ea app opens but only a navy screen is shown
yesterday i tried to open the EA app for apple products and ran into an issue. The app opens but only a navy screen is shown. I waited forever and it didn’t load or display the typical loading wheel. I tried quitting the app, as well as force-quitting, I also tried restarting my computer a couple times to see if that would fix the issue. I tried switching to offline mode via the account tab at the top, which did work and I was able to successfully open the sims, however when I tried to go back online I was unable to in-game and when I tried to go online in the early app I was met with the loading wheel before returning to the navy screen. This issue was occurring last night, so I left it alone overnight and nothing changed. I want to be able to go back online. Any advice is appreciated, photos attached:
Unreasonable hashtags
I am receiving unreasonable amounts of hashtags during chats on the EA App. For example, telling my friend my dying Aunt wants me to come for Xmas is all hash tagged out. What part of that is dangerous, filthy, sex-oriented, drug-oriented, not age appropriate? I have also had strikes on asking what's for dinner? Please, get it together. If Xmas is sexual, look it up. It's a common abbreviation.
Account status "Invisibile" is not respected cross-platform
When I set my account status to invisible in the EA App, my friends still see me as online on other platforms. I play on PC, but I've noticed friends who are on XBox seeing me as being online despite having set my account to invisible status. They see me pop up as playing a game (like skate. or Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order) while they're playing a game (the same game, but also while they're playing another game like Battlefield 6). I have no idea if they can also see it while they're not in-game. I have tried disabling cross-play settings in-game where possible, but this has no effect. When I set my account to appear as offline, I do it for a reason, and expect this choice to be respected regardless of platform or played game.
Disconnect every 10-20 minutes
App disconnects on pc every 10-20 minutes. First notice social tab in 2042 is missing all pc players but those not in a game. Overlay shows disconnected. Have to restart app all the time. Been dozens are really dumb small errors lately it’s hard to report them all knowing they’re being flat out ignored. 2042 has had mass issues unaddressed, one for 3 whole months with hundreds of posts on forums. All games latency has been utter crap last 3 weeks and all friends across US and Asia agree. EA app and Javelin seem to be in conflict with one another. The moment 2042 dies, I’ll get 6 on a sale price and do phantom stuff but never playing an EA game again.
Custom Avatar not Working
I can't upload an image to replace my avatar. I am going into the EA app clicking on "My Profile" then clicking on "Manage". It will then take me to the Account Management web page. When I click on the little pencil button next to my avatar the only option that comes up is "Choose from gallery". Summarize your bug Every time I launch the Sims 4 from Steam, the EA app will change my online status from ''invisible'' to ''in-game''. This is despite my online status being set to invisible in Steam and despite my having signed into the EA app as invisible. When I close the game my status switches to "online". This does not happen when I sign into the EA app and change my status to invisible. When I change my status from online to invisible and then launch the game from Steam, my status remains "invisible" when I launch the Sims 4. The only issue with this is when I log into the EA app, change my status to invisible and then close the EA app, the next time I log in, my status appears as online again. How often does the bug occur? Every time. Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch EA app, sign in as invisible. Launch steam app, sign in as invisible. Launch the Sims 4 from the steam app. When the game is loaded go back and check the ea app and you will see your online status has changed from invisible to in-game. What happens when the bug occurs? Online status goes from invisible to in-game and, after the game is closed, the online status will change to online What do you expect to see? My online status to remain as invisible while I'm in-game and when I exit the game.I got double charged. Help me
I was charged twice. Please refund one of them. Please process this quickly. I kept trying. to get a refund. But the refund selection window doesn't appear. My order number is 1008381916801. The game won't even launch, so please fix this. I've spent 88,000 won but I can't play the game right now.
