[XB/PS] Can't Claim event rewards/Connect to gallery/No Gallery
When I go to claim the rewards it says that I must be connected to the internet. I am connected to the internet and I've checked the settings and everything else. I should be able to claim them but no matter what I do I get the same pop up. Ive tried claiming them from the menu and live mode. Nothing seems to be working. Im on console (ps4) and have the latest update. Edit By Crinrict: Added pack tag to title. Posted by EA_Solaire in this thread From the main menu of The Sims, please head into Game Options-> Other and select the Link EA Account button. From here, you'll be prompted to accept the updated terms and conditions. Once this is accepted, you should be able to claim your rewards normally again. If you're still seeing this error and can't claim your rewards after trying this, please let us know!
event items not added to account
I have finished the Nature's Calling event and claimed all the rewards but it appears as though some of them have not been correctly added to my account. For example, I am missing the Touch Grass Weekly #3 even though I have #1, #2 and #4. I also appear to be missing the recipe for the Wooden Throne even though I was able to make it originally to complete the quest. I have checked in build/buy mode and filtered by 'event' items but the missing items are not there. I noticed this when I loaded up my household and it told me an item needed to be removed as it wasn't on my account - this turned out to be the Touch Grass Weekly #3 which I had placed down before. So something appears to have gone wrong between the play session when I finished the event and now. I have tried repairing my game but it doesn't help. I don't use mods or have any custom content.[EBN] [NCQE] Nature Nomad doesn't count for completing nature aspiration
One of the quests in the Nature's Calling rewards event requires that you complete one level of a nature aspiration. The Nature Nomad aspiration is listed under the nature category in the list of aspirations, but when I completed the first level, it didn't show up as counting towards the quest requirements, even after exiting to Manage Worlds and switching back and forth between a different aspiration a couple of times. I tried a base game nature aspiration instead, Freelance Botanist, and that worked, but I think the quest should recognize the Nature Nomad aspiration as a nature aspiration for the rewards event. Despite completing this collection for the Nature's Calling event, I did not receive the reward plaque by mail. I even went to a different household, had that Sim complete the "Touch Grass Weekly" Collection, but even after waiting an in-game week, neither Sim that I played with received the Collection Plaque. I do not have any mods. My current fix was to just get a copy of the plaque from the gallery. It's a bit of a bummer that I didn't get the plaque normally though. When I received the event reward for “Nature Sounds” as a New Music Station, I can play the “Nature Sounds” station through earbuds but not the stereo. I tried multiple stereos, but none of them worked. I also restarted my game to see if it just needed to be refreshed to show up, and it still won't show up on the stereo. I would like to enjoy the new reward and use it properly. Note: I play on PC
Nature's Calling Event progress same on different platforms? Glitch or Normal?
I have Sims 4 on 2 different platforms: PC & Xbox. On PC I have many packs and on Xbox, few. I played through the Nature's Calling Event only in my PC version, with characters I made specially for the Event. On that version, I found out the hard way, at the very end, that, although the rules state that "optional" quests don't count toward points totals to finish the Event, that is not true if one of the "optional" quests is from a pack you own. In my case, I had just adopted a dog before the quest asked me to do so, and I didn't want to adopt another. I own Cats & Dogs (clearly), BUT the quest said "optional," so I ignored it. However, at the very end of the Event, I ended up 10 points short of being able to claim the last reward item, with no more quests available to earn any more points. 10 points was exactly the amount I would have earned on the "optional" quest I ignored. Having now understood this, I tried to go onto my Xbox account to do the Event with a character I had made for the Reaper Event previously, because she had full Gardening and high Handiness skills and could get through the Event in these last few days quickly. But, when I clicked on the Nature's Calling Event overlay, it showed the exact same progression that my PC character had gone through: Finished Event with last reward item unattainable. How is this possible, with 2 separate platforms? I DO have my accounts linked on EA so they know that both belong to me as same person, but, if packs don't link on 2 platforms, why are Events? I don't want to unlink them, but I do want to know if this is normal or a glitch? There's not much time in the Event left.
