mods deleting themselves from folder
hi, when i loaded into the game after a break, i saw that my sims were all naked and my build cc was gone, i disabled and enabled mods and restarted the game a few times, and moved my mods folder so that a new one would generate, however i then discovered that my folder only had about 700 items when i usually have thousands (my pc can handle this, my games been running very smoothly, no mcc last exceptions) i went onto this forum and found the *.package hack, and i found my mods and moved them back into the folder, however when i tried stating my game back up the missing game data error popped up, after which i tried to do the 50/50 test but before i even did anything i discovered that the files were literally deleting themselves from my mods folder, i could see the total number of files going down till only the resource file remained additionally, my mods folder used to be organized, and my "cc" folder cannot be opened or deleted with a corrupt and unreadable error message popping up please help! this is years of cc and i have been having really good time playing recently
trouble with removing objects
I just recently started having an issue in build mode, with objects, I can't use anything to remove objects in build mode, when i'm dragging something and i try to sell it or put it in the inventory, it does nothing. This is worrying me if its mods, or its a bug in the game, I'm not sure if anyone is having the same issue. It happens every once in a while, not every time. But it's really frustrating and a bit worrisome.
Family tree keeps adding invisible grandparents
I remade the two parents, completely from scratch, and every time they'd have their first baby this happens. I do have mods and cc, but this has been happening for a while. The only mod I actually have is MC Command Center. The others are CAS overrides(skin/eyes) and hair.
freezing while saving
every time I go to save my game it freezes on the save screen. it happens when I save and exit or just save the game. I do have mods, I have cleared my cache, organized through my mods folder, and deleted conflicting mods. I have not checked my cursed forge mods. I have tried saving once every 10 minutes, it allows me to save around 5 times before freezing again. I tried this to save a bit at a time and not overload my game. makes no sense it only allows me to save a couple times before freezing again. getting so tired of restarting every day please help!Ravenwood events not triggering or showing on calendar? I just noticed this today while playing, thus I sincerely have no idea how long this issue has been persisting. The Thinned Festiveil spawns properly, as well as the Moonlight Revelry. However, Afterlife Anonymous in Mourningvale does not spawn at all! I am not even notified either of the event's occurrence beforehand. I am not quite sure about any of the other Ravenwood calendar events , as I have not been using Ravenwood for long enough to notice yet. I do have the "More premade holidays" mod and the "Calendar tweaks" mod installed. As well as an 80GB mod folder (that I am actively downsizing and organizing) so, yes, I am well aware that it could be a mod. If it is, then I plan on eliminating it via the 50-50 method next. Because my mods folder is huge, I am looking for any other solution first. Also, I am posting here to see if anyone has experienced a similar issue and has successfully solved it. I am also curious as to whether this would be caused by a mod that tweaks calendar events, or one that is completely unrelated?sims not working after trying everything
i’ve been having issues for the past multiple weeks with the sims. it never launches and i’ve tried everything and have tried soo many times. it seems like it runs in the background as task manager says it’s running, and so does steam and EA. i can’t bring it to the front, i’ve repaired multiple times, removed all mods, checked if there were any ID conflicts or if anything was corrupted, i’ve installed and uninstalled multiple times, aswell as deleting it from steam and only using it through EA and it still won’t run, and within these past two weeks it’s only ran maybe three times max. i’m not running it as admin and have checked my drivers and updated everything. if anyone knows what i can do that would be such a big help, im at a complete lossMods folder not spawning/gone
Ok so Im pretty familiar with downloading custom content and finding the mods folder but I recently wanted to add some new custom content and can't find my mods folder. Ive restarted my game enabling and disabling custom content, I've restarted my own computer multiple times and nothing is making the folder pop up. Whats weird is while i cant find it in my finder every time i enable mods/cc I still have all of my previous CC thats been downloaded, and its playable too. idk if i'm just missing it completely or what but ANY help you can offer would be greatly appreciated
sims farting all the time
hey there, i hope somebody can help my Sims, no matter the age or gender fart all the time. they have not eaten beans and are not lactose intollerant, and they do not have any trait that would give them that behavior. It is really getting out of hand, and quite frankly, disgusting when they all fart every few minutes and then laugh like it is the funniest thing in the entire universe. it really puts me off of playing. the only mod that i have installed is MCCC and Better build buy and a bit of CC, so nothing that directly influences their behavior. hope somebody can help, even mods that are supposed to stop those interactions do not work at all so i took them back out.
Error Code 123:1034405/ LE: situation_shifts
When I load into the game and press resume, the following error code comes up and says that I should relaunch the game. Doing so doesn't change anything, I've also repaired the game and removed my mods folder and the error still comes up. Any ideas?
