game chat error after each sent message, not sent
last month everything i sent in ea app chat was censored for no reason and went thru hell to actually get a live chat with ea suppport which over a week with a few "techs" was pointless. eventually ea app chat went to normal, cool. THEN theres today. everything was fine, played a few games, sent a few in game chat messages to party members then after restarting the game after a few graphics settings i sometimes change depending on the fps i am getting, i try and send an in game chat to party and i get an immediate error message plus no response from party. try again, error message with a bunch of numbers ill never get before the message disappears. same ever since. google said the error is a longstanding known issue tho ive never had it and when i search EA forums with usable keywords nothing comes up. at this point aside from some questionable gameplay decisions by the devs, its clear the lack of support or ability to address errors is a major catalyst to gamers lack of enthusiasm towards anything ea puts out these days.Battlefield 4 in 2026?
Hey! I want to buy and play Battlefield 4 on Steam but I don't know if I should. I'm from Asia, and I heard there were server issues. I checked and saw I had 160-180ms (sometimes even 155ms on a good day!) So, should I? Any fixes, tips, or something you guys got for me? It would be greatly appreciated! (If all goes wrong I'm buying Battlefield 1 instead)Solved102Views1like6CommentsBattlefield V – Armory not working for months
Hello EA Support team, I would like to report an ongoing issue with the Armory in Battlefield V. For couple of months and maybe even half a year now, the Armory has not been functioning properly — it no longer provides any weekly bundles, skins, or featured offers, even though this feature used to work consistently before. I completely understand that Battlefield V is no longer receiving new content updates from DICE or EA Games, but the Armory system was a core and working feature of the game, and it should still be maintained. Players are still purchasing Battlefield V and additional content, and the servers remain active, which clearly shows there is still a dedicated and active community supporting the game. Not long ago, there was also an issue where the community servers were not working properly, and that problem was eventually fixed — which proves that there are still people maintaining the backend and keeping the game functional. We hope that the same kind of maintenance can be done for the Armory system as well. As large and successful companies, DICE and EA Games have the responsibility to ensure that existing features, especially those that were part of the original paid product, continue to function properly. Even if no new content is being developed, basic maintenance and functionality of in-game systems like the Armory should still be supported — particularly since the game is still available for sale and players continue to spend money on it. At the moment, the Armory in Battlefield V only displays a static screen with the message “NO SHIPMENTS AVAILABLE” (as shown in the attached screenshot). It no longer provides any bundles, shipments, or weekly items, confirming that the feature is completely non-functional. This issue has persisted for several months and continues to affect many active players who still enjoy and support the game. In the name of Battlefield V players and myself, I kindly ask you to look into this problem. Please investigate this issue or escalate it to the appropriate team within EA or DICE. Restoring the Armory’s functionality would mean a lot to the Battlefield community and show that EA and DICE still care about maintaining the integrity of their games. Thank you for your time and understanding. Best regards, BF V990Views17likes38CommentsLost of special assignments of 4 classes and a MG
I have been playing this game for maybe about 1000 hours and the machinegun M1922 has already been upgraded to level 10 for several months, together with the level of 4 different classes all to level 20. But I could not find the special assignments for all the things I mentioned above, which means I would lost many brilliant skins. Have already talked with the survice from EA, but it seems they could do nothing but tell me that they have already recorded my question. Could anyone help to get the assignments to me?Solved15Views0likes1CommentBattlefield V Anti-Cheat update failure for China region blocking launch
Hello, I am reporting a critical issue specifically affecting players in China trying to play Battlefield V on PC (via Steam/EA App). Core Problem Upon launching the game, EA Anti-Cheat (EAAC) prompts for an update. However, even if the update appears to complete successfully, the anti-cheat files automatically roll back to an older version (from July 11, 2025) upon the next launch. This causes a persistent update loop, making it impossible to start the game normally. Key Details & Impact This issue is confirmed to primarily affect the China region, suggesting a problem with the regional update servers or configuration. This problem has been ongoing for several months, severely impacting the gaming experience for a significant number of legitimate players. The only known, unreliable workaround involves disconnecting from the internet during the EAAC loading phase to bypass the update check, which is not a sustainable solution. Other players have found that using a network accelerator set for Battlefield 1 can sometimes trigger a proper EAAC update, indirectly allowing Battlefield V to run, which further points to a service-side issue specific to Battlefield V's update pathway in China. Request for Action We kindly request the EA team to urgently investigate and fix the EAAC auto-update mechanism for the China region to ensure players can receive and maintain the latest version correctly. Thank you for your attention to this serious issue.94Views3likes6CommentsBattlefield 1 Crashing Issue
Hello, I am experiencing a persistent crashing issue with Battlefield 1. The game often crashes to desktop without any error message. I have tried several troubleshooting steps, but the problem still occurs. Here’s what I have done so far: Ran the game as administrator. Reinstalled the game via Steam and directly. Verified the game files. Disabled microphone access in Windows (this helped in some cases, but the issue persists). Updated GPU drivers. Installed the latest version of DirectX. Adjusted graphics settings to 720p for testing. Reviewed Event Viewer logs for application errors. Checked Windows and hardware for overheating or issues; RAM, CPU, and GPU are fine. I would greatly appreciate any advice or solutions. If there is a stable NVIDIA GTX 1650 driver version recommended for Battlefield 1, please let me know. Thank you in advance for your help!SolvedBattlefield 1 won't launch on Win10 because EA AntiCheat crash (kernelbase.dll)
Wanted to play some BF1 since I didn't finish the campaigns and to check if the multiplayer is still active. EA version, not Steam. Upon launch EA Anti-Cheat crashes, creating a dump file. Is there a way I can at least play the game in offline mode without the offending software so I can finish the campaign? I paid full price for this game when it came out, I'd very much like to play it. Dxdiag and zipped dump file attached.Solved169Views0likes6Comments
