Ultimate Team Squad changes not saving communication error kicks me back to menu
I am experiencing a serious issue in EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team on PlayStation 5. I can play matches normally, but whenever I try to change a player in my squad and leave Ultimate Team or try to start a match, I get the message: “An error occurred during communication with Ultimate Team” or “connection to Ultimate Team lost”. After that, I get kicked back to the main menu and all squad changes are not saved. My team resets to the previous state every time. What I already tried: Restarting the game Restarting the PS5 Checking internet connection Waiting and trying again later Nothing fixes the issue. Hello everyone. I’m experiencing a very strange Ultimate Team issue and after almost 20 hours I still have no solution. I was previously playing EA FC through the Showcase version without major problems. Recently, I purchased Game Pass and started using the full trial/full game version included with it. Since then, I have been completely unable to access Ultimate Team on my main account. Important details: - I CAN access every other game mode normally. - Kick Off, Career Mode, Clubs, etc. all work fine. - ONLY Ultimate Team fails to load/access. - I can log into the Web App and Companion App without problems. - I can complete SBCs, buy/sell players, and manage my club there normally. - Another Xbox profile on the SAME console and SAME internet connection can enter Ultimate Team perfectly. Things I already tried: - Reinstalling the game - Clearing cache - Restarting router/console - Deleting reserved data - Using different DNS - Waiting several hours - Contacting EA Support EA Support only sent generic troubleshooting articles, but none of the solutions worked. At this point, it really seems like an account-related UT synchronization issue rather than a console or internet problem. I have been playing EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team Champions for almost 4 months and every single week I struggle to get past 7 wins, despite spending a lot of time improving my team and gameplay. I have invested more than £600 into this game through FC Points and packs, but the gameplay experience often feels extremely inconsistent and unfair. I constantly experience issues such as: random disconnects gameplay freezing delayed player reactions passes being intercepted unrealistically defenders not reacting correctly players feeling out of position gameplay changing completely from one day to another Sometimes the game feels smooth, but many times it becomes almost impossible to compete normally in Champions. Since yesterday, gameplay in Champions feels completely different. My players feel delayed and out of position. Passes are weak or intercepted instantly. Defenders do not react properly during crosses and corners. Opponents seem to pressure perfectly while my team stays spread apart. I have experienced this for many matches in a row. An opponent left in the 90th minute. After he left, the screen went blurry and I was able to control his players. The match ended after time ran out and now it just shows the cinematic camera around the pitch, but no after match options are popping up. In the ea fc 26 settings I’ve got both stadium and player shadows off for when I go into a game. Now every few games it somehow turns back on again and is very distracting. P.S I’m elite division and it really distracted me and caused me to go down in skill rating. also I tried turning both player and stadium shadows off and yet it still show the shadows.7Views0likes0Comments
