Mass False Bans for “Balance Transfer” on PC
Throwback to 24.12.25, when EA’s automated detection system flagged thousands of PlayStation accounts for “balance transfer.” After 8–10 hours, they fixed the issue and unbanned everyone with a single click. Everyone thought the problem was resolved, the Wildcards promo continued, and the money kept flowing. Now, three weeks later, guess what’s happening on PC? Exactly the same thing that happened on Christmas Eve. Multiple accounts in my community have been banned over the span of just two days. Casual players, traders — you name it. I even tested the issue myself by hopping onto unused accounts, trading a few cards, and playing a couple of Rivals games. And guess what? After about 10 hours of normal gameplay, I got banned for literally no reason. We didn’t sell coins. Most of us didn’t use any external web app add-ons or bots. Just regular Weekend League gameplay with some trading on the side to improve our teams — literally using the in-game market as intended. My friends and I did some research to figure out what might have caused this. We reviewed the cards we bought and sold, as well as our profits and losses. Across all 14 accounts, there was exactly one common card purchased on every single account: Ibanez Winter Wildcard. The point of this post is to make this issue public and hopefully get it noticed by someone at EA. Many people have lost their time, money, and nerves. EA Help’s policy is based almost entirely on automated responses, so when you try to appeal a ban, you’re stuck resending the same message only to get rejected by a bot 24 hours later. It’s incredibly frustrating. I've already made a post on Reddit and X both got quite a big attention, but still no action by EA. So please, if you’re in the same situation, upvote this post. Hello, I would like to report a critical bug I encountered in EA FC 26 Career Mode (Manager). Issue: I am unable to renew the contract of any player in my club, no matter how many times I try. Details: The issue occurs both when starting a brand-new career and when continuing into later seasons (e.g., 5th year). After some time, players end up leaving the club for very low transfer fees, even if I don’t accept it. This completely breaks the career experience. I recorded a video as an example and attached it here. Platform: PlayStation 5 Game Version: Launch version (the game was just released today) Expected Behavior: I should be able to renew contracts with players in my squad and keep them unless I decide otherwise. Actual Behavior: The game does not allow me to renew contracts at all with any player in the squad, and after some time, players leave for cheap transfer fees without my approval. It’s very clear that this hasn’t been properly tested. Even if this is presented as a “new feature,” it makes no sense that all 32 players in the squad would refuse to renew their contracts. That’s completely unrealistic and ruins the career mode experience. This issue makes Career Mode frustrating. Please fix this as soon as possible, otherwise buying early access feels pointless. Hello! I have been playing since day 1 of early access and I have spent many hours trying to find rush matches to complete the early foundations objectives to unlock the transfer market. Unfortunately, I have not been able to play a single rush match. I have, on a few occasions, found a team, but not an opponent. But most frequently, I can’t even find teammates. I worry the player base is not there for this to be a requirement for such an important feature. I would love for EA to change the requirement, maybe to some Rivals or live friendly matches, that still require a person and helps prevent bots, but doesn’t require a whopping 8 people to match together to play. Hi, I've been a long time players of Fifa/FC. I recently only skipped FC 25 because I was sick of the terrible gameplay - this year it looked like you guys finally got your act together and I was keen to come back, and ordered the ultimate edition. Now, I pre ordered the ultimate edition through steam, I did this so I can get the advantage of being ahead of others, making some investments through the transfer market, etc. What I didn't expect is to have the transfer market locked....I was extremely annoyed to say the least. It took me a day to get through all of objectives to unlock the transfer market, only to be met with another 48 hour restriction upon unlocking it!? This is ridiculous. So not only am I unable to spend my coins on players to improve my team, I can't even make crucial early game investments which is why most people by the ultimate edition to begin with. So im technically 3 days behind other people that pre ordered the exact same thing as me, all because I didn't play FC 25!? This "Fine Print" is nowhere to be seen on the pre order details on steam, nothing that says "If you didnt play FC 25 you will be restricted on the transfer market through objectives and a 48 hour restriction". This is utterly ridiculous. You realise you would have a ton of returning players that skipped FC 25, decided to come back, and are hit with this!? You are going to lose players again. I even contacted support, his screen name was "JV" nice guy, but he couldnt do anything and even sympathized to this issue. So, there's no fine print about this in the pre order information, im behind 3 days now compared to everyone else, my account is not a new one, im not a bot. I genuinely deserve compensation for this, in the form of a refund or compensation of some sort on ultimate team for how much this has put me behind everyone else. Hello EA Support, I cant find any opponents in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team Division Rivals. It keeps saying Searching for opponent and never connects. I already tried everything: restarted router, disabled crossplay, flushed DNS, renewed IP, and checked NAT type but nothing works. I just came back from my night shift and wanted to finish my Division Rivals games before the weekly deadline but I lost all my time because of this issue. I’m sure some of you are aware but Rush matchmaking is completely busted on switch 2 and is required for objectives to unlock the transfer market. THIS ISSUE IS NOT ONLY IN RUSH!!!! Hello EA team, This issue has been ongoing for a long time, especially since you introduced RUSH mode into the game. It may sound complicated, but this is the reality: The problem has gotten much worse since last year, due to the major changes to the pitch size, angles, zoom height (now much higher), and the dynamic camera switching in RUSH. The issue is not only inside RUSH itself, but how the camera settings now affect the general gameplay experience in all other modes like Rivals or Squad Battles. In other words, the pitch changes, dimensions, and camera focus from RUSH also influence other Ultimate Team matches. The biggest factor: the camera. This is visible in player handling, first touch, passing, turning, and body orientation – which suddenly glitch when attacking near the goal. On top of that, gameplay is clearly different when pressing the camera focus button (PS5: touchpad, Xbox: “view/screen” button). Just like in RUSH, it switches focus from player to full pitch. The problem is that this function collides with and damages gameplay in other FUT modes, even when it’s not visually obvious – inputs and outputs change in a very noticeable way. Key observations: Passing and shooting reach: pressing the button alters reach drastically. Long passes: sometimes too short even with high power, or too long after switching focus. Short passes: can either hit a nearby opponent or suddenly fly 20 meters down the pitch. Shooting: Looks like long-distance shots (30–40m) even when standing just 15m from goal. Dribbling: The ball stays further from the foot, easier to lose. Defending: Tackling timing breaks due to “long focus” stretching the pitch. Narrow vs. Long focus: Narrow focus: more responsive short passes, tighter dribbling, tackles feel magnetic. Long focus: smoother look, faster flow, but unresponsive, with exaggerated animations. This creates imbalance: players who use the long focus gain unfair advantages (gliding movement, stronger long shots, faster pass execution). Camera setting collision (important): The collision is not only between RUSH and FUT modes – it also occurs between different in-game camera settings themselves. Switching between “Tele,” “Rush broadcast,” and others causes zoom/focus conflicts. These trigger the same gameplay inconsistencies (passing range, shooting, dribbling, tackling). Players can even meet in matches with different active camera focuses, which makes gameplay unequal. How to reproduce: Play one RUSH match on Rush Broadcast camera. Enter any FUT match (Rivals, Squad Battles, etc.). Use the camera focus button (PS5: touchpad, Xbox: “view/screen”). From here, the glitch activates permanently. Conclusion: The integration of RUSH camera logic into other modes has broken gameplay. It affects balance (passes, shots, dribbling, defending), input/output consistency, and the entire FUT experience. This issue used to be limited to RUSH/Rush Broadcast(and other rush cam's) , but now it extends further due to zoom changes, pitch dynamics, and coding mismatches (e.g., player distance vs. keeper is registered incorrectly). It’s disappointing to see such a core feature left unresolved, and I believe this has already cost EA many players who cannot accept a game that feels this inconsistent.
