Open Packs Now During FUTTIES Team 5 or Wait for Next Promo?
Hi everyone, I’m currently in Ultimate Team (FC 25) and just entered Season 10. I’ve been saving up 156 packs and 50 player picks/items, and I’m trying to decide the best time to open them. Right now, FUTTIES Team 5 is in packs, and there’s about 1 day left before the event ends. I’m wondering: Should I open everything now to ? Or should I wait until Team 5 ends and see what comes next (maybe “Best of FUTTIES” or another promo)? I’d really like to maximize my chances of getting top players, so any advice from experienced players would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I’m writing this with every ounce of frustration boiling inside me, fists clenched, teeth grinding, and a controller I nearly smashed out of sheer rage. FOR MONTHS, I’ve been begging — practically screaming — for someone at EA to fix the absolutely broken, unplayable state of gameplay in FC 25. And guess what? NOTHING has been done. Not a patch. Not a fix. Not even an acknowledgment. Just pure, agonizing silence while I’m stuck playing a game that feels like my players are wading through cement. EVERYTHING IS DELAYED. Passing? Delayed. Shooting? Delayed. Sprinting? Delayed. Shoulder challenge? Doesn’t even register. Tackling? Might as well not exist. Do you understand how INFURIATING it is to press a button and have to wait a full second before anything happens?! In this game, that second is EVERYTHING. My players can’t even shield the ball properly. They get tackled from behind like they’re made of tissue paper, while my own challenges just bounce off the opponent and roll RIGHT BACK into their path like the game is actively helping them. WHEN I TRY TO PRESS, there’s a delay. WHEN I SPRINT, there’s a delay. WHEN I SHOOT, I might as well send a handwritten letter to the player asking them to take the shot — because that's how long it takes. My 98-pace striker breaks free on goal… and still gets caught from behind because of the delay in the shooting input. What kind of nonsense is that? My opponent can have a player 5 yards behind and still catch me because I dared to press shoot. Meanwhile, my defenders move like they’re half-asleep on NyQuil and just let the opponent jog right past them. And the passing? Don’t even get me started. It's like the game has a MIND OF ITS OWN. My passes are sluggish, sloppy, and half the time they go in the complete opposite direction of what I’m aiming for. Dribbling? Dead. Turning? A joke. Trying to shield the ball? Useless. Every movement? SLOW. LAGGY. UNRESPONSIVE. My players don’t move — they suffer. EVERY angle, EVERY direction, EVERY movement — they are slow. Turning 10 degrees feels like rotating a battleship. A 90-degree turn? Don’t even bother. A 360? Might as well take a nap mid-spin. It’s not even football at this point — it’s a **bleep** disaster. And then there’s the worst part: I LOSE. Over and over again. Not because I’m bad. Not because my opponents are great. But because the game is fundamentally BROKEN. I’m out here fighting both my opponent and my own players — and I have NO CHANCE of winning. ZERO. I might as well pass the ball to my opponent and score their goals for them — because that’s what it feels like. I’m being set up to fail every single match. The gameplay is a mess, and EA has done NOTHING to fix it. So I’m asking — no, I’m DEMANDING — again: FIX THIS GAME. Fix the delay. Fix the movement. Fix the broken inputs. Fix the imbalance. Fix the fact that I PAID for a game that actively sabotages me every time I try to play. This isn’t a “bug.” This is sabotage. This is a disgrace. EA, FIX FC 25. Unfortunately due to the inconsistency in gameplay and the game generally being annoying and frustrating instead of rewarding and fun; I will not be spending any more of my time in it. I have started so many discussions last few weeks hoping EA would do something about the team nerfing, and inconsistent gamepla… but I don’t remember the last time I had fun playing this game. It’s a shame because when it all works, it’s so much fun to play but the current state of this game doesn’t deserve my precious time or hard earned money! Anyone reading this, stop spending time on here hoping EA fix things, the won’t. They are trying to suck the money out of your wallets with a subpar game. So many other games and hobbies you can indulge in. This 🗑️ doesn’t deserve your time and energy!
PC Controller/Keyboard input issue in online matches
FC 25 pc controller/keyboard not working in online mode like rivals, champions. Issue is like sprinting, player marker, lob and through pass not working, only short pass working. However in squad battles everythings works fine. Also controller setting saved to Custom A automatically changes to undefined. So I created Custom D with same input and whenever I try to select Custom A and back to previous menu its automatically changes to Custom D. I tried the following steps: 1. Disable/Enable/Default Steam input 2. Delete the game settings from the local folder and create new settings and save fifa profile 3. Disable screen overlay on both Steam and EA App 4. Disbled cross platform on match making settings 5. Lower graphics settings (30fps/60fps) 6. Run steam and FC 25 as administrator 7. Disconnect other USB devices 8. Re save settings in a offline/online match Nothing works. Anyone from @EA? any solution on this? What kind of developer you hired to build this broken frustrating game? Spend hours of time to fix this simple problem and nothing works. Purchase this game to enjoy the game and you guys make this so difficult. Any other games works absolutely fine with same keyboard/controller the only issue is this game.FC26 promotion in FC25
I understand the next FC is right around the corner, and EA would like us to purchase the game and preorder. However, I am really tired of having the game shoved down my throat when I start FC25. I get it, we can preorder, stop asking us to buy the ultimate edition first, and right after we have to click A or another button to enter the game, it’s not right. Since the last update, gameplay has been broken: Players move in the wrong direction Passes go opposite from input Ball control is unresponsive Players don’t react properly during matches And some people can’t even log in This isn’t just about losing a few matches. This is about frustration, helplessness, and mental pressure for people who love this game. There are kids who are passionate about FC 25. They play every day, they live for it — and when things go wrong and they don’t get help from EA Support, they don’t know how to manage it emotionally. One player on Discord broke down so badly because of UT issues and the silence from EA that he ended up in the hospital. Think about that. This game means a lot to many people — not just adults, but also kids and teens. They care. And when the game doesn't work and no one from EA listens, it creates real pain. This is not just a small technical bug. It's a community crisis for those affected. EA — please, take this seriously. We are not just usernames and tickets. We are players, kids, teens, adults — people who care. And right now, it feels like you’ve left us in the dark. I have stopped buying FC Points because I kept getting really bad packs whenever I spent my money on packs. After that, I noticed I only get the middle or lower tier players in rewards. Since Futties started, I have opened so many Champs rewards, Rivals division 3 rewards, I even buy the dual futties guarantee pack at least once a week; and I’m telling you I have not gotten a single player above 97 OVR. Forget the 99 OVR players, I haven’t packed a single 98 OVR futties card. Don’t ask me how many Scholes and Viallis I have. My SBC storage full of 97 OVR Futties. This is just frustrating and very noticeable. This is why no one trusts EA. You do things like this that make the whole gameplay experience frustrating. I’m still not preordering FC26.
