Reaper's Rewards: Mail can't reach mailbox, mail not delivered
I've updated my game today after the reaper's reward event got fixed and now my game has a new bug in it. The mailman came to my sims house and is complaining it can't reach the mailbox even though the mailbox is in a reachable spot and is on a flat ground. All my mods are up to date. I've tried resetting him and also tried repairing my game as well. Neither one worked. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ107Views4likes6Commentsscare seeker lot mood buff
I had the lot challenge active on a different lot, and then my simmers moved to a new house, without the scare seeker lot active on the plot. Now my sims keeps getting a bored moodlet from not experiencing any thrill from the scare seeker lot. Even though I don't have it activated on the current lot. Don't know if it's intended or if it's a bug.2Views0likes1CommentWhy is this how the saves and misc stuff routed...
I am not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I feel its important to know why the directory for mods, saves and all that other stuff has to go to documents in the main drive of any computer. I like to have extra content on my games to help create really good and immersive characters for when I play. But eventually my drive runs out of space and I am forced to delete mods..... Now yes there apparently a way around this by tricking your game into thinking its going into the main drive by some sort of linking using the command prompt for windows but that's such a complicated method and is unfair to those who can't do something like that or are not as tech savvy. And Sims is not the only game like this. I just can't come up with other examples since they're not games I have (I think...). Anyway, I just find its really stupid honestly. It should be a choice. When I installed the game and was gven the choice of where the folder would end up, I was under the impression that it would include the previously mentioned folder. I have things I do, I am a photographer, especially with games. And those pictures pile up ya know? And I have games I want to run the fastest and put them on my main drive. I don't want to have to upgrade my main drive or buy a new SSD just so I can have the speed for a few games when speed isn't what I worry about with The Sims....How to fix Neck Seams?
I have an issue with my game. I use some mods and clothing mods to make my game look nice and smooth. I'd notice a small line in between my sim neck since I focus on small lines and it's bothering me a little since I like to make my character perfect for my story. For my mods skins, I use KBHD Primer Default HD Plus, and a few others. I have also some outfits and some haircuts since I play the game all the time. Nothing is wrong with my game. I just cleaned up my Cashe and my game runs pretty well after a while and I just wanna fix this minor issue that's not even an issue. I play this game on my PC and I need some details on how to do this. Please and thank you!Need Room for Rotational Play in Sunset Valley
I realize that not many people play the Sims 3 rotationally. At least, not many people document that type of gameplay online the way they do for the Sims 2, but I'm planning quite a big undertaking in my own personal game. I have added several families (including plans for new businesses / community lots) to Sunset Valley and plan to play them all in rotation Sims 2 style using NRAAS and other mods. However, I need room for the extra families and the expansion of descendants over time, and unfortunately there's no option to add more space via subhoods like there is in Sims 2. All that to say, does anyone have ideas / techniques (probably using create a world to modify the map I guess?) to expand Sunset Valley with more residential lots in a way that feels organic and keeps most of the premade houses intact? P.S. ~ I know it might sound like if I like Sims 2 style rotational play then I would be better off playing that game, but I love so many things about the Sims 3 like the traits, customization, and open world detail, so I feel like I could better tell my sims' stories the way I want in that game, even if it takes some tweaking to get it working the way I need it to.33Views2likes2CommentsInvisible items
I´m not sure if it is a Technical Issue but.... sinc the last Update i have a lot of Items across all expansion packs that are invisible. For example: I went to the Library in Britechester and i cant see any Bookshelf. In the screenshot i moved with my mous to one bookshelf, not even then i can really see the Item. There is no issue with using the items just a visual issue. No I´m not using all expansion packs. Yes I´m using mods/cc Its a new safe file for the Super Sim Challange. I didnt even start the challange right. Just finished building the house and then when directliy to the library.43Views0likes4CommentsCan't Open the Sims
It's been about 6 days now and I cannot open the sims. I deleted all mods/cc. I ran a repair, I uninstalled the entire game, I deleted my cache, I've run as Administrator, and nothing. EA can you finally get your **bleep** together and put out a game that works, with FAR LESS ISSUES that seem to happen to a lot of people on a regular basis, k thanks.Mods keep being disabled even after update
Idk what it was with the last two updates but each time I load the game up, my mods are disabled even though I keep enabling them and restarting the game. I know certain mods have to be updated when the game gets an update so they don't conflict with gameplay but I've tried it several times and even deleted and reinstalled the game, repaired the game, and erased game data. I've tried to use several different mods separately but they keep saying the same thing (mods have been disabled) and it's quite becoming really annoying. Is there anyone who could explain this or help me out in any way?
