The IGLA should be removed from the game
The Igla should be removed from the game until the flare interaction bug is properly fixed. At this point, it’s the only realistic way to make air gameplay bearable again. The developers have already acknowledged that there is a bug involving how AA missiles interact with flares. In the recent Discord Q&A, it was confirmed that missiles can sometimes ignore flares entirely. This isn’t speculation anymore. The issue is known. The problem is that the Igla is by far the worst offender. This isn’t an occasional annoyance that happens once every few days. Anyone who spends a significant amount of time flying will run into it repeatedly. If you’re flying and you’re actually surviving long enough to engage in air combat instead of crashing or dying to simple mistakes, there’s a very good chance you’ll die multiple times to missiles that completely ignore your flares. That is not a minor bug. It’s a game-breaking issue for air vehicles. The frustrating part is that this has existed in some form since release. Lock-on missiles and AA missiles have always had inconsistent interactions with flares. Sometimes they work correctly. Sometimes they don’t. The Igla, however, takes the problem to another level. It seems to ignore flares far more often than any other launcher in the game. When your primary defensive countermeasure randomly fails, there is no meaningful counterplay. Flying becomes less about skill, positioning, or decision-making and more about hoping the game doesn’t decide that your flares simply don’t count this time. I understand that fixing this bug may not be simple and could take time. That’s exactly why I think temporary action should be taken instead of waiting indefinitely while the issue continues to affect every pilot in the game. Remove the Igla from the game until the bug is fixed. While the launcher is disabled, investigate exactly why it behaves differently from other AA launchers and why it appears to ignore flares so frequently. More importantly, continue working on a proper fix for flare interactions across all lock-on and AA missiles so that the problem is finally resolved at its source. The current situation makes air gameplay unnecessarily frustrating, and the Igla is the biggest contributor to that frustration. Until the bug is fixed, it has no place in the game.369Views10likes27CommentsBattlefields Roots.... Return to them
I was playing battlefield 4 and V not so long ago.... man it feels so good and refreshing. The movement feels realistic. None of the call of duty major league baseball sliding, or jump spamming.... and positioning, strategy and tactics actually mattered.you guys took away the main thing that we appreciated and separated from call of duty.... and thats battlefields original movement. The devs kept the movement the way it was for a reason.... then boom vince comes in and takes it away. The endless jumping needs to stop, the slide jump 360 spin shooting needs to stop... Nerf the slide by amount of distance, shortly increasing the time before you can slide again, and becoming significantly inaccurate when ADSing immediately after sliding also make it to where you can only fire from the hip while sliding Nerf the jump shooting spamming by significantly increasing inaccuracy when adsing immediately after jumping and shortly increasing the amount of time before you can jump again.(or make it to where you can only fire from the hip while shooting in the air after jumping This should revive a good amount of the battlefield veteran community. Please give us our Game back. Put an end to the jump sliding and spamming EA ThanksSpawn selection bug
When i mouse over a squadmate or objective in the deployment screen the game throws my mouse the opposite direction of which i approached it from making it really hard to select between two deploy points right next to each other... really annoying and just looks stupid and it only happened after the launch of S3 P2.68Views7likes6CommentsFeedback: Official Servers Only vs Private Admin-Run Servers Reasoning:
DICE can absolutely add a server browser, but it should be restricted to official servers only. Private-managed servers should not be included in either the server browser or the matchmaking system. Why? Because once private servers are allowed into the main ecosystem, the game quickly gets filled with stacked squads, closed little groups, and admin abuse. Too many servers turn into places where “server owners” act like emperors, using their power to kick, ban, or control players however they want. That kind of environment is unhealthy for the game and terrible for the long-term player experience. A fair, stable multiplayer game needs consistent rules, transparent matchmaking, and equal treatment for everyone. If DICE wants to support a server browser, that should mean official servers only — not private rule sets, not admin-controlled sandboxes, and not a system that lets abuse become part of the core experience. Keep it official. Keep it fair. Keep the game healthy. (cm edit updated title for vis)PSA: Mouse Input is finally fixed in the game!
Edit: Old details left below for archiving, but as of today's update (09/06/2026) the mouse issues have now been fixed. Thank you for everyone's contributions, we can finally enjoy the game :) --- ORIGINAL POST --- Mouse input is broken, which ruins an otherwise well optimised game. This looks to be getting confused with poor frame timing in a lot of threads, but controller input is unaffected. For reference, I easily average over 100fps even on the bigger maps, but panning the camera with mouse input makes the game feel like it's running at 15fps despite no drops. In-game reporting confirms it's running perfectly, as CPU/GPU are always rendering within 10fps of eachother. Connect a controller though? Buttery smooth camera panning, and easy to track enemies. No hitches or stutters, just butter. I've tried: - All polling rates, from 125hz up to 4000hz - Toggling raw input on/off - Enabling/disabling Nvidia reflex - Changing USB ports, changing to different mice, wired/wireless - USB power saving etc all turned off - I even tried a driver/Nvidia CP restore, but as controller is super smooth, this was a long shot in the first place Unfortunately the game is unplayable using a mouse on PC due to this. It's next to impossible to track targets, and you quickly get a headache from the micro stuttering when panning. The effect is very similar to Helldivers 2 on PC, when you turn off 'Mouse Smoothing', as that game has serious issues with raw mouse input. Happy to hear suggestions on how to fix this. Mice tried: - Keychron M4 - Logitech G305 - Logitech G604 - Razer Naga Hyperspeed - AttackShark M1 I've also tried on an entirely different PC, same results. OLED as always exhacerbates the issue too, due to the awesome pixel response times. I fear many won't see it due to slower LCDs. Specs are: 5700x3d 3060ti 8GB 32GB DDR4 3600 CL16 AW3423DW (Gsync module version) This is on a fresh Windows install, up to date drivers (tried DDU as well to be sure), but honestly since it's running beautifully with a controller, this looks to be purely a mouse input issue. No other games exhibit this issue other than... Helldivers 2, and Battlefield V. BF1 is butter on mouse, as are BF3 and BF4. Helldivers 2 can be fixed by turning on mouse smoothing in game. I almost bought a GPU upgrade before testing the Xbox controller, saved myself £600. Latest CM post: Hi everyone, Thanks for sharing your experiences and feedback so far. We understand this issue is especially frustrating when it impacts your ability to play smoothly with a mouse. While we’ve asked for similar information before (here), to move forward and make meaningful progress, it is absolutely essential that you provide detailed and precise information responding to the specific request below. Giving vague comments without concrete details won’t help us troubleshoot, escalate, or investigate effectively. If you’re able to, please reply directly to this post by clicking the Reply button on this post. This keeps your info neatly organised and makes it much easier for us (and the studio) to track everything. Please avoid replying to the original post or posting at the bottom of the thread, as this makes it harder for everyone to follow the conversation. Here’s what would be super helpful for us to know: Mouse mode (wired or wireless) Mouse polling rate (e.g. 1000Hz) Whether you’re using mouse software (like Razer Synapse) Where your mouse is plugged in (PC, monitor, hub, etc.) Keyboard model and connection type (wired/wireless) Keyboard polling rate Whether you’re using keyboard software Where your keyboard is plugged in Monitor model Full PC specs (CPU, GPU with driver version, RAM) Full Windows OS version (not just "Windows 11") Whether Gsync or VRR is enabled Full screen mode (fullscreen, borderless, windowed) Which platform do you play on (EA app or Steam) Any overlays active during play (Discord, EA app, Nvidia overlay, etc.) CPU and GPU usage percentages while playing Whether the issue improves with a framerate cap (e.g. 125 FPS) The more details you can share, the better we can help. We know it’s a lot to ask, but this is the only way we can ensure the right information reaches the team and move things forward. Thanks so much for your patience and for helping us out with this. We really appreciate it!Solved115KViews231likes1591CommentsCan't Aim Down Sights and every gun fires at semi-auto.
Encountered a bug today where no matter the map, mode, gun or class I can't aim down sights, and every gun only shoots one bullet per click of the mouse even if it is set to full auto. I tried restarted the game and verifying the game files and nothing has worked. I can aim down sights in the firing range, it just seems in an actual match that I can't. The issue persists across multiple servers and game restarts. I have attached a video of the issue from less than an hour ago.12Views1like0Comments
