Softlock MEGA THREAD
we've seen a lot of reports on getting softlocked in various points - the Isle of Grom Tutorial, various Missions and/or Challenges. the Full Circle team are working to indentify the cause of the issues and get a fix out as soon as possible, but we need some info. please reply to this thread if you're softlocked (can't complete a Mission, Challenge, or the tutorial) with the following info: Platform What MIssion/Challenge? If Mission, what step in the Mission? Username you're playing with (Gamertag, PSN ID, or EA ID - no emails. [BUG] Blocked in infinite LOOP in Tutorial
Description of the issue: I'm blocked in a infinite loop in tutorial. Not possible to walking or doing any move. I'm completely blocked and no way out. The loop is (watch the video in attachment for more information): She keeps talking She displays the map She closes the map instantly She repeate the same sentence as step 1 She displays the map She closes the map instantly etc... etc... The loop is repeating infinite time. Steps to trigger/reproduce the issue: I have no idea. I just played the game and reached this point. The game started to bug by itself. As the team continues to work on various softlock issues, they have identified a fix for being stuck on Isle of Grom. This fix was rolled out with update 0.27.7, however, for those stuck it may not have retroactively fixed the issue. Overnight (Oct 8), a fix was pushed for those still stuck on Isle of Grom and we've seen reports of players logging in and being automatically pushed to San Vansterdam. If you still stuck on the Island after completing the tutorial (Ferry won't show up), please post the following: Platform Username in-game Other softlock issues will be moved/removed. I update and log into skate yesterday for the new season and have to redo to whole tutorial again just to then see literally ALL of my progress and clothes are gone. EA I’ve spent money on your game just for all of my items to be gone. There has got to be a way for you to fix thisStuck in a tutorial voice tip loop. Cannot play the game or exit the tip
I am currently stuck in an endless loop that is preventing me from playing the game. I have tried to restart, uninstall, and exit the tutorial tip multiple times and nothing works. Launching the game immediately loads me back into the same loop and prevents me from exiting or playing the actual game. The voice tip that I’m looping on says “I’ll also keep it up to date with new challenges, tours, and other helpful things for finding your way around.” Any advice on how to get past this would be awesome as I’m really looking forward to playing the game. Session Marker in Fakie/Switch puts you in the wrong direction.
You can easily repeat this bug by doing: Get on your board Skate forward Revert to fakie/switch Hold up to set a session marker. Skate forward Tap up to travel back to the session marker. You're now facing the opposite direction you were facing when placing the marker (i.e. the front of the board originally). Presumably something to do with the fact you're technically travelling backwards. I dont know if it makes a difference, but I play with Hold Fakie Stance and Hold Fakie Push set to on. Because of this bug, there's no simple way to stay in fakie/switch and start a line. I've attached a vid demoing it (just from the ingame vid editor so no hud sorry, but should be fairly obvious when I'm travelling/setting the marker)
Random people keep getting brought into my co-op challenges
Whenever I have done a co-op challenge in season two it always brings random people into it every time and causes a ton of issues, such as an error after the challenge is completed, booting me out and leaving me with no rewards sometimes. It makes co-op challenges entirely unplayable, and I am unable to complete the co-op bonuses normally and consistently and it's keeping me from earning tickets.
[URGENT] Stuck Cam Bug
Cam gets stuck looking down and never adjusts to normal vertical level after using any vertical surface. This bug has existed since launch and makes vert unplayable. Happens at 0 or 10 vertical cam follow strength. Attached video is at 10 vertical follow strength. As you can see, it's not working. PLEASE LET US SET A DEFAULT ON-BOARD CAMERA ANGLE! The vertical angle always changes, even using ramps and getting air. It never resets to the proper angle and causes me to not be able to see. It's always either too high or too low. PLEASE put this at the top of your list for bug fixes. Thanks.
