FC 26 – Core Gameplay Broken by Camera Sync Issues
THIS ISSUE IS NOT ONLY IN RUSH!!!! Hello EA team, This issue has been ongoing for a long time, especially since you introduced RUSH mode into the game. It may sound complicated, but this is the reality: The problem has gotten much worse since last year, due to the major changes to the pitch size, angles, zoom height (now much higher), and the dynamic camera switching in RUSH. The issue is not only inside RUSH itself, but how the camera settings now affect the general gameplay experience in all other modes like Rivals or Squad Battles. In other words, the pitch changes, dimensions, and camera focus from RUSH also influence other Ultimate Team matches. The biggest factor: the camera. This is visible in player handling, first touch, passing, turning, and body orientation – which suddenly glitch when attacking near the goal. On top of that, gameplay is clearly different when pressing the camera focus button (PS5: touchpad, Xbox: “view/screen” button). Just like in RUSH, it switches focus from player to full pitch. The problem is that this function collides with and damages gameplay in other FUT modes, even when it’s not visually obvious – inputs and outputs change in a very noticeable way. Key observations: Passing and shooting reach: pressing the button alters reach drastically. Long passes: sometimes too short even with high power, or too long after switching focus. Short passes: can either hit a nearby opponent or suddenly fly 20 meters down the pitch. Shooting: Looks like long-distance shots (30–40m) even when standing just 15m from goal. Dribbling: The ball stays further from the foot, easier to lose. Defending: Tackling timing breaks due to “long focus” stretching the pitch. Narrow vs. Long focus: Narrow focus: more responsive short passes, tighter dribbling, tackles feel magnetic. Long focus: smoother look, faster flow, but unresponsive, with exaggerated animations. This creates imbalance: players who use the long focus gain unfair advantages (gliding movement, stronger long shots, faster pass execution). Camera setting collision (important): The collision is not only between RUSH and FUT modes – it also occurs between different in-game camera settings themselves. Switching between “Tele,” “Rush broadcast,” and others causes zoom/focus conflicts. These trigger the same gameplay inconsistencies (passing range, shooting, dribbling, tackling). Players can even meet in matches with different active camera focuses, which makes gameplay unequal. How to reproduce: Play one RUSH match on Rush Broadcast camera. Enter any FUT match (Rivals, Squad Battles, etc.). Use the camera focus button (PS5: touchpad, Xbox: “view/screen”). From here, the glitch activates permanently. Conclusion: The integration of RUSH camera logic into other modes has broken gameplay. It affects balance (passes, shots, dribbling, defending), input/output consistency, and the entire FUT experience. This issue used to be limited to RUSH/Rush Broadcast(and other rush cam's) , but now it extends further due to zoom changes, pitch dynamics, and coding mismatches (e.g., player distance vs. keeper is registered incorrectly). It’s disappointing to see such a core feature left unresolved, and I believe this has already cost EA many players who cannot accept a game that feels this inconsistent. Здравствуйте, где то с позавчера (21.09.2025) начались лаги в режимах. Причем фпс показывает везде не меньше 60 (стоит 60 макс) Пинг максимум 20-25 мс. Лагает во всех режимах, кроме Rush, там все плавно. При подключении к Rivals по мимо лагов еще и геймпад не реагирует на отклик (показывает, что подключен, но кромы выхода в меню, и то, с задержкой, ничего больше не работает). К тому же, я смотрю всем выдается Кумир дебюта за предзаказ, но мне так ничего и не пришло. Просьба разобраться со всем этим, играть невозможно. Не могу зайти в UT, либо захожу но не могу играть, выкидывает и пишет ошибка подключения, либо сервера сейчас недоступны. Вчера играл нормально, все грузило, играл нормально, позавчера не мог также зайти, еще несколько дней назад не мог войти, ни с телефона, ни с пк. Менял днс сервера на рекомендованные, не получилось, пытался играть с впн, не получилось, смог только с телефона зайти, перезагружал роутер, не помогло, удалял EA, не помогло.2.3KViews0likes18CommentsSquad Battles AI
The update to career mode ai has completely broken and ruined squad battles. Might work on authentic but clearly doesn't on competitive, this must not have been tested and if it was then please fire those testers, they are clueless. Since I hate the online gameplay this year I decided to just build my evo team and chill, casually, in squad battles but that is beyond a joke now. A silver 71 rated, 3 chem team just passed the ball around like prime Barcelona. They had 70% possession and did not attack once. Every time i get a player within 5 feet of their player with the ball they pass sideways or back. At 2-0 down they were passing on halfway line and in their final third. You spend most of these squad battles games chasing shadows and waiting for them to make a mistake, not a single moment of enjoyment left in the one mode I could play casually and enjoy. Are you going to change squad battles ai back to how it was or change it back in some way? I'm going to need an answer on this @EA anyone because if you are then I'll keep playing but if not please at least say so on this post so I can move to a different game.1.9KViews29likes135CommentsSquad battles difficulty increase
I got rank 1 in squad battles like I normally do every week but the past 2 days I've been playing 90+ teams on world class difficulty, like always, and all of a sudden it's 10x harder. The CPU plays every pass first time and controls the ball perfectly and shoots perfectly. They play at light speed. It's incredibly difficult to win the ball back. Not only this but for me offensively, not only are they marking every run no matter what, but my attackers are no longer making runs into space and the emphasis on my dribble animations seems insane. The game mode is to hard, because of the following The AI defence is always guessing everywhere you turn or pass etc. not how it is in real life or against other real players The AI presses to hard to get the ball back, many games they get the ball back in an average of 5 seconds The AI defending is just running through players, even from behind and never a foul, yet all I do is bounce off them and struggle to get the ball unless I make a standing or slide tackle, and with what been done with standing it goes in wrong direction 9 times out of 10 The AI defenders are to quick to recover with pace even on silver cards with 40 ish pace. Make it real The AI defence is always 9 back, and with the poor passing in the game it’s impossible to break the defence down, I don’t wanna score just on the fast break The AI holds onto the ball to long, I’ve just played a game and they had the ball for a good 20-30 mins in game time, 15 before half time and 15 after, recycling the ball to the GK included in this. Can’t get close to them and bounce off when trying to get the ball The AI is controlling more than one player at a time, and I’ve had 3 defenders all slide at the same time to stop the player, and the block….my AI refuses to move to a loose ball let alone slide to make a tackle The switching player feature is still choosing at times the player behind the ball, or a player nowhere near the ball General passing is very concerning in this game Crosses vs the AI is impossible and might as well be removed from the game, as they out jump a human everytime I find The GKs are better this year, but like with the out field players bring in physics….if you are shuffling to the left and have to dive right it’s impossible to get a good dive due to physical momentum. Also if a defender is running diagonally back left and you switch to his right the turn shouldn’t be able to turn on a dime to stop it. Make the players play to there ratings, and team chemistry. It affects my team, but an AI team can make 95% passing accuracy with a zero chem team and low rated silver/gold team this game could be so good, but the EA devs need to watch and try playing football to get a grasp of how movement works and inputting it into the game correctly…..after all the slogan is….if it’s in the gameПинг, лаги, лаги, пинг
Лаги дикие, что в Раш что в Райвалс, фризы... Оптимизацию всю сделал как здесь ранее выкладывались скрины... Один день поиграл всё было плавно, сегодня невозможно играть, при заходе в матч пинг показывает 22, в самом матче просто трэш, задержки лютые, с чем это связано?
