Weird visual bug with shimmering animations
Has anyone had an issue like this? It's easiest to replicate with dummy spawn and despawn animations, but other effects also trigger it (Banga smoke, the electrified effect on bullets of Rampart's wall). It's most jarring with R99 and CAR ironsight since the dot turns into 3 and it looks really blurry. I am on Steam. I use AMD Image Sharpening and Anti Lag (I tried disabling both but nothing changed). I am running RX580, Ryzen 5 2600, 32GB and I have tried both Windows 10 and 11, no difference between them. These scope artefacts started happening when this season 25 dropped if I recall correctly. R5 Reloaded doesn't have any issues nor do any other games I play, only Apex. I've just reinstalled my OS couple of days ago and I tried running Apex with every single setting in both Windows and BIOS at default, and nothing changed. These shimmering animations break my crosshair and make it so hard to track enemies when they're a bit further. Btw for some reason TAA 'fixes' it, I can't play game with TAA enabled, no chance, but all of these animations work correctly with it enabled. On top of all default settings I tried the driver from 2022 and the latest one 25.8.1, no difference between them either.38Views2likes3CommentsApeal

Platform: PC – EA APP Legend: Mirage (but the issue is not legend-specific) Game Mode: Battle Royale / Ranked Description: There is a collision issue on one of the metal stairs located near Hammond Labs on Olympus. When approaching the stairs from the front-left side, the player hits an invisible collision. It feels like there is a second “ghost” collision in front of the visible stair model. This blocks movement and prevents the player from climbing normally. How to Reproduce: 1.Go to Hammond Labs on Olympus. 2.Approach the metal stairs shown in the attached screenshot. 3.Walk forward toward the left side of the stair. 4.The player gets blocked by an invisible collision and cannot step up properly. Expected Result: The player should be able to walk up the stair smoothly. Actual Result: The player is blocked by an invisible collision in front of the stair. My Apex account has locked a character I have already unlocked and played many games with. MAD Maggie. I want to unlock her without spending more in game currency on it. I already paid it and played woth her. How do I get someone to help restore that?[Crash]The game causes my PC to crash and freeze.
In my environment, the game freezes within minutes of starting and becomes unresponsive to PC controls. The only way to restore normal operation is to force a restart using the physical power button. No other games experience crashes or freezes. This issue occurs 100% of the time upon entering the field. I have confirmed that the issue invariably occurs in the shooting range. Note that when the game crashes, the screen does not refresh, and no blue screen or similar error is displayed. I have attempted several workarounds, but the issue recurs in all cases. I believe the system requirements are met, but if there are any other verification methods or a checklist, please advise. [Environment] OS: Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (Build 26200.7171) CPU: Intel Core i7-10700F Mem: 32GB (8GB x 4) GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 Super Apex Legends (Build ID in Steam): 20869454 [Already attempted] -> None of these resolved the issue - Rolling back the graphics driver - Changing the graphics card - Changing the game's installation storage location - Disabling VT-x in the BIOS - Replacing the power supply unit - Testing each memory module individually - Reinstalling the OS I hope this issue can be resolved as soon as possible.6Views0likes0Comments
