PS5 Sensitivity Discrepancies/ Input Lag feeling.

I've been playing the game for a while. Since quite a while (couple of updates back) my sensitivity and the overall aiming feel has been feeling very inconsistent in console (ps5). It feels like frames are secretly dropping when playing conquest for example and that I can't build muscle memory.

I've recently jumped on casual breakthrough just to warm up and couldn't help but notice that the controller felt awesome them, the same goes with Battlefield Labs sessions, I feel like I don't get the same motion sickness from turning the camera around and that it's much easier to stay on target ( not only against bots in case you were asking)

I'm playing on Performance Mode with a 4K monitor and hdmi 2.1 and VRR on. The main differences between Live Modes vs Battlefield Labs Sessions or Casual Breakthrough are:

- Aim Assist feels super consistent and aim is overall more centered
-Sensitivities, even the higher values feel very controllable and manageable
-Switching from target to target, doing flicks etc. is also more manageable in comparison to live modes, where you feel like the aim assist is either too much, or non existent at all.

I've tried to clear cache and rebuild database on PS5, play with wired and WiFi connection, lower aim assist values and mess with settings, turn VRR off etc. but nothing would help.

Is there anything else I could try or do you have any suggestion? It's hard to showcase this issue unless you play and test it yourself.

  • Yep, game feels really rough and wonky.

  • I´m playing on Pc but I had to reduce the sensitivity today. It was laggy and felt like Mouseacceleration was turned on.
