I have applied the latest update for the PC version (1.114.46.1030), but when I go to school on a day when a holiday is set, the high school tasks do not appear. Only the holiday tasks appear.
I tried canceling the holidays, but this only resulted in the holiday tasks disappearing, and the high school tasks did not appear on that day. My grades were not displayed at the end of the day either.
I too am having this issue. When my sim travels to the high school no tasks pop up at all but the holidays are still showing. Sometimes the other students/teachers will show up and sometimes no one will show up at all.
My mods and CC have all been removed from the game to test as well and still no luck.
This is very strange. Using the holiday UI can't be an accident, it requires specific changes that you could never possibly do by mistake. I wonder if they fixed it *and* had a UI update planned but accidentally pushed the UI update before it was ready or something.
Or maybe having the holiday UI was the only way to have goals for multiple people in the family. But in that case, it's still...very very weird that the UI is missing information and outright doesnt work with holidays!

If this was the case, it was a poor choice. The previous UI worked fine as it was.
Fix one, break another...
I’m having the same problem and I don’t even use mods. Is it a glitch in the game
well, no, it didnt. hence the fix being required to make things work for multiple sims at once- something holidays support.
from what I understand the old UI broke when they set a flag in the high school situations differently and I am not sure why they would do that or not simply undo it, but there was indeed a fix needed because the previous UI explicitly was not working.
Same issue here, but this isn't happening when there's an active holiday, this is just happening everytime I go to High School. Instead it uses the High School UI. It's still functional though, and it updates throughout the day and gives me the progress for completing the tasks.

was marked as a duplicate to this one, but it’s not 1:1 the same bug. High school tasks appear using holiday UI even when there is no other holiday taking place.
The other thread refers to high school tasks being displayed with holiday UI whether there is an ongoing holiday or not. The current thread seems to imply this bug only occurs on in-game holidays and results in high school tasks not appearing at all.
