Issue redeeming Sims 3 World codes
Hi, Not sure what’s going on, so hoping someone here can help. I bought the Sims 3 World Bundle today and got 2 active codes, but I can’t redeem either of them. I tried both codes on these two sites: store.thesims3 myaccount.ea Neither site works for me and the codes won’t go through. Has anyone had this problem before? Is there another place to redeem Sims 3 world bundle codes, or is this an EA or Sims 3 Store issue? Any help would be appreciated. The Sims 3 Store Daily Deal offers a selected store item at a discounted price for one, two or three hours. Many of the items are discounted at 75% off or more. The current Daily Deal list, which was introduced on September 23, 2014 at 12:07 a.m. UTC, includes 977 deals. After the 977th deal ends, the deals begin at Deal 1 again. A full rotation of the list takes 82 days. (See this post for background information about the Daily Deal list.) The first page of this thread has been set up to include the list of the deals, and to include information that was available on the first page of the previous DD threads. To the first time user, this thread contains a lot of information. However, EA_Cade posted in Answers HQ that "This issue should now be resolved with the latest EA app update (please ensure that you are on EA app build 12.115.0.5372 or later). I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled but unfortunately it didn't help. I am experiencing sporadic login issues on the forums, where I am being logged out randomly. I'm unable to log in to the Sims 3 Store to download the content I purchased. It just resets back to the main page without logging me in. I own the entire store, so this is a major problem for me. Other people are also having issues with the Sims 3 store and the forums. What the heck is EA doing with their websites? Has EA decided to abandon the Sims 3 players?? EA, please respond and let us know why this is happening and if there is anything we can do. Overview There is currently an issue with the EA App where installed Sims 3 Store content uninstalls itself or otherwise disappears from the game when it was previously working. The most obvious symptom of this is that in the launcher, the content's thumbnail turns into a box: Reinstalling the content works some of the time, but not always, and the items will frequently disappear again later, perhaps as soon as the next time the game loads. If the player reuses the previously downloaded Sims3Packs rather than downloading fresh copies, the install will likely fail to install and produce this error: If you are affected, please click Me Too at the bottom of this post. Reinstalling store content Please keep in mind that you cannot reuse your old downloads. If you do, you'll likely get the "Installation failed" error. The most thorough approach to reinstalling is to start with a clean user folder: move or rename the Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts and open the launcher to spawn a new one. Download your store items a few at a time and install them, then move your saves and other existing content to the corresponding subfolders within the new Sims 3 folder. Please keep in mind that this is a temporary fix at best. Hello, I'm trying to install custom content on the launcher but it tells me "there are no packages to install" I'm not sure what to do, I tried clearing my cache and restarting my laptop. I also tried removing my Sims 3 document files to generate a new one I know it can be installed as package files through other ways but i'd still want my launcher to work. That list includes Dragon Valley, Hidden Springs, Monte Vista, Roaring Heights, and sometimes Barnacle Bay. If you bought a Store world with SimPoints and it's not appearing in your purchase history on the Store site, please contact EA customer support and request that the SimPoints from the failed purchase be added back to your account. How to register a Store world jump to: My code doesn't work jump to: I can't install the world When you purchase a standalone Sims 3 world from Origin or the EA App, you should receive an email confirmation from EA. If you don't see this, check your spam filter. This email should include one product code per item, as shown here in the blacked-out red box: IMPORTANT: Some players have reported finding their product codes on ea.com, under Account Settings > Order History, so please look there as well. If this isn't working for you, try a different browser. Firefox generally works best with the Store site. It is generally unnecessary to sign into the launcher before attempting to download or install Store content. However, this has helped some players, so it's worth trying. Mac users only: if you see an Error Downloading Content {0}, please repair the game in Origin, restart your computer, and try again. If the world still won't download properly, try a clean Sims 3 user folder. Rename the existing "The Sims 3" folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, open the launcher to create a new folder, and try to download only that world. If it works, you can move the downloaded world from the new Sims 3 folder to the old one you renamed, trash the new folder, and change the old one's name back to "The Sims 3." Downloaded Store items are found in the Downloads subfolder and have the extension .Sims3Pack. Be sure to delete any older downloads of the world before moving over the fresh copy. If the world downloads properly but doesn't install, please try a clean Sims 3 user folder as well. Rename the existing "The Sims 3" folder in Documents > Electronic Arts, open the launcher to create a new folder, download only that world, and try to install it. If this works, you can install the rest of your Store content into that folder, then move over your saves and any other files you'd like to keep. Please see this guide for a list. I purchased the worlds bundle and tried to enter the code on EA app, it gave me an error message and told me to enter the code via the sims3 store and gave a code which is broken. So i go to the Sims3 store manually and try to access the redeem codes page and it errors and says the page is down, if you try to go to your account and order history it also errors. Questions: Does EA actually know this is broken? Is there somewhere we can see how long we have to wait until it's fixed? Do the keys sent via email ever expire? I woke up this morning and noticed this where my custom sims avatars are not showing and these 2 pics will show I have sims uploaded in the exchange. It may fix on it's own but I thought I share this issue on here just so someone is aware. There is a new issue with the my pages giving error 404 page not found.
