Error Code 21 & 22 After Latest Update, Unable to Save
After the latest update, my game has become completely unplayable. I initially received Error Code 21 every time I tried to Save or Save As, even after removing all mods and CC, deleting localthumbcache.package, creating a fresh The Sims 4 folder in Documents, and verifying the game files through Steam. Later, another save file also started showing Error Code 22, and the game automatically returned me to the Manage Worlds screen after attempting to save. I also noticed several other issues after the update, including missing roofs, broken floors, dark photos, and occasional crashes during loading. Because of these issues, none of my progress can be saved, making the game impossible to play.
Gallery Lockup
The gallery will allow me to place a few lots/sims, and then lock down showing "reset pack filters" And it wont reset and will only show the gallery again if sims are restarted. I disabled ALL mods and cc and tried running just the base unmodded game and it still did this. Its rather tiresome to have to restart every time the gallery glitches on me.Unable to download gallery content/save family
After the June 30 update I cannot access the gallery or download content anymore. Saving a sim from CAS is also impossible. I have uninstalled and installed the game again, made the game create the new The Sims 4 folder in EA Games, it wprks fine on the first run but then I run into the same bug immediately after I start it up again. I had no CC, tried it without any saves or Tray files, still the same issueUnable to select builds on gallery?
Hey there I've been having this issue on and off for honestly around 4 months and im at a loss for how to fix it. Every so often when I open my gallery I try to select a build/household and it won't let me select it? I've tried removing my mods, going through them, repairing the game, etc. but in every instance it has the same issue of me clicking and nothing happening? I wasn't sure if anyone else faced this issue or if there's a fix im unaware of. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
[GALLERY] [PS] Can't change Featured item/Button doesn't work
Hello, I would like to report a bug on The Sims 4 for PlayStation. (Playing on PS5). Since one of the recent major updates, I can no longer change the featured lot on my Gallery profile. After I upload a new lot to the Gallery, I am unable to click the "Feature" icon in the top-left corner of the upload. The joystick and the directional buttons cannot move the selection to that icon. It is also no longer possible to use the touchpad to control a cursor, so there is no way to select or click the icon. Because of this, I am stuck with the same featured lot on my Gallery profile and cannot change it to any of my newer uploads. This issue has been happening for several months since the update. I'm on the latest patch but already since the Patch before the current one I'm getting lastUIExceptions when opening lots on the Gallery, when I'm starting the game in offline mode. This is happening only when in OFFLINE mode, and only since the change to the Gallery that has changed the UI a lot. I assume some lots are trying to pull information when displaying, that is now causing an Exception with the new UI when not being online. For me this is happening to nearly every second lot in my gallery, most of the lots are saved from the online gallery, so it could have to do with comments on them or items used or some kind if detail, but I could not find the pattern for why some are doing it and some not. The "Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at widgets.Exchange.Detail.controls.TabContentPanel::DetailTabSectionedContentPanelBase/RequestItemsForBundle()" sounds a bit like there are items from a pack that are not getting recognised maybe when offline? I have tested this without mods and don't even need to go into a save file, I can reproduce this from the Main Menu quite fast. It happens to a lot of lots, but not to all lots, I can give some examples below: Preparation steps: While online, go into the public gallery and save following few lots to your personal gallery, these here are some examples that reproduce it each time (once we are offline) : "Whole Foods Grocery Store" by Kells8994 "clothing store" by flaviagabis "Shopping Centre - Mall" by Korbyn77 Repro steps: Go offline and start the game On main menu, open the Gallery (your personal one, given you are offline) Klick on to open any of the above 3 lots (and many more if you want to try your own as well) and you will get a lastUIException, and from now on will have troubles opening anything in the gallery, the lots in the gallery are now unresponsive when tapping on them to open LastUIException text: This is how it looks like when i try to open them, they don't render the "information" and i stop being able to interact: And these are some of the lots, as described above:
[GALLERY] Place button for lots/Sims disappears after placing several
I play on a windows gaming laptop with direct x 11 and no mods/cc ever and in a recent vanilla game after the most recent update (16/04) I found I can only place up to maybe five lots or houses before I can no longer place anymore. When I open the gallery and click on the lot I want to place it doesn't even have the option to place or place and edit. Once this has happened I can then no longer save a lot as the option just doesn't pop up even when I click save lot. The only way to "fix" this is to completely exit the game and then clear all the cache files etc out of the EA folder then reload the game but it still happens each time I reload my game which is frustrating when you are just starting out and wanting to replace certain buildings with your own. Gallery not loading and can't save
Hi, recently I experienced a bug with the gallery and when saving my game, during CAS and during gameplay. I got it fixed after reinstalling the game, but after relaunching the game again today, the bug happened again. I checked the files with steam, nothing work, I also looked at people bug report and solution, nothing seems to work. I tried removing localthumbscache.package, that didn't work either, so I'm kinda lost.. I don't know if the issue is me and my PC or Sims 4 as a whole. For the save I get the error 34 and 21 when saving as a new slot. Even after following the steps to resolve those issues, they still appears, I don't have mods/CC installed in my pc. I have enough space to load and save. I think those bugs appeared after the last update from June 30, and maybe glitched my game.Does anything determine the poses that sims do in the Gallery?
For example, Ive noticed some parents hold their newborn close and some far away with a pinched nose. But also the poses of the other age groups; do traits, relationship, compatibility, and things like that affect the poses they choose? Thank you
