Time Nudge Issues in Battlefield 6
In Battlefield 2042 and the Battlefield 6 beta I started experiencing some frustrating time nudge issues. Oddly enough I did not have these issues at the launch of 2042, and they only became a problem when I came back to the game this year due to excitement for Battlefield 6. I did pick up a new video card for unrelated reasons (just finally found a decent deal on a 9070XT). What I found was that my problems were due primarily to poor airflow in my case, leading to very high sustained temperatures and thermal throttling of the CPU. This then caused a CPU bottleneck that led to the TN issues. During the BF6 beta before replacing my case I was able to get the TN issues under control by reapplying thermal paste and limiting FPS to 60. After the beta I picked up a new case with much better airflow and fans and since have not had any thermal throttling issues playing games like Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield 2042, Star Citizen, World of Warcraft (it is actually a CPU intensive game!) and Ark: Survival Ascended extensively. Temps have stayed in an acceptable range and I have not seen any throttling. Today when I jumped into Battlefield 6's launch I found that this issue was back with a vengeance. I saw wildly high TN and the game was unplayable at the default settings. Even with settings tweaking I was unable to get into a playable range and saw marginal at best improvement. The game runs fine when I spawn in and as I'm running to the first point, but as soon as combat starts my TN goes nuts and it feels like I'm playing on dial up (FPS stays fine). At that point I was seeing 100% pinned CPU utilization. I tried using the User.cfg fix and it did help a bit, my CPU utilization dropped a fair bit, now it averages around 80% with spikes to 98%, and it made the game somewhat playable, but I'm still getting intense TN spikes at any busier command points. This is, frankly, infuriating. I have friends playing on much older CPUs with excellent performance, and I have seen others on YouTube playing with my CPU with no problem. I'm really at my wits' end here. If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate it. I don't understand why it worked fine in the beta but is such a mess now (and yes, I have the issue on the maps from the beta). Probably worth noting that this isn't an issue at all in the campaign, it works perfectly there with smooth 60FPS. Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 6 both don't launch to the game and revert back to the EA app. However, I found that if I play on a guest Windows PC account then both games launch but I can't play on my main Windows PC account? Is there any way to fix or go around this? As I've already deleted every EA folder I could find to support a full clean reinstall but that didn't work and it seems to just be EA games as Steam and Epic games work aokay.“connection timed out. Player removed from game.” Error on PC.
Other games like marvel rivals works fine. Seems to only be battlefield. Also, when I launch the game it’ll always say “No local saved data found” and when closing the game after the time out error it’ll say “couldnt save to cloud” or something like that. I just did a full windows reset and it still happens so it can’t be the computer and like I said, other games are working fine. can anyone chime in here and tell me what’s going on?Bought Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition on XBOX Series X still showing as Standard
Hey everyone, hoping someone from EA or the community can help me out here. I bought the Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition on my Xbox Series X through the Xbox app, but when I launch the game it only shows the Standard Edition and the Phantom content still says "Buy" instead of "Owned". I confirmed with Microsoft that my purchase went through and it shows as owned in my Xbox account. So this looks like a license or entitlement sync issue between Xbox and EA's servers. Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Reinstalled the game Signed out and back into both EA and Xbox accounts Verified the purchase with Microsoft Everything checks out on their end, so it seems the problem is on EA's side. Appreciate any help! OD0EEA Anti-Cheat block my dial-up pppoe internet connection

Dear Battlefield Team, Squad leader assignment; There is currently no option to request squad leadership when the current leader is inactive or not coordinating with the squad. Adding a request option or an automatic transfer after a period of inactivity would make the squad system significantly more functional; this behaviour exists in previous titles of the series and improves squad coordination. Hardcore filter in the server browser; Hardcore mode should be available as a dedicated, selectable filter in the “Custom Search” tab. At present, locating Hardcore servers is cumbersome, which restricts access to the mode. Additionally, many Hardcore servers run with only a few human players and a high number of bots. If no meaningful differences exist in server settings or region, such servers should be automatically merged; joining existing servers should be prioritised over continuously hosting new instances to consolidate the player base and improve match quality. Inconsistent loadout naming; Loadout names are inconsistent across the UI; sometimes they appear as “Loadout 1–3”, sometimes by Perk names, and occasionally Loadout 3 is shown as “Custom”. Please standardise the naming to one of the following formats: either “Loadout 1–3” or “[Perk 1 Name], [Perk 2 Name], Custom”. Thank you for your ongoing development of the game; the points above aim to unify existing systems and stabilise the player experience, particularly in squad and Hardcore gameplay. Kind regards
