Player Career Mode Bug – Incorrect Overall Rating & More
I’m experiencing a major issue in Player Career Mode in EA FC 25. My player's overall rating, skill points, and physical attributes are completely broken, and I’ve seen many other players on the EA forums reporting the same problem. Main Issues: Incorrect Overall Rating: My player’s overall rating keeps changing randomly. Sometimes it shows 71 OVR, but after editing my player, it drops to 64 OVR. In the top-right corner, I briefly see that my player should be 90 OVR, but then it glitches back to 64 OVR or 71 OVR. Skill Points Not Applying: Even though I assign skill points, my player’s attributes don’t increase at all. The upgrades simply don’t work. Height and Weight Not Updating: My player is stuck at 181 cm and 55 kg. Whenever I try to change these values, they either stay the same or cause my overall rating to drop even more. Additional Details: I’m already in my third season, and this issue makes Player Career Mode completely unplayable. At this point, playing is no longer fun because progression is broken. EA needs to fix this issue instead of ignoring it. Many players are experiencing the same problem, and we deserve a response and a patch. This is a serious bug that ruins the game mode, and I hope EA acknowledges it and provides a solution !1.5KViews8likes3CommentsEAFC26 Career Mode Wishlist

I do not support the inclusion of women’s football in Career Mode — especially not in the men’s youth academy. This feature ruins the authenticity and realism of the game and completely kills the immersion for players like me. We bought this game to enjoy a realistic football management experience, not to be part of a forced diversity agenda. You’re pushing features that your core community never asked for, and worse, you’re not even giving us the option to turn them off. That’s disrespectful to your loyal players. This isn’t about hate. It’s about choice. If you want to include women’s football, fine — make it separate and optional. Forcing it into the core gameplay of men’s career mode is unacceptable. If this continues in FC 26, it will be the last EA football game I ever buy. Sincerely, [A player who’s had enough]251Views4likes1CommentHigh School Career Mode - Please Consider!
Title: High School Career Mode - Please Consider! Hello EA Team, I’m a football fan and a longtime FC player from Japan. I would like to propose a new mode that can bring even more immersion and dreams to the game: 🏫 High School Career Mode 🎓 In this mode, players begin their journey as high school footballers. Depending on the country (Japan, USA, Germany, Brazil, etc.), the player follows local development systems (school clubs, college football, youth academies). Through performance and growth, they can get scouted by professional teams or universities. Key Features: - Country-based youth career paths - Dynamic performance → scout attention & path changes - Social media simulation to gain attention - Personality types (hard worker, prodigy, late bloomer) - Realistic road to pro football This would allow users to connect deeply with the game from the very start of their football journey. I hope EA can consider this for future updates! Thank you.37Views3likes2CommentsCareer Through Time
Suggestion for EA Sports FC – “Career Through Time” Mode Hello EA Team, My name is Marcus Petersen, and I’ve been a dedicated FIFA player since FIFA 15, with over 7000 hours played. I want to share an idea for the career mode that I believe many fans would love and that would be quite straightforward to implement. The idea: Allow players to start their career mode in previous seasons (for example, 2009/10, 2014/15, 2018/19, etc.) and then play forward through time. Each year, young talents that actually appeared in real life during that season would be added to their authentic clubs (for example, Mbappé at Monaco, Bellingham at Birmingham, Yamal at Barcelona). Player ratings would be based on the year you start your career, and development would progress dynamically based on in-game performance, just like the current career mode. Why it’s simple and smart: EA already has all the data from previous FIFA titles, including players, squads, ratings, and kits from those years. All that’s needed is an option to select a starting season, which loads the correct squads and ratings from that year. New talents can be dynamically added in the season they belong to, rather than generating random AI players. Player development can continue as normal, based on playtime and form, without needing to rework ratings every season. Updating kits and jerseys every year would be nice, but it’s not required for the feature to work. What this achieves: A more authentic and living career mode where players don’t just disappear after a few seasons, and where you can follow the real career progression of talents. The chance to experience and play through football history — for example, starting in 2009 and witnessing Ronaldo, Messi, Benzema, Mbappé, and Yamal develop as time passes. A game mode that appeals both to hardcore and casual fans by combining realism with familiar gameplay. I hope you will consider adding this feature in future editions, such as EA FC 26. Many fans share similar wishes, and I believe this could be a major success since it’s a simple, practical idea that would make career mode feel much more alive. Thank you for your time and the great work you do! Best regards, Marcus Petersen46Views3likes1CommentLimited player creations
Hello EA, Since FIFA 20, I've been creating players to make custom teams to create tournaments with multiple countries, including Algeria, Senegal, Madagascar, etc. But now, with the rule that only a maximum of 50 players can be created, I can't complete my teams. EA, please, can you remove this limit?35Views2likes1CommentIssue with Camera Angle in “In-Game Set Pieces” Training in Player Career Mode
Hello, I am currently playing FC25 in Player Career Mode, and I encountered an issue with the camera during the “In-Game Set Pieces” training drill. When I attempt to take a shot or perform any action in this drill, the camera angle shifts away from my player, making it impossible to see my player and properly complete the training. I would appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this issue.111Views2likes1CommentPlayer Career Mode – AI Assigning Players to Incorrect Positions
Hi EA Support Team, I’ve encountered an issue while playing Player Career Mode with Manchester United. The AI manager consistently assigns players to incorrect positions. For example: Garnacho and Amad Diallo are regularly placed as wing-backs (defensive wide positions), While actual defenders like Dalot, Mizrahi, and Dorgo are not being used in their proper roles. This negatively affects the realism and gameplay experience, as attacking players are being placed in defensive positions where they are ineffective. Steps to reproduce: Start a Player Career Mode with Manchester United. Progress through matches or simulate to match days. Observe team lineups and substitutions. Note that attacking wingers (e.g., Garnacho, Amad) are consistently selected as fullbacks or wingbacks. Expected behavior: The AI should select players in their natural and optimal positions, especially when proper defenders are available in the squad. I'd appreciate a fix in an upcoming update or a workaround in the meantime. Thanks for your support! This is a serious issue on the PS5 version. Match intro videos are back in manager career mode, but still missing in one player career mode. Why is this being ignored? Bring the intros back—it's a huge part of the atmosphere and experience before a match.14Views1like1Comment
