Things wrong with M1014's speedloader animation
This attachment was added to two tube-fed shotguns, M87A1 & M1014 in the Season 3 update. It works perfectly fine, but the animation doesn't look quite OK with a empty M1014. 1st: You can not insert anything from below while the bolt is locked in the rear position. 2nd: With tube-fed firearms, you can't simply release the bolt after reloading and continue firing. The current empty reload animation of M1014 with speedloader is everything but accurate in terms of how the weapon actually works in real life. After comparing the animation of M87A1 and conducting conducting mechanical tests, I discovered that the development team appears to have made certain trade-offs to allow the fast reload animation to be interrupted. With this mechanism in place, it will be quite difficult to make adjustments to the animation. Here are the correct ways to reload for 3 different modes: Retains interruptible feature, at a great cost of speed: Press the bolt release after the last round fired, reload with the bolt closed, press the shell release lever up into the gun, then pull the charging handle back (3+1), just like what Charon did in John Wick 3. Then add that extra round into to the tube (4+1). Also retains interruptible feature & save time, but sacrifices fault tolerance: Put that one round directly into the chamber and slam that bolt release like the good old days (getting only 1 round if you need to get back in fight immediately), then push that 4 round with speedloader like a normal 1/5 reload. Abandons the interruptible feature but smoooooooooth: Press bolt release, put that 4 rounds in with speedloader, pull the charging handle back and drop that extra round into tha chamber, release the handle and you are good to go with 4+1. I know the development team is going to get it right if the animation is too wrong, like the L85A3 with that clipping magazine. Please fix this one too. It's even worse. Game: Battlefield 6 Platform: Steam PC Specs: Windows 11 Home (Version 25H2, OS Build 26200.8524) AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core processor 32 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Router: ASUS RT-AC5300 (Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386_48439) As of late I have been having issues with an oddly consistent lag. Previously, when I was lagging, I would experience the usual lag issues (rubber banding, hits not counting, player teleportation). Recently though, I have been cursed with something that is far worse- a consistent and constant lag. Game play feels like I'm "running in wet sand" and the lag is so bad that I can't even skip a revive. I have also started to see icons in the top left corner of my screen, one of which is a solid vertical bar icon that I have not been able to find any information about online. I have had no lag issues with any other games, I have taken my computer to someone else's house and tried playing BF6 there, I have checked every setting that I can on my router, and I have done a Steam repair protocol. As I type this, I am doing a complete uninstall and reinstall as my last ditch effort to fix this issue. This game has become unplayable at this point and I am beyond disappointed 💔Game crashes in ranked
Game crashes consistently with the DirectX error. I have lost over 600 RP in the past 4 days trying to fix this issue. The game will load up and I will start a game of Ranked REDSEC. I will choose my class and the second the match shows us above the helicopter before we drop, it crashes. I have done everything suggested from EA Forums, Steam, Youtube, Google, ChatGPT, and even Reddit. I also reached out to Microcenter to find a solution with no luck. I have reinstalled BF6, verified game files, reinstalled drivers, changed BF6 settings, changed, PC settings, underclocked my PC, changed performance settings, graphics settings, changed NVIDIA App settings... Nothing works. Edit: Old details left below for archiving, but as of today's update (09/06/2026) the mouse issues have now been fixed. Thank you for everyone's contributions, we can finally enjoy the game :) --- ORIGINAL POST --- Mouse input is broken, which ruins an otherwise well optimised game. This looks to be getting confused with poor frame timing in a lot of threads, but controller input is unaffected. For reference, I easily average over 100fps even on the bigger maps, but panning the camera with mouse input makes the game feel like it's running at 15fps despite no drops. In-game reporting confirms it's running perfectly, as CPU/GPU are always rendering within 10fps of eachother. Connect a controller though? Buttery smooth camera panning, and easy to track enemies. No hitches or stutters, just butter. I've tried: - All polling rates, from 125hz up to 4000hz - Toggling raw input on/off - Enabling/disabling Nvidia reflex - Changing USB ports, changing to different mice, wired/wireless - USB power saving etc all turned off - I even tried a driver/Nvidia CP restore, but as controller is super smooth, this was a long shot in the first place Unfortunately the game is unplayable using a mouse on PC due to this. It's next to impossible to track targets, and you quickly get a headache from the micro stuttering when panning. The effect is very similar to Helldivers 2 on PC, when you turn off 'Mouse Smoothing', as that game has serious issues with raw mouse input. Happy to hear suggestions on how to fix this. Mice tried: - Keychron M4 - Logitech G305 - Logitech G604 - Razer Naga Hyperspeed - AttackShark M1 I've also tried on an entirely different PC, same results. OLED as always exhacerbates the issue too, due to the awesome pixel response times. I fear many won't see it due to slower LCDs. Specs are: 5700x3d 3060ti 8GB 32GB DDR4 3600 CL16 AW3423DW (Gsync module version) This is on a fresh Windows install, up to date drivers (tried DDU as well to be sure), but honestly since it's running beautifully with a controller, this looks to be purely a mouse input issue. No other games exhibit this issue other than... Helldivers 2, and Battlefield V. BF1 is butter on mouse, as are BF3 and BF4. Helldivers 2 can be fixed by turning on mouse smoothing in game. I almost bought a GPU upgrade before testing the Xbox controller, saved myself £600. Latest CM post: Hi everyone, Thanks for sharing your experiences and feedback so far. We understand this issue is especially frustrating when it impacts your ability to play smoothly with a mouse. While we’ve asked for similar information before (here), to move forward and make meaningful progress, it is absolutely essential that you provide detailed and precise information responding to the specific request below. Giving vague comments without concrete details won’t help us troubleshoot, escalate, or investigate effectively. If you’re able to, please reply directly to this post by clicking the Reply button on this post. This keeps your info neatly organised and makes it much easier for us (and the studio) to track everything. Please avoid replying to the original post or posting at the bottom of the thread, as this makes it harder for everyone to follow the conversation. Here’s what would be super helpful for us to know: Mouse mode (wired or wireless) Mouse polling rate (e.g. 1000Hz) Whether you’re using mouse software (like Razer Synapse) Where your mouse is plugged in (PC, monitor, hub, etc.) Keyboard model and connection type (wired/wireless) Keyboard polling rate Whether you’re using keyboard software Where your keyboard is plugged in Monitor model Full PC specs (CPU, GPU with driver version, RAM) Full Windows OS version (not just "Windows 11") Whether Gsync or VRR is enabled Full screen mode (fullscreen, borderless, windowed) Which platform do you play on (EA app or Steam) Any overlays active during play (Discord, EA app, Nvidia overlay, etc.) CPU and GPU usage percentages while playing Whether the issue improves with a framerate cap (e.g. 125 FPS) The more details you can share, the better we can help. We know it’s a lot to ask, but this is the only way we can ensure the right information reaches the team and move things forward. Thanks so much for your patience and for helping us out with this. We really appreciate it!Solved113KViews231likes1557CommentsStrikepoint spawn glitch
PLEASE EA PLEAAAAAAASE FIX THIS!!! In strikepoint before the round starts, you can jump, sprint, and slide out of spawn to get up to 30 meters farther out of spawn. In strikepoint, holding angles matters and if enemy players are just to the objective long before your team is, they have control over point and win 90% of the time. This bug is so heavily abused that every match with higher level players just devolves into who can bug abuse better. Also, each team should only be allowed one set of defibs. 4 medic revive spam is wildly hard to counter.34Views0likes2CommentsWeekly Class Debrief - Engineer
Welcome everyone to the Weekly Class Debrief. Each week we will be rotating through each class to discuss everything from Balancing, best equipment/weapons to use, tips and more, YOU drive the discussion. We're back again with another discussion on the Engineer class after our first thread discussing recon after the changes made with season 3. Continuing from where we left off with Recon, how do we feel Engineer is playing since the release of Season 3 now that we've had some time to get used to the balancing changes made. As always the discussion is driven by you folks - we’ll be jumping in with our own thoughts, but we’re especially interested in your feedback, playstyles, and any tips you’ve picked up along the way. If you’ve got clips or standout moments, feel free to share those too.239Views4likes16CommentsBF6 crashes windows and i do not know how to fix it.

A bug has occurred where the ping (spot) is displayed in an incorrect location instead of the center of the screen when piloting a jet in third-person free view mode. Due to this bug, it is difficult to use the 3D spot feature. This issue does not occur in first-person view mode.8Views0likes0CommentsAfter today's BF6 update, AMD FSR Frame Generation became unavailable for me.
I am using a GTX 1660 Super and FSR Frame Generation was working perfectly yesterday. I tested it extensively and was getting a significant FPS improvement with virtually no noticeable increase in latency. Today, after the update, the "AMD FSR Frame Generation" option is completely greyed out and cannot be enabled. My settings: AMD FSR enabled Dynamic Resolution Scale disabled Same hardware as yesterday Same NVIDIA driver as yesterday Nothing has changed on my system except the BF6 update. Has anyone else experienced this issue after today's patch? Is this a known bug or an intentional change? Any help would be appreciated.194Views2likes7Comments
