FC24 on the Switch 2 has no way to turn off voice chat?!
Just got a Switch 2 and tried EA FC 24 on it with a friend online who owns a Switch 1 and plays it on there. For anyone that doesn't know, the Switch 2 has a built in microphone on the console and when I joined their online friendlies room my voice started playing through their TV through the in game voice chat. I thought it was a bit creepy as I don't recall ever giving the game permission to use a microphone. I've also been looking through the settings and I can't seem to turn it off because obviously the Switch 1 didn't have a built in microphone. My best guess is that since the Switch 2 has a microphone, it recognises that voice chat could be enabled but since it's a Switch 1 game cartridge, and the Switch 1 didn't have a microphone, they didn't program in any settings to enable/disable voice chat so it's stuck to always being on. As the title states, I cannot play any online modes due to this technical bug. I now can’t play any of my champs games, squad battles, etc in FUT and cannot play pro clubs. I am not losing out on so many rewards and cannot get my pro clubs team to the elite division for playoffs. (We are currently in first division promo matches). I am told by support they have no fix for this. This is shameful EA and seriously detrimental to my fc 25 enjoyment. Hi, I'm trying to play EA FC24 online on Xbox Cloud Gaming but I always get the following error: You have lost your online connection. Check your home network. You will not be able to access FC's online features until you can reconnect to EA Servers. Go to ea.com/unable-to-connect to find out more. Some things that I already tried to fix the problem: - Tested on my desktop PC using Chrome, Edge, Firefox. Tried using Wi-Fi connection and ethernet cable on my home network, and tried to use my mobile phone network. None of them worked. - Tried on my work laptop using Chrome and my home network via Wi-Fi connection, and using my mobile phone network. None of them worked either. - Tried using my own laptop using Chrome and my girlfriend's house connection via Wi-Fi connection, and it worked, so I brought my own laptop back home and tried to play on my home network, worked for some matches and then after closing the game, I tried to play again after some hours, and got the same error now. - Tried on my mobile phone (Xiaomi Poco X4 Pro on Android 13) using my home network and the carrier network, both of them worked flawless. I get following error when playing FC 24 on XCloud 'Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your network connection'. I cannot change any network settings because I don't have access to it and it uses the network of the servers of Xbox which could not be the problem because other XCloud users can play online. Hello, I just wanted to play Fc 24 on Xbox Cloud Gaming but When i wanted to go to UT a error message was there and it said: “You have lost your online connection.
