Game won’t load cc all at once
For some reason ever since a recent update my game hasn’t been loading I assumed it was due to my custom content, so I took it all out of my game and it loaded perfectly fine so to find the culprit I decided to do the 50/50 method, however as I made my way through the files. I couldn’t find a single mod that was out of date or corrupting my game and I noticed that my game would only load if I put in each piece of cc in small batches. I even went as far as completely uninstalling my game and reinstalling it but the issue didn’t resolve. I didn’t install any new cc since the update and my game has never given me any issues so I’m assuming something must’ve changed in the way the game handles cc. I play with MacBook Air with 16 GB of memory on OS Tahoe 26.4.1
SIMS UI BROKEN
hello, idk if its my sims game (newest update) or if it's a mod that has bugged out. But my sims UI like where their emotions are and everything completely bugs out sometimes. it doesn't let me switch between sims, the emotions completely grey out, but the game is still running. Does anybody know the mod that does this or is this an unknown problem.. :(
Mc Command Center Last Exception
Hello Everyone, For several months, I have been trying to determine the meaning of this error and identify which mod it originates from. I have no custom career mods, yet I continue to receive a Last Exception, and despite my efforts, I cannot pinpoint the cause. Does anyone know which mod might be responsible for this error? Mod issues after April16, 2026 update
I'm having issues after updating my Sims. I was able to turn on the check mark for the script mods and cc but once I tried recopening the game I keep getting a popup that says Unable to start: Cannot start bc the below file appears to be corrupted. if this file is a mod please remove it and try again. If not please repair or reimstall the game via Origin. Basically saying my mods are bad and out of date. It didnt go away even when I only had updated mods on the folders. All the popular ones arent working, MCC, Basemental, Pandasama, **bleep**, and others. I recently moved my mods and cc to an external SSD but I dont think thats the issue because I was able to open the game once. I repaired it and that didnt do anything. For reference I'm using a Mac. Im so confused I update my mods and cc religously. I've removed more than half of my mods already idk what to do. Pls any advice Im freaking out.Duplicate Folder Appearing and Saved Game Won't Show
**SORT OF FIXED** Hi! I've been trying to consult other discussions on here to sort this out but I haven't been able to find anything specific enough to my problem. I have two script mods downloaded, MCCC and WW, and the romance bar in game wasn't showing up by itself. My Sims would have the plus heart icon, but no romance bar to go with. So, naturally, I looked at existing discussions on here and after tweaking the settings for both WW and MCCC I decided to get rid of MCCC completely. My game didn't like that. On opening the Sims, I realised that my saved games are gone, there is no load game button, just an option for a new game. I didn't upload my household to my gallery before this happened so I really hope it hasn't deleted somehow. I haven't tried running the actual game yet, but I am also suddenly getting the "graphics card not recognised" pop up every time when entering. I was looking at the game files to try to work out what was going on, and I noticed that there is a duplicate Sims 4 folder that won't. go. away. No matter how many times I delete it, it shows back up in my EA folder with a different amount of files in it each time. It doesn't have any of my mods in the folder, and it says it was created last night, around the same time that I removed MCCC, but other than that I'm not sure about the other differences in folders. I've tried pausing OneDrive syncing and it showed back up in my EA folder. I also copied my MCCC files into a different folder in case I wanted to reintroduce them, so I don't know if this issue is me removing something I shouldn't have done. The weird Sims 4: The normal Sims 4 files: This is the separate folder I made with the MCCC files I removed: Okay so I was trying to get a screenshot in game for the no "Load Game" option and it's seemingly fixed itself. This is so weird. The unrecognised graphics card pop up has gone, it's showing which mods I have like normal and my game is seemingly back. I checked my folder and the good (or now bad) Sims 4 folder hasn't synced to OneDrive (as I turned it off for now) but the weird Sims folder has. Does this mean that the og folder is bad and the weird one is good? What on earth is going on. Is my game still okay to play with and would I be able to turn syncing back on? After all that the og problem didn't even fix itself. The romance bar is still not showing. Any help anyone could provide for understanding all this would be greatly appreciated. I'm more and more confused just reading what I've written. Thanks!!
modded ts4 repeatedly crashing my laptop since last year :(
hi everyone! since last november, my sims 4 game has been freezing at random moments, then crashing my entire laptop. just today, it has crashed 6 times. it also takes forever to load in. i've repeatedly updated my mods/cc. i've 50/50'ed my folder. i've organized everything with the help of mod manager. i've done batch fixes. i've taken out everything except for what i need for my save. when i remove my mods folder, the game loads quickly, but i don't play it long enough to see if it crashes. i definitely suspect it's some cc, but when i put it back and 50/50, nothing happens? i'm so confused. does anyone have any suggestions on how to finally figure out what's going on?
PLEASE HELP! game keeps crashing after exiting CAS
current game version: 1.121.372.1220 playing on a mac desktop that hasn’t been updated due to storage if that matters lol. tons of cc & mods, about 10,000 files/packages im new to playing on pc/mac & cc, mods etc. any mod thats free to download i pretty much have installed in my game lol. hi, im currently playing offline due to people saying the new update(s) caused issues so since the feb/march update i have been playing offline. but about 2 days ago i got a notification while playing saying to “log back in” because the ea app no longer recognizes me so i was forced to update the EA app. i, again, didn’t update the sims 4 game so i just continued playing offline. i was fine playing up until i’d say 11:30 pm april 17 to today (1 am currently). i was in CAS just fine, added a shirt to my sim then exited CAS just fine. then i downloaded chingyu’s 100 traits mod, loaded my game late yesterday, went into CAS & added some traits to the current household i was playing with. exited CAS where my game then crashed. i figured it was the chingyu mod (people said their game was working fine so i decided to try..) so i removed it & downloaded a mod from a different creator (traits mod by klimter & maplebell also morekisses mod by maplebell) did the same thing, went into CAS, left then crash. removed all of those new mods i downloaded & the same thing happened :( i really dread having to do the 50/50 mod especially now that i have over 10k files of mods & cc. if i do then so be it. but i genuinely don’t know what the issue is. i also got a LE each time i loaded into that save “Server\objects\components\fishing_location_component.py” i have no idea what that means. no broken mods were listed nor did it say why & what mod or cc caused it, if it did i again dont know how to read it. :( struggling trying to understand the LE texts & cant send these problems into any discord server due to “outdated game version” which is understandable, but again theres been issues with the recent update & i haven’t updated my mods since the feb or march update. if i need to send the lastcrash.txt, gameversion or any LE scripts please let me know! if anyone knows what causes this or why its crashing please help!!! any help would be appreciated!! thank u in advance. <3Issues with April 16 2026 Patch Update
