Glitches after using Werewolves and Vampires packs
My roommate and I decided to make teen roommate Sims, one being a vampire and the other being a werewolf. After we created the Sims and decorated the house they would be sharing, we realized the Sims hated each other. To fix this, we used the cheat code to boost their friendship. After doing so, however, gameplay stopped working. Further, in different game files, I'm having multiple issues. These include menus not opening properly and Sims' action logs overlapping. Pictures listed. In my household consisting of a vampire ghost Sim and a human Sim, their pictures do not come up in the bottom left. Picture not listed. I deleted the original file with the werewolf and vampire roommates, but I am still having problems. I also tried repairing the game and add-on files via the EA app, but nothing got fixed. Would love to know if anyone else has (had) this problem and how I might go about resolving these issues.
Suggestion for PC and monitor
I know that so many people have asked for recommendations before, but I want to make sure I’m not buying something too fancy I won’t need or something not good enough. I want to invest in a pc for playing sims 4 with basic mods, possibly some custom content and pretty much all packs and additions. No other games other than maybe internet browsing and YouTube. I’ve got a pretty good chunk of disposable income. I’ve previously played on dell laptops and MacBooks, but these are notoriously bad for graphics, glitching and gameplay lag. My budget is $2-5k for both monitor and pc combined. Can someone recommend a good monitor and pc? Prebuilt preferably.
High School Years Issue
I apologize if this isn't the correct discussion forum for this; I'm unsure whether this is a bug or an issue with a script mod, and I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem. When I join my teen sims at school, I get this pop-up: Seasons works perfectly, but this happens every single time I send my teen sims to school and join them. The gameplay also doesn't work correctly (i.e., task bar/timer). All that appears is that top box. I have a mod that says the UI Cheats mod is the issue, but no one else seems to have a problem with the mod, and the creator says it's an EA issue, but I haven't seen anyone else with this problem either, with or without UI Cheats. So I wonder if anyone else has a problem like this with High School Years? Or any other script mods that may or may not be causing it?
Total loss of sound lips not moving
Hello, Since the latest update of The Sims 4, I am experiencing a recurring bug where all sound is lost. This happens in two situations: First situation the bug always occurs after returning to the desktop using the Windows key while the game is running. Second situation the bug sometimes appears randomly when launching the game just after turning on the PC. The issue happens with or without mods installed. It occurs in both CAS and Live Mode It happens in fullscreen and windowed mode. Observed effects: All sound disappears including music effects and voices. Sims lips do not move when they talk in CAS and in Live Mode. Changing audio settings in the game does nothing. Changing the audio device in Windows has no effect. Using the Windows Ctrl Shift B shortcut does not fix it either. The only way to get the sound back is to completely close and relaunch the game. Thanks for your help123:1034405:ff49c79f error code
Hi, I have had this error code 123:1034405:ff49c79f appear when I try and play the game. I have restarted the game many times, reinstalled the game and tried repairing it, but with no luck. I don't have any mods installed. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks!
Sims3Pack files not installing or converting on Mac 64-bit
Hi, I really need help because I’ve tried everything I can think of and nothing is working. I’m playing The Sims 3 on my MacBook (64-bit version). Every time I try to put Sims3Pack files into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads, the launcher crashes as soon as I click the “Downloads” button, or the files don’t show up at all to install. I even tried converting these Sims3Pack files into .package files on a Windows computer using a multi-extractor. The conversion worked, and I put the .package files into Mods > Packages. 1 worked and it was only a hair item i think, but most of my converted content doesn’t appear in-game. It’s random — one or two items will show up, but everything else is missing. My resource.cfg file is correctly set up. I know the Mods folder works because other mods (like NoIntro and NoSparkles) are showing up fine. I’ve also tried using the in-game Downloads Dashboard (Main Menu > Options > Downloads Dashboard), but nothing shows there either. At this point, I don’t know I just want to get my custom content working properly. If anyone has a solution, suggestions, or step-by-step advice, I’d be extremely grateful. Thank you!
Underwater Lot
Hey, I'm looking for a lot that looks like it's underwater so I can take underwater photos of my mermaid Sims. Does anyone know a creator who has any? As I know, by default we can't take underwater photos, which sucks! I can't connect to the Gallery due to an error I can't seem to fix, so I would need to be able to download the CC and/or tray files elsewhere.
