Where is Title Update 1.0.2 or 1.2 to Patch Manager Career Mode Issues?
Numerous problems in Manager Career mode have been reported for the past fifty-five days (August 5th, first day of closed beta testing) and zero hotfixes or Title Updates have addressed any of the gamebreaking elements, and the game remains completely unplayable, since the start of beta testing, through the September 17th early release, and continues on a week past full game launch. Because no official EA announcement has occurred yet, the probability of a Title Update this week appears minimal. In addition, when viewing issues in the EA FC 27 Trello board, this report is set to be investigated: [Career Mode] Players may request a transfer without notifying the manager In some cases during Manager Career, players may secretly request a transfer without sending any prior messages or complaints, even if their morale is high. When this occurs, managers will find themselves unable to block incoming transfer offers for the affected players. What is point of ensuring messages from players regarding transfer request submissions are visible in Player Conversation tab after the fact? Developers need to completely redesign player squad roles, required playing time for each squad role, and reformulate the new Dynamic OVR system. Current Game Status: Players demand Crucial or Important squad roles even when existing players at the same position have an overall rating of four or more points higher. Critical squad role players play every minute of every match and there is a ninety percent chance or higher will submit a transfer request within the first three months of a new Manager Career mode save. Important squad role players play every minute of every match and there is an eighty percent chance they will submit a transfer request in the first five months. If an Important role player is substituted at the end of a match, does not get credit for playing in the match and triggers immediate submission within ten days. Rotations squad role players must play a minimum of sixty-five to seventy percent of matches to avoid transfer request, and must play from the first minute, until end of match to get gametime credit. Sporadic squad role players must play a minimum of fifty percent of matches to avoid transfer request, and must play from the first minute, until end of match to get gametime credit. Many of the squad role and playing time issues have been in the game for over a decade, dating back to FIFA 14, and remain completely broken. With the new Dynamic OVR features compiled on top of the broken role system, nearly every player in the squad is at risk of random transfer request submissions, similar to the broken Club Transfer system that was not patched after reporting on December 2, 2025, and the national team hardcodes from The World Game compounded the problem, which to this day, are still ignored.18Views1like0CommentsCareer mode is a mess!
I love Career Mode. I’ve played it ever since it came out. My first issue is transfer requests. Injured players are automatically unhappy, whilst I understand that, they shouldn’t be telling me they want out because their ACL is buggered! Fix this immediately. Im not making a new career mode investing all my time into it just for a player to return from injury and immediately want to leave, also sort the morale out, a very happy player shouldn’t be requesting a move away, its not immersion, its a pain in the arse for the people trying to dedicate their time to a realistic career mode. Also, bring back office meetings with players for signing them and negotiating a new contract, I like the idea of the new negotiations, but add some variety, sometimes you’ll meet in a restaurant, and sometimes you’ll be on the phone to them. Bring back sharpness too, if a player has an injury, let us get them back to full fitness instead of being able to play someone for a full 90+ mins after they’ve just come back from a ACL. Please EA, we’re not asking much, just sort your stuff out and give us what we pay for every single year.31Views0likes0CommentsSelling/Loaning youth players and fitness chaos
Hey there, I recognize two problems in career mode, let me talk about that: it is nearly impossible to sell or loan youth players or bad players. I put them on the transfer list but getting no offers. This is really bad in regard to their dynamic OVR and the potential. This needs to be fixed quickly. the second thing is about the fitness. In FC26 it was possible to play for example high pressing and after 6 days of rest I could let play the same starting 11. now I have to switch the squad every game because of the bad fitness. And players with high fitness have the same problems. This leads the players to transfer offers because they are mad that they don’t play every game. So on the one hand they must understand that they only will not play because of their fitness or on the other hand the fitness system has to be fixed. Can you please give that to the teamEA_Darko ? thanks a lot!45Views2likes0CommentsRandom/default scouts in settings
Dear EA Sports FC team, I would like to share some feedback about Career Mode, particularly regarding the Youth Academy and youth scout system. I am an autistic player, and I also live with ME/CFS, which means that my available energy is very limited. Because of my autism, I strongly prefer to start a Career Mode save with a clear and predictable setup. For me, having good youth scouts from the beginning is an important part of being able to enjoy the career. At the moment, if I want to start with high-quality youth scouts, I can end up repeatedly restarting a career until the scouts available to me meet the criteria I am comfortable with. This can take 30 minutes or more before I can even properly begin playing. For many players this may seem like a minor inconvenience. For an autistic player, however, an unpredictable starting setup can become a genuine barrier to starting the game at all. And because I have ME/CFS, spending a large amount of my limited energy repeatedly restarting a save is particularly frustrating. I would therefore like to suggest an accessibility/quality-of-life option in Career Mode: Allow players to choose the starting quality of their youth scouts when creating a new career. For example, players could choose: - Random/default scouts - 3-star scouts - 4-star scouts - 5-star scouts This would not remove any existing gameplay option. Players who enjoy starting with weaker scouts could simply leave the setting on default, while players who need or prefer a predictable setup could choose their starting scouts themselves. I think this could be particularly helpful for autistic players, players with OCD or other conditions where unpredictability can make certain game mechanics unnecessarily difficult. It would also benefit players who simply want to create a specific Career Mode challenge without spending a significant amount of time resetting their save. I am not asking for the game to be made easier for everyone. I am asking for an additional choice that would allow different players to configure the beginning of Career Mode in a way that works for them. I really enjoy Career Mode, and I would love to see more accessibility options like this in future updates. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. Kind regards, Gio13Views0likes0CommentsCareer’s mode
Career Mode in FC 27 is currently extremely frustrating and, in my experience, almost unplayable because of several serious issues. First of all, my players constantly ask to be transfer-listed even when everything seems completely fine. They regularly start matches, get plenty of playing time, and there are no obvious problems with their role in the squad, but they still suddenly become unhappy and request a transfer. This happens far too often and makes long-term squad building extremely frustrating. The Dynamic Potential / player development system also seems to work very strangely. For example, I can have a player who is consistently performing well, scoring goals, providing assists, and playing almost every match, but his attributes or development can still start declining. It does not seem to properly reflect the player’s actual performances. AI-controlled transfers are another major issue. Transfers involving players and managers at other clubs are often extremely unrealistic. After a few seasons, many teams start to look completely unrealistic because of strange transfers and managerial changes made by the AI. It seriously hurts the immersion of Career Mode. Injuries also seem far too frequent. I understand that injuries are part of football and they should happen, but having players get injured almost every match does not feel realistic at all. There needs to be a much better balance. There is also an annoying issue with custom tactics. Whenever I create or add a new tactic, my players often automatically change positions or get moved around in the lineup. I then have to manually put everyone back into their correct positions every single time. Please stop tactics from automatically changing the player’s position in the starting XI unless the user chooses to do so. Gameplay passing also needs serious attention. I understand that passing should not be 100% accurate and mistakes are part of real football, but right now far too many simple passes fail to reach the intended teammate. Even basic short passes can randomly go in the wrong direction or directly to an opponent. It makes build-up play extremely frustrating and sometimes feels like the game is ignoring the player’s input. EA, please address these issues: Players requesting transfers despite receiving regular playing time Strange Dynamic Potential / player development behaviour Unrealistic AI player transfers and managerial changes Excessive injuries Custom tactics automatically changing player positions Extremely inconsistent passing and player input A lot of Career Mode players have been talking about these problems, and they seriously affect the experience. I genuinely want to enjoy Career Mode, but right now these issues make it very difficult to play for a long period of time. Please investigate and fix these problems in future updates. Career Mode has a lot of potential, but it needs much more attention.106Views2likes1CommentCUTSCENE!!!
I'm starting to think that ea does not care about ps4. No signing cutscene, no full match intro and many else! Please add them ea. And also, when I scored in mc, it shows how many goals the player have scored but there's a bug below it. Also there's undefined player when they show after the match. PLEASE FIX THIS.14Views0likes0CommentsFix FC 27 Simulation Gameplay Collapse, Passing Errors & Acceleration Flaws
Dear EA Development Team, I am writing to report a critical collapse and severe lack of balance in the Simulation Gameplay settings on the PC platform after playing 3 full seasons in FC 27. The realistic gameplay mode is highly unstable, broken, and deeply unrealistic. Here are the specific gameplay issues that need immediate fixing: 1. Simulation Gameplay Instability & Density: The realistic simulation style is completely broken. The spacing between players on the pitch is totally unrealistic. Due to extreme congestion and tightness, it is nearly impossible to retain possession. Players do not even have enough time to receive or control the ball before it is instantly stripped away by opponents, making the game feel more like a wrestling match than football. 2. Broken Passing Mechanics: All types of passing suffer from exaggerated errors. Ground passes, through balls, crosses, and long balls are heavily flawed. High through balls and long passes frequently fly out of bounds. Meanwhile, the AI opponent intercepts passes flawlessly from any distance and from impossible angles. 3. Unstable Physical Fouls & Tactical Interceptions: Physical challenges, tactical fouls, and shirt-pulling or pushing mechanics are completely unstable and inconsistent. The refereeing logic fails to properly detect and penalize illegal physical contacts like pushing and pulling, while professional tactical fouls lack logical rules during matches. 4. Automatic Replay Skip Bug: The game frequently and automatically skips the replays of close attacks and dangerous shots. The game must be fixed to ensure that match replays for high-danger chances and close shots are always displayed and never skipped automatically. 5. Unfair Acceleration and Speed Balances: The acceleration dynamic is completely broken. There is no balance between teams, as the AI consistently possesses overwhelming superiority in speed, acceleration, and physical challenges, regardless of the individual players' statistics. 6. Flawed Match-End Logic: The referee blows the final whistle the exact second the clock runs out, even during an active counter-attack. The game must allow an advantage rule for last-minute attacks. I expect a realistic football simulation as promised. I hope the development team investigates these Simulation Gameplay defects immediately and delivers a balancing hotfix. I am playing the manager career mode. When I go to extend my players' contracts—for instance, if we agree on a 4-year term—the game treats the active contract as having 3 years remaining and starts the extension one year short. This creates a major issue for players whose contracts I intend to extend by only 1 or 2 years.61Views1like1CommentSevere bugs in manager Mode – Transfers, Team Sheets, Player Growth, and Morale
Huge issues in Career Mode: Transfers: Signings not arriving: When I sign a player, it states they will join in the next transfer window, but they never show up. Sold players not leaving: When I sell a player, the game says they will depart during the upcoming transfer window, yet they remain in my squad indefinitely. Contract renegotiation bug: When negotiating with a player and attempting to counter-offer, the game suddenly triggers absurd demands, forcing salary demands of €800k–€900k/week. Team & Squad Management: Zero squad control / Broken Team Sheets: Whenever I set and save my Starting 11 and substitutes, the game automatically resets them. Random players are placed into the starting lineup and bench as soon as I go back into the menu. Forced player transfer requests: Starting a brand-new career mode, the top players immediately demand transfer requests on Day 1 without giving any chance or option to prevent it. No Player Overall Growth: Young/in-form players are not developing properly. Even when playing regularly as starters and maintaining top form, their dynamic potential and overall ratings barely increase. Forced Captaincy changes: I should have full control over choosing the team captain instead of getting forced board emails demanding a change. Gameplay & Morale: Clunky aerial duels & trips: During aerial challenges, players constantly lose balance, trip over themselves, and lose the ball. (This tripping/stumbling animation bug has been present for over 5 years now). Broken Morale & Substitution Logic: Young or lower-rated players instantly request transfers or demand game time. The system only registers starting appearances—subbing them in as bench players does not satisfy them. Furthermore, if you sub off a key starter to give a sub some minutes, you immediately get an angry email from the starter complaining about being taken off. EVERY YEAR, BUY NEW GAME, AT FINAL YOU BUY NEW BUGS!!! 😡44Views3likes0Comments
