Are We Being Abandoned??

I am experiencing sporadic login issues on the forums, where I am being logged out randomly. I'm unable to log in to the Sims 3 Store to download the content I purchased. It just resets back to the main page without logging me in. I own the entire store, so this is a major problem for me. Other people are also having issues with the Sims 3 store and the forums.

What the heck is EA doing with their websites? Has EA decided to abandon the Sims 3 players??

EA, please respond and let us know why this is happening and if there is anything we can do. I am finding nothing but crickets on the posts about these issues that I have located when I can access the forums.

    As far as I've read, it's considered a real problem that really needs fixing, not an unofficial sunset of the site.  As for this website, it's had its issues since it went live, with many being resolved and some new problems appearing as the site has been built out.  You can post feedback here (I think you know that already, but others reading may not):

    The site signs people out if it's been more than eight hours since they signed in.  I think this is by design but don't know that I've seen confirmation.  If you're being booted more frequently, a report might be useful to the forum admins.

    At any rate, the issues with this site have nothing to do with how EA feels about Sims 3.  The site issues affect all games' forums more or less equally.

  • I haven't been able to log into the store for 1.5 weeks. This has never happened before. It really does feel like the sims 3 website has been abandoned. I would really appreciate an update from EA. I doubt they are putting any priority into fixing it. If they had it would have been fixed after a day or two. If they don't fix it soon I want a refund for the simpoints I purchased!

  • I have the same problem with Sims 3 store. My friend Works for EA and she say that EA no longer is responsable for The Sims 3 Store. And she dont know who is responsable, now.

    I also own the store + i downloade from Exchange, once a week. its a totaly downer, to play without content now. My computer crashed yesterday, and i was forced to reinstall Windows, AND Sims 3.

    I just hate playing without content.

    Well this is totally unacceptable. We have all paid a ton of money for the content. To not have access to it is robbery.

    I have repeatedly downloaded the store and saved it all in a file but very often it just will not install unless I re-download it.

    I know there are other ways to get store content and fixes but we shouldn't have to resort to that when we paid for it all fair and square.

    How to we get some attention to this matter? Who do we contact?

  • I was curious to see if this is a problem for everyone so I took a look at the exchange. There are plenty of new uploads from just today so it looks like its not happening to everyone. I've tried using different browsers (Chrome and Microsoft Edge) and tried logging in from the launcher, on the store page and in game. Nothing works.  Log in issues are nothing new but I've never seen this before. When I click on the login Icon on the store site, the page just refreshes. Previously I could click on the My Page icon and it would automatically log me in. Ioggin in with the launcher has always been sporadic.  I am currently playing without the EA app, as I'm working on a world build and playing from disc and this has not prevented me from accessing the store until now.

    Anyone have any ideas what it could be on our end, for those of us who cannot access the store?

    Or at least give us a warning in advance, so we can download and backup our stuff.
