EDI's fate: Similarly, if the Normandy could be repaired (as suggested by the scene after the Destroy ending), EDI, as its integral digital component, could also be restored in some way, perhaps in a different form or requiring reactivation. Her deep connection to the ship could serve as a bridge. * For other endings: If a player imports a save from another ending (Control, Synthesis, Refuse), the new game could assume that Shepard did not physically survive and became a legend. Dialogues and the story in such cases would focus on Shepard's legacy and its repercussions, but without directly continuing their personal relationship storylines. Players would still be immersed in the world, but would be subtly motivated to try the Destroy ending if they wish to experience the "complete" narrative. I believe this approach would allow BioWare to continue Shepard's powerful story (as hinted by the teaser), while respecting the diversity of player choices and providing players with clear motivation. Thank you for your consideration! Sincerely, [Lapso123] A loyal Mass Effect fan❤️New game Mass Effect

Hello! I am a new Mass Effect player who is about to finish MELE 2 with an imported Custom Female Shepard (was modded with cosmetics and textures, but I had restored the game back to vanilla). I am playing the game on Steam. I had just finished all the assignments I could possibly find along with finishing all the missions, including the completion of installing the Reaper IFF. After the last cutscene of the Normandy Assault where we played as Joker, I realised that the interactable NPCs (Kelly, Doctor Chakwas, and Mess Sergeant Gardner) were still present in the Normandy despite the mission stating that ALL crew members were abducted by the Collectors. I already felt that there was a problem upcoming. As soon as I clicked on the Omega-4 Relay on the map, it had no option to land. My only option available was to press the back button, but the Journal stated that I need to enter the Omega-4 Relay for my next mission. Basically, the game became unplayable after the Reaper IFF installation. On another note, another small bug's been lingering in my game, and I wonder if it has contributed to the existence of the Omega-4 Relay bug. I have Dossier: The Assassin still marked incomplete in Journal, even though Thane has already been recruited and became loyal. It says I have to go to Dantius Bridge but it's practically impossible since I already completed the mission. I assumed it was because my game was modded, so here's a list of what I've tried to fix the game: Restored my ENTIRE MELE game to back to vanilla. Deleted game progress until I was back to the mission where I obtain the Reaper IFF and replayed from that point onwards in vanilla. Still same result. Replayed Thane's recruitment mission, but I still have his mission marked incomplete in Journal. Got Steam to verify file integrity but no corrupt files were found after I restored the game to vanilla. I will attach the related files here. Hopefully I can get my game fixed! I would like to get to this issue as soon as possible as I want to get my Shepard imported to MELE 3 and obtain the Long Service Medal achievement!! Thank you :]! *Note, I found a user on Reddit with my exact same issue (Dossier: The Assassin bug included). They stated that they are also playing MELE on Steam with no mods, so I assume mods may not be the issue for the bug?achievements are not unlocked
I just finished Mass Effect 2 via Steam, and I got a romance with Miranda and completed it on Insanity. When I did this, the respective achievements were not unlocked. I clarify that I never touched anything about the difficulty. I spent 42 hours playing to get the Platinum, and this is happening to me.😢😢26Views0likes0CommentsController Not Working - Mass Effect Legendary Edition Steam
System: PC Windows 10 Purchased on Steam Latest EA App Version 13.482.0.5995 I recently reinstalled Legendary Edition to replay the trilogy and no matter what I try I cannot get my controller to connect (I have PS5 and a generic xbox controller). I remember playing with controller just fine back in 2021 and the best I can find online is that this seems to be an ongoing issue with the EA App itself. I bought the game on steam, I have adjusted every possible controller setting on there. I have tried adding EADesktop as a non-steam game, and that does show the controller in the Legendary menu, but once I boot up ME1 it no longer shows any controller options. If anyone has any other work arounds to try that would be great!Mass effect legendary Edition wont launch on GFN
I previously had Xbox Game Pass and played Mass Effect Legendary Edition via GeForce Now. After my Game Pass subscription ended, I bought the game through Epic Games and linked it to my EA account. However, whenever I try to launch the game through GeForce Now, the EA app gives me this error: Failed to launch game. An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later. I already tried deleting all my trusted devices from my EA account, but the issue still persists. What’s going on here? BF 2042 works fine.ME2 Legendary eddition all DLCs black screen after prologue
Hello everyone, I am getting a black screen right after the initial prologue where Normandy exploded, after that there is a logo of ME2 and immediatelly after that ME2 Genesis DLC launches and black screen happens. I can only see the Shepard: NON-TLK and afterwards the decission circle but nothing around it. I cannot press anything and I have to do a "hard" exit and shut down of the game. I have purchased this gave through Steam and installed it there as well with all DLCs. Do You know how to fix this? Many thanks for Your help!110Views0likes3Comments
