EA App fails to connect and will not show any offline messages
Just as the title says. It takes 2 or 3 times to get connected to the app. Once it does, if anyone has left me a offline message, I cannot read it. I can see my side of the conversation, but their side is blank. I did clear the cache, got a fresh download of the app and nothing helped. Friend Online Indicator and notifications not working
I am having an issue with the friends online indicator icon in the EA app. I can be online in the EA app with my friends simultaneously, and the online indicator icon will remain grayed out as if they are offline, it will not show a green icon that they are online in the EA app. I also don't get notifications when my friends logon to the EA app anymore. This behavior carries over to EA games, such as Battlefield 6, when I can't tell if they are online, no green icon and no notifications when they login to the game. However, they can see my online indicator icon and can invite me into a party within a EA game. I can see the friend list though, its just grayed out all the time now whether my friend are online or not. I can't tell anymore.
Friend Request Errors
I am unable to accept or reject friend requests in the EA app. I have checked my privacy settings, logging in and out, restarting the app, app recovery, sending another request after canceling, and reinstalling the app. Myself and my friend are having the same issue. Custom Avatar not Working
I can't upload an image to replace my avatar. I am going into the EA app clicking on "My Profile" then clicking on "Manage". It will then take me to the Account Management web page. When I click on the little pencil button next to my avatar the only option that comes up is "Choose from gallery". There is no "Upload Image" option.Steam Family Stops Split Fiction from being able to be played
For whatever reason (this was not an issue before) launching the steam family version of split fiction would allow me to play the full game and have another person outside of the family able to play with a friends pass. However, now despite owning the full game through steam family, i can no longer access the full game anymore, just the friends pass version. Is there any solution to this?
friends can't see in any of the games, can't send invites to group/lobbies
After being banned for 7 days, when the suspension got lifted none of my friends are able to see me in the ea connect overlay, they cant invite me to their lobbies/groups and they can't accept my invites too. Removing and re-adding them did not solve the issue, after numerous tries of contacting the ''support'' team they are absolutely clueless and keep copy-pasting that I am banned even though it expired and I am able to play. Now I can't even create another ticket, it says "This issue isn't supported by advisors". Can anyone competent take care of this?
