Player Career Mode Bug – Incorrect Overall Rating & More
I’m experiencing a major issue in Player Career Mode in EA FC 25. My player's overall rating, skill points, and physical attributes are completely broken, and I’ve seen many other players on the EA forums reporting the same problem. Main Issues: Incorrect Overall Rating: My player’s overall rating keeps changing randomly. Sometimes it shows 71 OVR, but after editing my player, it drops to 64 OVR. In the top-right corner, I briefly see that my player should be 90 OVR, but then it glitches back to 64 OVR or 71 OVR. Skill Points Not Applying: Even though I assign skill points, my player’s attributes don’t increase at all. The upgrades simply don’t work. Height and Weight Not Updating: My player is stuck at 181 cm and 55 kg. Whenever I try to change these values, they either stay the same or cause my overall rating to drop even more. Additional Details: I’m already in my third season, and this issue makes Player Career Mode completely unplayable. At this point, playing is no longer fun because progression is broken. EA needs to fix this issue instead of ignoring it. Many players are experiencing the same problem, and we deserve a response and a patch. This is a serious bug that ruins the game mode, and I hope EA acknowledges it and provides a solution !2.2KViews9likes3CommentsEAFC26 Career Mode Wishlist

Hello, I simply want to address a long standing issue with a career mode aspect of the game. To put it simple, achieving a 65% personality trait to obtain a playstyle + in player career has deemed somewhat impossible for the “Heartbeat” and “Virtuoso” personality types. A readjustment to the percent total would be highly suggested to being able to achieve those rewards of the game. Possibly 60% being a new and realistic objective to reach. This has been a major issue throughout the release of FC25 game and many in game seasons played. Please consider, thanks.999Views2likes1CommentStop Forcing Women’s Football into Career Mode
I do not support the inclusion of women’s football in Career Mode — especially not in the men’s youth academy. This feature ruins the authenticity and realism of the game and completely kills the immersion for players like me. We bought this game to enjoy a realistic football management experience, not to be part of a forced diversity agenda. You’re pushing features that your core community never asked for, and worse, you’re not even giving us the option to turn them off. That’s disrespectful to your loyal players. This isn’t about hate. It’s about choice. If you want to include women’s football, fine — make it separate and optional. Forcing it into the core gameplay of men’s career mode is unacceptable. If this continues in FC 26, it will be the last EA football game I ever buy. Sincerely, [A player who’s had enough]599Views4likes1Commentfix ballon dor in fc 26
Hi EA team, I’ve been playing Player Career Mode in FC 26 and just had the season of a lifetime: Club: Borussia Dortmund Season stats: 91 goals scored across all competitions Trophies: Won the treble (league, domestic cup, Champions League) Player OVR: 79 Despite this, my player was not even seriously considered for the Ballon d’Or. Instead, it went to a 90+ rated AI player with much lower stats and fewer trophies. This feels really unfair and takes away from the immersion of Career Mode. In real football, a season like this would guarantee a Ballon d’Or. The award system seems to prioritize overall rating far more than actual performances and achievements. Suggested improvements: Make goals, assists, and trophies weigh more heavily than OVR in the Ballon d’Or algorithm. Allow lower-rated players who massively outperform top stars to actually win. Improve transparency so we know what matters most for awards. Career Mode is at its best when it feels authentic and rewarding. Right now, the Ballon d’Or logic doesn’t reflect that. Please consider adjusting it in a future patch/update. Thanks for reading and for continuing to improve the game.500Views1like1CommentPlayer career midfielder playstyles
Why is it that the relentless playstyle is not available for use when playing as a midfielder in player career mode? It is the most logical position to put it in. Yet it is only found when you play as a striker, where it is basically useless. As a striker you only really need to burn stamina when the ball is in the attacking 3rd so you can play quite easily without it. Yet as any form of midfielder it would be immensely useful because you are ALWAYS moving wherever the ball may be. It just seems completely illogical to me. It was the same in FC24 aswell. By the second half of any match, regardless of how many points i have in stamina, I'm nearly always out of it which makes the second half immensely boring. Just make it the way it is in clubs where you can literally choose whichever ones you want. I can almost gauruntee that would get more people into playing the player career mode. Take notes from game studios like rebellion and turn 10 who actually LISTEN to their playerbase and make some changes.407Views1like0CommentsFIX PLAYER CAREER MODE
I know not many people play this mode, but as someone who does, I am pretty disappointed with it. Firstly, gameplay wise the AI is terrible. Passes are not good enough, and player IQ is just in the gutter. Both the AIs on each team are great going forward, and a lot of matches tend to be really dry. Make the AI more threatening attacking-wise, with better offensive awareness. Also, the archetype system does not suit this mode. For Clubs, sure, it makes sense. But for this mode, the restrictions just make no sense to be part of an offline mode. For example, if I want to be a 6'3" midfielder, I need to be the recycler archetype. What if I wanna be a maestro but also be 6'3"? It is really limiting, and in an offline game mode, it makes ZERO sense to limit players as if it were clubs. Also, not being able to change height or position or weight after starting is poor as well. Why are we given fewer features than in previous games? Also, the personality system is not great. The last few years it took so long to get a playstyle plus. Now it'll be nearly impossible because training sessions do not give personality points. I was hoping a feature would be added where players could choose whatever playstyle they wanted; they just needed a specific overall. This is much better because players actually get to choose from the pool of playstyles which suit them most. Go back to the skill tree and seriously tweak or remove the personality system. Player progression is so slow this year, too. Even when I selected to have a head start on points, I still did not crack 80 by the end of the first season. I have not been called up to the national team despite having crazy GA and winning trophies as well. Makes no sense again. This year player career feels so much like clubs in terms of gameplay and also with all the features and extra stuff. It's probably not going to be fixed, but I am disappointed with how it has rolled out this year.399Views2likes2CommentsHypermotion on PS4
Hello EA Sports, I really enjoy playing EA Sports FC 25 and it was really nice to have, and the gameplay is really good, but I think they could add Hypermotion on the PS4, from my perspective and from the perspective of many people would be very good because I think people would appreciate the game more and more, and I also think there would be more people who could buy the game just because of the magic that Hypermotion brings to the game.I hope this can change the game, because the game is very interesting, I hope they can change it. And all the best to Please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻375Views1like0CommentsFace scan

🎮 EA Sports FC 26 Feedback – Player Career Mode Task System Issue: In Player Career Mode, the task selection screen does not clearly show which personality trait (Maverick / Heartbeat / Virtuoso) will develop. The color indicators are unclear, so players often choose tasks without knowing their effect. As a result, the personality progression becomes unbalanced, and most of the time the system forces the player into “Maverick” points unintentionally. Requests: Make the personality indicators consistent and clear (e.g., Maverick = red, Heartbeat = blue, Virtuoso = green). Show explicitly on each task which personality trait will be affected. Allow more balanced and player-controlled personality progression. Improve the tasks by reducing repetitive ones and adding more realistic, diverse objectives. Expected Impact: Players can steer their personality development as intended. The system will feel fairer, clearer, and more immersive. Player Career Mode will become a much more satisfying and realistic experience.300Views1like0Comments
