Progressing total in SB
Why have a progressing total in Squad Battles, why not just have a total at the start of the week so people know what to aim for, play all your SB on Monday and you are in the top 100 then by Sunday you have dropped to Elite 2 or 3. Is this so you can add more points progressively in case more people reach Elite 2 and get punted back down to Elite 3 then people get less rewards . Plus if you play all your matches on a Sunday or Monday as soon as you reach Elite 2, then the rest of the Squad Battles are scripted even more to make it harder. Best thing to do is play them all on a Saturday night as the scripting is not as bad because you don't reach Elite 2 so quickly.

I came back to the game for this installment. My last fifa was 17. Thoroughly enjoyed the first few months of playing. But recently, especially the last few days have been unbearable, the gameplay is shocking! Defending is none existent and the only way to score is walk, quick turn, pass, walk, spin, pass. This isnt football, and its mentally draining. Im taking out my 95 rated defenders/midfielders to see if theyre the issue but how could this be? You've catered far too much for the streamers/pro players which 'call of duty' did in the past and completely ruined their franchise. Dont make the same mistake. Also, just to add, I feel you should bring the prices down on packs, theyre a joke and rewards should be far better for this time of year. Long post, but please, sort this mess out. Every night for the past week, I keep getting disconnected from the online EA servers despite being signed into my Playstation Network and having 0 internet connectivity issues. I get signed out 15 minutes after starting up the game on Ultimate Team and while doing the simplest of things like an SBC, opening packs, or just simply making changes to my formation/starting 11 before I end up getting disconnected from online servers. Whenever I get signed out, I try reconnecting to the online servers by pressing the “R3” button, just to get a message stating that it is unable to connect and to check that I am signed into my PSN and to check my internet. I am then forced to close the game, do an internet connection test to verify THAT MY INTERNET IS WORKING. My download speeds typically show around 400-470 Mbps, and upload speeds show as 50-70 Mbps, so I clearly do not have any connectivity issues. Once I relaunch the game, I am then met with the same message of being unable to connect to the EA servers and to check that I am signed into PSN and to check my internet connection. After closing and re opening the game again, I am able to connect back and play for anywhere between 15 minutes to 45 minutes before I get greeted with the same message that I have lost my online connection. Sometimes I have to relaunch the game several times before I am able to connect to the servers and stay connected for a few minutes This becomes increasingly frustrating whenever I am playing a squad battle match as I will “lose connection” and be forced to lose a match despite me being ahead in goals against the AI teams. EA, please fix you server connection issues. There is no reason that I should continuously get the same message over and over again despite STAYING SIGNED IN to my PSN account and my home network connection having no interruptions.What Have you Gone & Done Now!
Good day EA FC Developers/ tech team, I don't know what you guys went and screwed around with now, but your latest patch has made squad battles really impossible to play now. I played matches tonight on world class level and could not beat an 83 rated gold squad, when I would usually destroy that same team on legendary! All teams are all of a sudden OP played 4 lost 4 and decided to stop playing in the name of my sanity. I don't know what y'all did, but the squad battles experience is no longer entertaining cause of this OP levels the game suddenly displays but please look into it and fix it please. Otherwise, I'll just have to delete this game cause the other modes were already bad and **bleep** near unplayable on PC. Again, world class in squad battles plays like legendary and legendary plays like ultimate which is crazy! Please fix this. Thank You.Squad battles rank issue
It appears you have raised the required amount of points needed to reach certain ranks in squad battles. Who tf asked for ts. I just started the game last week and I achieved ELITE 2 rank in squad battles and was happy that I would be getting the better rewards, however you have increased it JUST ENOUGH to where I COULDNT GET THE RANK AND IM NOW IN ELITE 3. This feels very unfair as a new player I tried hard to get the extra rewards just for it to not matter. Istg if you don’t fix my rank in 4 days, I’m never playing this game again also make sbc player rewards more achievable, they have no business being so **bleep** hard. ( 4 90+ rated squads + totw/tots players for a single 90 rated player that isn’t even that good is crazy to me)Inconsistent gameplay.
All last week, we were practicing on World Class to get squad battles. We got to the point where we could beat 91 rated teams, albeit in an intense match. I've played FIFA since FIFA '98, but my last game was FIFA 18, so I'm not used to everything being online and constantly glitching. For my girlfriend, this will be her first and last FIFA game (EA is not getting another cent from us). Anyways, we are learning to play this terrible game, and we get to the point where we can beat World Class teams of 85 and under fairly comfortably. Then, an update drops 2 days ago, and everything went downhill. We can't steal the ball, finesse shot doesn't work (they literally shoot a regular shot 80% of the time), our players abandon the ball in the middle of a dribble, our far stronger players get muscled off the ball by midgets. We lost a match against an 84 rated team on World Class. Race for points is over. The very next game, I'm trying to take my frustration out on the opposing team (at this point, I get more joy from watching them do involuntary yoga positions from my slide tackles than actually scoring), two of our players get sent off, and we still win 4-2 against World Class team....they only scored 2 off pens. What is happening? What was in that update? Who tested it? Does anyone work at EA anymore or is it AI doing market research on how broken the game needs to be before people stop falling for it?How do you injure opponents, and can you injure the ref?
I'm getting carded for just sealing out the opponents, so I figured I might as well slide the life out of them, but I can't figure out how to make sure they suffer. My players get injured all the time, but I have yet to see my opponents' players hurt. They pretend to be hurt when they are waiting for the ref to give me a yellow (back when football was a man's game, we used to make fun of players who pretend to be hurt until ref's decision, now it's so blatant and normalized, it's in the game....get it?), but after that, they are fine and dandy running around, and I get sent off for nothing. Any help, I'm trying to hurt somebody here. Also, why can't we slide on the ref? Maybe shoulder check them when they get in our way? The refs in this game are crooked as a clothes hanger, and my players should be able to voice their frustration by maybe crippling them sometimes. Isn't this game supposed to be realistic?How do I get fouled by the AI
This game is a joke, I hate online game play so stick to squad battles. I’ve played 40 games now trying to get a foul tried shielding, just run around me and get the ball or poke the ball through my legs etc tried dribbling, just slides or standing tackle to perfection everytime. tried pulling the ball back and slow dribbling etc with close control, it’s impossible to be fouled yet there is a challenge out called dead ball danger where you need to score 3 free kicks. It’s a joke that this is impossible to do. It’s yet another failure on EAs part
