Changed hairstyle on premade sim does not apply to work clothes
As the topic suggests the hairstyle on premade sims does not apply to work clothes. When I go in to CAS and change the hairstyle of a premade sim to anything but the one it had from the start it still changes back to the original hairstyle when changing to workclothes. I had Tom Peeping join my household and remade him to look better but when I sent him of to work his usual bald head made a comeback and there is no way to change it. It is the same if I use a townie. In one save it happened to a child sim when I tried to give him a bath. I do use mods but it also happens when I play vanilla and across different saves. Is someone else experiencing the same issue and possibly also know of a way to fix it?SolvedIn a pickle
Iv'e spent weeks trying to fix my Sims 4 game and im still just not sure what to do, i went on tiktok and they told me to get "Better Exceptions" which i did and it just told me to delete stuff everytime i opened the game, thankfully my game was finally able to open after it going back to the world selection page everytime i clicked on the household, but the problem with that was better execptions kept spamming this message in the notificaion box everytime i wanted my sims to do the simplest things like getting food from the fridge, especially when i wanted to age up theyre newborn, everytime to option was clicked they T-posed and the action gets cancelled. So i deleted better exceptions, still had the same issue. So then after that I went to chatgpt and asked it to look at all my broken mods i had about 7,500 mods downloaded, after it went through my broken mods and then organized my sims 4 mods folder is when i started to have problems. Everytime i tried launching the game it would come up with an error saying a certain mod was broken, so as one does i removed it, but it started becoming a pattern, i would remove to mod that was said "corrupted" then it would say that about another. So eventually i took all my mods out and everything was fine, i added mccc and it was fine, **bleep** and basemental mods, everything was fine until i wanted to other mods, for example hair cc, i added one file and it started showing the error again. I have no idea whats going on and it's been months since ive actually been able to play sims 4 without any problems, it would be awesome if someone could help me figure this out. I just bought the sims 3. Downloaded it, bought add-ons. When I try to start playing, it comes up with a serious error message (located in the attachments). I tried to follow the ea troubleshoot instructions but those didnt help. I tried all worlds but none are working. I need some help please!!10Views0likes0CommentsHelp me with deleting a non-existent mod
Okay, listen: Basically what happened is that two years ago I wanted to start installing mods to improve my Sims, so first I downloaded a pack of eye colors (it should be noted that it was not at all like what was in the preview). Because I was disappointed, I decided to delete the mod via an automatically created folder called "Mods" - as it should be deleted, but when I went back into the program - the eye colors (which are so ugly and random as you can see btw) did not disappear! Even until now, I have suffered like this, and I have no idea how to delete this annoying mod that I don't even know where it is.. PLEASE HELP ME :(( Thanks in advance! How to repair Sims4
I tried to open my game today after an update after not playing for a week + getting new CC, and it kept saying I couldn’t open due to corrupted game files/mods. So I tried to delete what I thought were the problem files (but I can’t really tell) and now it doesn’t give me that message but it just won’t open beyond the Origin launch message. I keep seeing that repairing the game might fix this, and that you can do that from the EA app but it’s not working. I can’t right click on the game and when I click manage it only shows me my add ons. Please help I have no idea what to do and am hesitant to download sims 4 studioSolved201Views0likes3CommentsMy game doesn't work when I try to use mods.
I have been experiencing issues with playing with mods, and I thought it might be due to outdated mods. However, after updating them all, the game still wouldn't work. I am also having issues where even when I play without mods, the game won't allow me to save my builds. I also have the Nordhaven world twice in one of my worlds. The Sims 4 is "not responding" when opening the game.
My Sims 4 starts up as "not responding" and freezes like that for a while. I've already uninstalled the game and cleaned all its folders, reinstalled it with a clean copy, and even then every time I start it, it's still "not responding." Then it unfreezes, but as soon as the plumbob spins, it freezes and the music stops. I didn't play for about two weeks, and when I came back, it's like this.Urgent Help: Custom Content (CC) Blocking Sim Uploads to The Sims 4 Gallery
Hello, I am a new PC player, having recently transitioned from console, and I am encountering a significant issue when attempting to share my Sims. The Issue: My Custom Content (CC) works perfectly fine during the creation process in Create-A-Sim (CAS)—there are no graphical glitches or errors. However, when I finish the Sim and attempt to save them to my personal in-game Library/Gallery, the upload fails whenever the Sim has CC applied. With CC: The Sim shows the 'modded' icon, but the upload to the Library/Gallery does not complete/show up. Without CC: If I remove all Custom Content from the Sim and save them, the upload works instantly and the Sim appears in my Library/Gallery.
