My sims are rapidly skilling
So I installed the game four days ago for the first time on pc, I have mccc, harder relationships, harder careers, **bleep**, realistic childbirth mod, education overhaul and some custom content for toddlers and adult sims such as skins and toddler toys, and I’ve found that after tinkering with mccc and despite deleting my old settings and reconfiguring, my sims still gain skills way too fast. for example I have a toddler sim who is movement level 4 despite me only playing for three sim days, I have testing cheats on and otherwise have no idea what could be causing this, it’s very upsetting as I play with a 587 day lifespan and want to have a slower game pace but everything I do seems to make it worse.
Endless loading
My game will load into the open screen then when I pick my household it will either endlessly load or it will load and I can pick where my sim lives then it will endlessly load I can't do anything and my mods aren't working I've updated everything too many times to count and it's still giving me problems.
Game crashes when I try to load mods through an external hard drive.
Because of my laptop's limited space, I have the game itself downloaded on an external hard drive, and I have followed a tutorial to link my mods folder to the same external hard drive as well. I've made sure the main game folder and the mods folder are not combined at all. In the past, I had the game downloaded through Steam, and this wasn't an issue for awhile, until the game started to crash even if I only had very few mods in the mods folder. After I deleted Sims 4 through Steam, I swapped to the EA app, and the issue still occurred. I have gone through my mods and deleted anything that could be corrupted or out of date, I have redone the tutorial to link my mods folder multiple times, I've refreshed the cache to my game and even repaired it multiple times as well. I've done a full reset, and nothing works. All script mods have been updated or removed. The game works fine when there are no mods installed, and the game still works if I don't have the mods folder linked to the external hard drive; mods do show up when the folder isn't linked. Any help would be really appreciated, as I've been struggling with this for a few months now. Thank you.Problèmes avec des mod depuis la mise à jour août 2025
J'ai fait la mise à jour du jeu et après des soucis pour lancer le jeu. Du coup, j'ai désinstallé tous mes Mods et Objets pour remettre à fur et à mesure pour voir ceux qui posait le souci. Il s'avère que c'est le mod santé des enfants et private practice. Avant la mise à jour, je les utilisé pourtant régulièrement. Savez vous comment régler ce beug svp?
I can't find the broken mods
Does anyone know of any mods that are definitely broken after the August 19th update? I use the mod manager, but it doesn't tell me which mods have updates available. I'm playing without the mods that have scripts, but this way, the game is boring and useless. I appreciate anyone who can help me.
Can't travel home at end of date at Cantina “El Árbol del Jaguar”
My Sim often gets asked on a date to Cantina “El Árbol del Jaguar” At the end of the date, I try to travel home instead of clicking the "Go Home" button on my Sim, but am not able to choose any Residential World due to a message stating I cannot because I am on vacation. I understand this is probably done to handle being able to go to a destination in a Vacation World, but my Sim is not actually on Vacation, I was asked on a date to a Vacation World destination, so I should only be allowed to travel to Residential World at the end of the date to Cantina “El Árbol del Jaguar” when I started from a Residential World. If I was on Vacation when I went on a date, I would expect to only be able to travel to the Vacation World destinations.Deleted everything and still won’t play with new update
I deleted all my saved files and mods and tried to make a random sim and save. Let me go to worlds select a house but doesn’t allow me to go inside with the sim. Instead it takes me back to the worlds screen with a picture of my sim on the world they live in. Then I click the world my sim is in and click the house they live in and it loads and brings me back to the screen with the worlds and destinations. I have tried this with mods and without and it’s not playable. Only started with this new update!

The following of my mods need to be updated: Neighborhood Stories: Marriage (+Suggest Getting Married Interaction) Funeral Service Event Boarding Stable Lot Trait (NPC Horses at Your Lots) Better Pet Hangouts (plus Stray Adoption) Ask to Invite Family Member Interaction Please get the latest version of these mods from CurseForge. Older versions will lead to the "getting sent back to world selection" problem.
