Game won't load
My game won't load, basically. When I click the play button it opens and gets to the loading plumbob screen, but then right before it takes me to the main menu the music stops playing and the game crashes, sending me back to the EA app. I just updated my game today, also. And I removed my mods folder and started the game up again to see if that was the issue, but it did the same exact thing, so I don't think the problem lies there, but here is my dxdiag:
Can't play in live mode
after making my sim and moving her into a san myshuno apartment, i clicked play on my household, but then my game just loaded and i was transported back onto the residential world and I have no idea why. it's really annoying and i just want to be able to play my game in peace.
CAS not loading from gameplay
I want to edit my sims in CAS but it gets stuck on the loading screen and I have to constantly turn my laptop off and back on again and it’s making the game basically unplayable. It will just have the Plumbob spinning for over 15 minutes before I eventually give up and turn the whole thing off. I’ve updated all of my mods but it’s still happening. How do I fix this because CAS is a huge part of gameplay for me and without it the game is pretty much useless
Stuck on loading and kicked out while editing sim
My computer is up to date, and the mods I use are updated. Before I went to repair my Sims 4, everything was working fine till I went into CAS to edit my sim, and when I was done, it would kick me out. Now that I uninstalled the sims, took everything out, then back in when finished. I loaded up the game and now the Loading screen resuming game. It take so long and I have to Force Stop My Game through Task Manager. I am trying to do the 50/50 method but the loading screen won't let me as it gets stuck. My Pc is NZXT and My graphics is up to date as well. What can it be?
Event rewards disappear
I completed the blast from the past event, but whenever I delete any cache files, all of the rewards disappear from my game. At first, restoring the old cache files restored the rewards, but now even that's not working. I haven't touched my "accountDataDB.package" file which I was told is where all the rewards are stored. However, support told me that it was changed so my rewards are stored in my account, not any files. Troubleshooting beforehand: I just checked again with no mods and cc, and the rewards are there. But then I tried removing only my mods and then only my cc, and they disappear with both. it seems like something about having a modded game is conflicting with the rewards, even though I haven't changed anything about my mods folder and it was working fine when I was playing earlier the same day of the bug (yesterday). I tired to create a new sims 4 folder and the rewards came back, but when I tried to add back my tray and saves, they disappeared. So I removed my saves and tray and they are still gone.
