In my 4th year and Captaincy disappeared
I’m in my 4th year in Be A Pro, and playing on Pro settings. , At the beginning of the year, I was made captain. In year 3, our team won the Stanley Cup and I was MVP of the league. I also got a max contact over 13 Million a year. In the 35th game of the 4th season, I noticed that the C was removed. I read in other discussions that people were awarded the captaincy in the first year due to Teammate and Mgmt being maxed, but that is not the case with me. We are currently in first place in our division, and I am leading the team in points and goals so poor performance is not the case. Any ideas or any fixes to get back the Captaincy. I checked and there is no “discussion with the coach/manager” to get it back. Thanks[VIDEO EVIDENCE] Spotlight Set Bug: Assets Failed to Load Before Expiration
I am reporting a critical "Server/Client Sync" bug that caused me to lose a Master Set Player I had earned. The Issue: In the final minutes of the Spotlight event, I had earned all required collectibles. However, the Set menu refused to recognize them. The "Cards Available" count would not update, and the "Auto-Fill" feature failed to find the assets that were clearly in my collection. Hi EA. There is a lasting bug that I know of since Chel 24. When playing offline 1v1 Threes against someone beside you on the same console and you try to sub out a player, there is a higher than 50% chance that the player does not switch out. Between periods, when hovering an active player, Pressing Square/X to quick Sub with one of the two players on the bench, there is a very high change that the requested switch does not occur, the original player will stay on the ice. There is slightly more success if pressing X/A to scroll to the player you want to sub. Sometimes the intro/animation of the player coming in will happen, but its not actually them and the original player is still on the ice. When the period ends and you're back into the selection page, the subbed player will be showing as in the game, but they are not. Its essentially impossible to change any player after that as everyone is (a majority of the time) soft locked into playing no matter how many times you sub him out by either doing the Square/X method or the X/A method. This is extremely frustrating to play with. Subbing your players during intermissions basically DOES NOT work (a lot of the time, not every time)."content updating" bug-gameplay is significantly impacted
HUT "Content Updating" bug-for 3 weeks now my game has popped up a "content updating" message going into any game, any store menu, and set screen, in settings it shows "new version available" but clicking does nothing except pop up the same content updating message. i've deleted and reinstalled the game, cleared ps5 cache, tried restoring license. my players stamina dies instantly, my goalie does not move on any deke move, skaters have their "ankles broken" every stop/start, every loose puck ends up back on opponents sticks, goalie will not tie up a loose puck in front of net.Last 3 spotlight collectibles won't load properly in the inbox
I'm not trying to lose these last 3 collectibles because of the broken sets or animations. There needs to be a serious uptick in the quality of work performed at EA sports NHL. This shouldnt be happening still 4 months in to the game cycle. Attached a video to see but like seriously boys, you guys gotta do better.
BAP active purchases BROKEN (BUG won't allow you to move forward!)
Appreciate the 12/1/ 2025 update however: In BAP if you go overbudget on purchases that last more than 30 days, you can't exit the purchase screen and you can't deactivate. This means YOU CAN NO LONGER PLAY BAP. What happens is: User purchases something they CAN afford and either sets to auto or manual renew Based on budget provided, user runs out of funds for items purchased Upon playing or simming until next renewal, user is asked to deactivate items over budget If the item goes past the renewal period, the user can neither deactivate the purchase nor move past the screen In effect the user can no longer use this BAP save (unless the bug is fixed) Playstation 5, up to date
BAP - Line Change triggering when I shoot
This does not happen every time but I am adding here for reference and check to see if others have seen same issue. Sometimes when I am playing BAP and I am shooting, the game seems to think I hit the line change button and automatically skates me off the ice. It happens more frequently when I do a one-timer shot. This only happens on my PS5 and not my Xbox. I have seen some references on Reddit where it happens to others.
