[HSY] Issues with active highschool UI/ Showing as Holiday UI
It seems like in the newest update High School Days got an update how it displays the school day, by making it like the Holidays from Seasons, I've found a few bugs with this, number 1: When clicking to leave there is no time left how long the school day will take, but there are empty spaces. Number 2: School Starts/Lunch ends... has no actual time when it ends And last 3: (Don't have a screenshot for this one) When you got a task complete the new one won't show up/it won't update till you switch to another sim and back. I have applied the latest update for the PC version (1.114.46.1030), but when I go to school on a day when a holiday is set, the high school tasks do not appear. Only the holiday tasks appear. I tried canceling the holidays, but this only resulted in the holiday tasks disappearing, and the high school tasks did not appear on that day. I noticed after updating my game to the latest version that whenever my sims travel to a different lot, the outfit that they're wearing shown at their portrait at the bottom left changes/reverts to the outfit that they're wearing from the last time I've manually saved in that specific outfit. In the attachments is a new game in a fresh new Sims 4 folder after repairing the game where: My sim loaded into a new empty lot in the red striped shirt+jacket. I then changed his outfit into the suit and after traveling to another lot (desert bloom), he's still wearing the suit but the outfit in his portrait reverts to the initial outfit he was wearing. I changed his outfit once again into the denim top/shorts one (his portrait also changed to display the correct outfit after choosing to change his outfit) and traveled to the rattlesnake juice and once again, it reverted back to the red striped shirt combo. I then saved with him wearing the denim top/shorts. I change his outfit once again to one where he's wearing a hat and black overalls and travel to the futures past and the portrait outfit changed but now it's showing the denim top outfit instead of the red stripe shirt outfit.2.3KViews244likes58Comments[S] Scouts Badge Progress UI missing text

Since the 5/27/25 patch, I can't consecutively click on sims in the household to see what they need to complete in the way of traditions. If I open the menu with one sim, when I click the sim icon for the next household member, the menu needs to be reopened. After today's patch, the UI for active high school is using the holiday format instead of the active career format, which looks broken and is missing a lot of information. In this format, the countdowns are not displayed. The tasks also don't automatically visually update during transitions between free time and class. I assume that's because the holiday UI is not designed to have dynamic tasks. Additionally, this format seems to conflict with actual holidays. If there is a holiday active (including surprise holidays), then the tasks are not visible at all. I followed four teen sims to active high school on The Lottery, and only The Lottery was shown in the UI. I was only able to fix this by ending the holiday before sending my teens to school. I have come across a bug that seems to relate to the way the game handles generating the pie menu when clicking on another sim that only happens when the number of available interaction options without a pie menu category goes over the maximum of 8 shown per pie menu "page". It results in a second "More choices..." option to appear, that also splits the pie sub-menu/category options from the remaining interaction that are without a pie menu category. While this is extremely rare in unmodded Sims 4, it does have an increased likelihood of happening with mods, as those can add additional interactions without a pie menu category. Platform: PC Game version: 1.114.46.1030 Mod usage: Bug can appear in an unmodded game, but increased likelihood with mods Last exception: Bug does not generate any exceptions What is also annoying is that once you have clicked one of these "More Choices..." options, the other options will return the pie menu of the one that you clicked first once and only after going back and clicking the other option again, will the right pie menu be shown. Steps to recreate the bug in unmodded TS4: Make a household with 2 sims Add both the Freeze and Transform version of the SimRay to Sim 1's inventory so that the "Freeze Ray" & "Transform" interactions become available Add Bibbity-Basic's Tarot Deck to Sim 1's inventory so that the two "Offer Tarot Reading" interactions become available Travel with Sim 1 & 2 to a lot with sand so "Build Sand Sculpture Together" becomes available Add a mural that can be painted and a yoga mat to the lot Make Sim 1 paint the mural and once finished let Sim 2 deface the mural, so that "Scold" becomes available Click with Sim 2 on the yoga mat to "Request a Yoga Instructor" and then ask the yoga instructor to "Start a Yoga Class..." of either the "Mind Concentration", "Brain Boosting" or "Energy Centering" type, so "Join <Type> Class" becomes available for Sim 1 Make Sim 1 go far enough away from Sim 2 that "Call over" and "Call Over Group" (As you are in a travel group) becomes available Once you click Sim 2 with Sim 1 as your active sim, you should now get the bug From my testing the bug only seems to happen when clicking on a sim that isn't the active one. Furthermore, I would guess that the bug occurs in the C++ part of the game's codebase, as the return object of simulation.server_commands.interaction_commands.create_pie_menu_message() seems normal and this is then almost immediately passed from python to the non-scripting part of the codebase in simulation.server_commands.interaction_commands.generate_choices(), as far as I understand it. Again, while it is quite hard to meet the condition in unmodded Sims 4 and - as far as I can tell - completely impossible to do with just the base game, it is quite possible to reach it with a few mods. E.g. When using MC Command Center (Extremely popular) with Andrew's Pose Player (also still quite popular) then 3/8 slots of the pie menu options are already filled, as MC Command Center adds one interaction without a category that is always available and Andrew's Pose Player adds another 2. With those 3, only having a tarot deck in Sim 1's inventory, having traveled to a Sulani beach with Sim 2 and being a bit further away from Sim 2 would already trigger the bug. As we get 2 interactions from the tarot deck, the "Build Sand Sculpture Together" interaction from being on a beach/sand and the two "Call over" interactions, resulting in 9 interactions without a category in total. I recently encountered an issue with UI disappearing after loading from any screen to LIve Mode. So far, I have encountered this when taking a photo, leaving Build Mode, and loading a lot from traveling. Some things to note: I play on PC and own every piece of DLC. My game is updated to the recent version. This is a fresh install of The Sims 4. I even deleted the game file in which Mods, Screenshots, Saves, etc. are held. The only thing I kept were tray files and accountDataDB.package. I have already repaired my game. I have tested this in several ways. I can only replicate the bug in a household currently in a Scenario. I can even play a household in the same save as a Scenario household and it seems to be unaffected. When this bug occurs, I have to refresh the game. Occasionally, I can exit to the main menu and it will be fine. Other times, exiting to the main menu causes a black screen and I have to force close the game. I would say this bug occurs 25%-50% of the time. Packs I have Installed: All EPs GPs, vintage glamour, goth galore, luxury party, bust the dust, nifty knitting, paranormal, toddler stuff, my first pet stuff, grunge revival, cozy gamer, backyard stuff, and throwback fits. and I am running the latest version today I opened the cheats bar and when I look at the cheat bar it looked stretched and is this intended? since I know with the new update, notifications had shading added, but i know the cheat bar does not have shading.
