Windows/Doors glitch into walls
Basically the game isnt recognizing its a window. It happens with open door frames or regular doors too. The doors are functional but in game the windows look like walls with a window frame like the photo. Build mode, Live Mode, and Shows it in the gallery. Gallery showing no results
Starting yesterday the results Ive gotten looking for items on the gallery have been less than expected. Its only providing any options for the "newest" option. when clicking popular now or most popular there are no results. For example I am searching for a household that only has one sim in it that is a cat(this also is the same for dogs). What I expect are hundreds of results for any of the newest, popular now and most popular results. What I get instead are as follows: Newest: Most popular: Popular now: What's odd is if I search with the same filters and a hashtag or item name I then get MORE and the expected results instead of less which is confusing to me considering Ive only added delimiters here. Its also taking several minutes to load any option or selection I make, when I try to scroll down and any other thing that would need the gallery to connect to the database its data is in. This is causing me to think that there might be some kind of timeout or loading issue occurring with the cloud service that contains gallery data. I've never not gotten some kind of result for what I would consider a very generic search I have done many times before. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title
[GALLERY] 'Timed Out' error when saving lot to Library/Gallery
What is happening: Prior to the Jan 13 update, I received a generic "server error" when I tried to save lots to my gallery. Following the patch notes that said that this issue was fixed, I went through some of my lots to back them up to my library with my updated game. Attempting to upload a lot now gives me an error message reading "Timed out during upload. Please check internet connection or try again in a minute." When I exit out from this message by clicking "Okay," I return to the window that allows you to set bedrooms/bathrooms and add a description to the lot before uploading. After a minute or two, I then get a green pop-up notification in the corner that the lot has been saved to my library, and it is indeed there when I check. I have not yet tested this with the "Upload to Gallery" button, only the "Save to Library" button. What I expect to see: I think it would be more useful to just have the "uploading to Gallery" loading animation for longer if it is just continuing to upload it in the background, as it's more reliable than getting an error message and then it actually working a couple of minutes later. Gallery screenshot is blocked by trees/objects on several lots
There is an old thread about this issue from 8 years ago but since this is now an issue again, I want to report it. As the title says, when uploading a lot to the Gallery/Library the game generates the first screenshot wrong. Only showing trees instead of the house view. You don't see the lot anymore because trees are in front. [GALLERY] Follower Names anonymous/Empty Profiles
My gallery has been like this from the beginning from the year and in between I have reset my pc I have repaired my pc, and I have fixed bugs with my game so I'm assuming this is an online error from the EA server for the gallery when I go to my friends list on the gallery some of the people I have Followed say they are anonymous but when I go to their profile I get there full name I also searched for other people with this problem and so far, I could not find anyone Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title
Placing lots from the gallery freezes game/endless loading
Computer: PC, Windows 10 I am having issues with the game after the February 25th update where trying to use the gallery effectively doesn't work. I am connected to the internet and initially it'll work fine but when trying to use it repeatedly, such as trying out multiple uploaded lots, the gallery will become stuck on the loading screen and won't load anymore lots, and will tell me that it is having issues. I have tried updating my drivers, removing the tray file, removing all mods, and repairing the game but it still keeps happening. These attempts initially worked for a bit but eventually the gallery would freeze again. Any help would be appreciated. I also recently upgraded my computer so it is possible that it's related to that but as far as I can tell my GPU, CPU and ram is all working as intended. Again, I made sure drivers were updated as I heard that that could cause some issues. 'There was an error uploading your item to the Gallery'
Ever since patch 1.117.221.1020 (August 19, 2025) I have had this error when trying to upload Lots to the Gallery; whereas, prior to the August 19th patch everything worked perfectly/as expected. So far, I have: Removed Mods; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists Repaired the Game several times; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists Started a Fresh/New Save; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists Re-saved Lot to Library and tried to upload a new copy; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists. Reset the Game to Factory settings without Reinstalling via Crinrict's site; which also didn't make a difference.
