The game crashes on startup. But it got worse.
I made a post about it here and found a fix for it too, - but as of writing this post, the game crashes with the "fix" too. To recap my last post about this: The EA Sports intro play, the seizure warning comes up, screen goes black and with that swift move, back to the desktop without any error message. The Temporary fix was: In steam I wrote in the launch options "-dx11", forcing the game to launch in directx11. This meant that the game/my gpu has an issue with launching in directx12, for whatever reason (let it be my gpu driver or a bug in game). My specs for reference: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600g (Integrated gpu is off of course!) GPU: Intel ARC 750 LE (if that matters) (Current driver version .6559) RAM: 2x8GB 3200Mhz The game is installed on Windows 11, on an SSD, in Program files (x86)\Steam\etc.... (My operating system language is hungarian if for whatever reason the game could have a problem with it) Note: Today when I got back from uni I used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) uninstalling my old driver and then installing the new (.6559) one. Last week I also tried wiping my save file testing if that could fix it (I was really desperate, in DX11 most graphical features don't work and the game looks 10x worse.) but that didn't fix it either (and also I didn't test the game afterwards with the fix to see if it still worked). On a Final Note: This very well could be a driver issue on my side, so I'll also make a complaint about this to intel, but regardless please look into it.Unable to run in a Virtual Machine. Please exit the VM and try again. (142)
What the F EA?! I have played more than 190 hrs on my VM this game, under Steam, and now you decide to stop that with your AntiCheat. Playing on VM is not cheating!!! This is unbelievable. Please can anyone direct me to the information, that playing WRC 24 on VM is not allowed??? EA should have given that information before you buy the game. Even Call of Duty Warzone is playable on VM's. It's one of the most famous game cheaters are exploiting, but still their AntiCheat allows you to play on VM. Using a VM as your daily driver is more reasonable than using your PC only for gaming. All that hardware wasted for only one activity. I really hope you fix this!350Views3likes5CommentsOptiscaler should be whitelisted by EA AntiCheat
As stated above, imo Optiscaler should be whitelisted by EA AntiCheat, just as they did with RTSS. As there seemingly won't be any updates to the game's upscalers (DLSS, FSR) from EA/Codemasters, using Optiscaler would greatly help with the constant shimmering of the road surface and other fine details if we were able to switch upscalers and or upscaler versions via the programme. With Optiscaler it would be possible to use the latest DLSS4, FSR 3.1.3 or XeSS 2 which would greatly improve image quality and stability. Unfortunately as of now, EA AntiCheat blocks access to Optiscaler. Optiscaler works great in other Unreal Engine 4 titles, such as Assetto Corsa Competizione, which is heavily multiplayer-focused and does allow Optiscaler to be used without issues. So it would be great if EA could whitelist that application for EA WRC. It is completely open source (https://github.com/cdozdil/OptiScaler) and it is only about visuals after all, so I don't think it should be blocked by EA AntiCheat.214Views2likes1CommentI've reinstalled WRC for a couple of times, it wont open

Hello, have and played on my Xbox Series X and just checked, it's all working there. But bought the Steam version on a sale I have it installed and can play it, and its logged in. But when I go to do the moments, I get the error message, Failed to Connect. I've followed all the troubleshooting. and the game is running and working, just can't get into the moments on PC, but Xbox is fine. Any idea what's going on here, and what I need to do? Thx.25Views0likes0CommentsGame freezes then crashes on startup
I open the game, shortly into the EA intro video, it freezes, stayed frozen for a minute or two, then crashes. I've tried rubbing it as an administrator, with Windows 8 compatability, full screen optimization disabled, but still no joy. Looking to see if I can get any help before performing a reinstall, I'm pretty reluctant since it's 110GB Specs: i7-12700k RTX 3060 16GB RAM @ 3200Mhz 1440p 144hz Game is on my Hard drive: WDC WD10EZEX-00WN4A0 All my drivers are up to date, I'm pretty lost as to what to do.Game crashes without error message after few minutes
After Le Maestross update everytime I launch the game and during loading it says: Failure during update process after updating anticheat/reinstalling it game launches fine but then game crashes after few minutes without error message. I tried reinstalling whole game/repairing files/launching game as admin/reinstalling anticheat i lowered all graphic settings to lowest turn off everything and nothing helped so basically I can´t even play the game. Anyone else experienced this and found a way to fix it?68Views0likes0Comments
