Engineers now get 5 RPGs?!
So let me get this straight. Engineers using the Anti Armor training path, once they reach a certain point, now start with 5 RPGs. They no longer need to have a support player drop them an ammo bag? Because it wasn't enough that one guy with the base 3 RPGs could make life impossible for a tank, helicopter, or jet? Let alone that at any given time, 14 of the 32 players on a team are usually engineers, pelting every vehicle with RPGs from all directions. Sniping helicopters and even jets out of the sky in one shot basically for free. Now they have even more room for error with the braindead atrocity that is the BF6 RPG. Brilliant. If you didn't believe that Battlefield Studios just wants vehicles in BF6 to be big pretty piñata's that go boom for the infantry players to go ooh and ahh at, I don't know what more proof you need. Air vehicles die in one shot to everything. Tanks crap their pants when they see one guy with an RPG. What happened to Battlefield being about combined arms warfare? Why is the state of vehicles in this game so utterly miserable? Why is something that is so blatantly busted, to the point that every engineer exclusively uses it over every other option, essentially receiving a buff? What is this game anymore?! Look, I know I am ranting, but I just needed to get this off my chest. This product that I paid $70 for is becoming more and more unplayable with every update, and it is just frustrating. Was Range Finder disabled?
Hey y’all, Not sure if this issue is global or if something is off with my settings, but I noticed today that the rangefinder is just cycling through range values when I press B button on my keyboard (the default range finder key bind), instead of doing what it used to — actually setting the range to the target. Did it break, or was it turned off globally?Transport heli & gunner XP
I’d like to request a change to the transport helicopter scoring system. Currently, pilots get no meaningful XP or score contribution when their gunners secure kills. Transport pilots are responsible for positioning, evasion, stabilizing firing angles, and keeping the helicopter alive — all of which directly enable gunner kills. Proposed Change: Award the pilot a full assist (or at least meaningful XP) for every gunner kill obtained while flying the transport helicopter. This encourages team play, promotes skilled flying, and balances the effort required to support effective gunners. Right now, pilots provide major value but receive almost nothing for it. Providing assist XP on gunner kills would make transport helicopter gameplay more rewarding, fair, and team-oriented. Thank you for considering this improvement.Feedback and Suggestions for Battlefield 6
Hello to the dev team and the community! After spending several hours on Battlefield 6, I wanted to share some feedback and suggestions that I believe could make the overall experience even better. 1. Map Size, I find that the current maps are a bit too small. Fights often feel too confined and lack the strategic depth that made previous Battlefield titles so great. Larger maps would allow better vehicle usage and bring back that epic large-scale battle feeling the series is known for. 2. New and Classic Maps, While new maps are always welcome, it would also be amazing to see the return of some classic maps from older Battlefield games — such as Operation Metro or Laguna Presa. These iconic maps hold a lot of nostalgia for players and would add great variety to the current rotation. 3. New and Iconic Weapons, Adding new weapons would help refresh gameplay, but I’d also love to see the return of classic iconic weapons like the M1 Garand, M16A4, AS VAL, M98B, MP5K, F2000, L96A1, or XM8. These weapons were an important part of Battlefield’s identity and would be a welcome comeback for longtime fans. 4. Conquest System and Ribbons, Bringing back flag icons within conquest zones, as in older titles, would improve visibility and immersion during battles. Also, bringing back ribbons (earned for in-game actions) would be a great way to reward players for their specific playstyles and contributions to the team. 5. New Squads and Faction Variety, It would be great to add new squads within the factions, each with unique appearances, accents, and equipment. This could also be a perfect opportunity to bring back old class skins from previous Battlefield games, which added extra personality and variety to the soldiers. Overall, Battlefield 6 has a lot of potential, and with a few tweaks like these, it could feel even more authentic to the Battlefield spirit. Thanks to the devs for listening and for all their hard work!326Views5likes9CommentsNGFC LPVO
I like using the NGFC LPVO that comes on the M277, but I feel it could be improved. Specifically, two things... 1, instead of only being able to cycle upward through zoom levels, alter the controls to allow going up and down through them. Or, like many of the weapon-related controls, add it as an option even if it's not bound by default. I often find myself needing to swap zoom levels rapidly as a situation changes, and it's really quite clumsy to have to cycle through them in this way. 2, have some sort of display that shows what your current zoom level is. This is mostly only an issue because of 1, because sometimes I accidentally cycle from a high zoom to a low zoom without meaning to because I'm not sure if I'm on the max zoom or not. A HUD element would be nice, but... the magnification adjust dial is right there, and it could easily be animated to indicate the current scope zoom level even while you are unscoped. This would resolve the issue without having to add a new HUD element, so it would be Hardcore-friendly (what I mostly play). Both of these things could also be extended to the other variable zoom optics in the game.Suppression Rework Request
Why is there no real effect on your target when you suppress them ? Sure if they get injured they cannot heal while being suppressed but . . . If they're in cover they just pop right out and can nail you as soon as you stop firing at them. I think it would make fire fights a lot better & last longer enabling flanking moves etc. It used to be a thing: Battlefield 3: This game is frequently cited for its strong suppression effects. Visual effects: Screen shake, blurry vision, and effects from explosions that felt like a concussion. Gameplay impact: Disorientation and confusion, which added a layer of authenticity to the gameplay. Another Example: Red Orchestra 2: This WWII shooter is known for its realistic and intense suppression mechanics. Visual effects: Screen jerking, blurring, and a color desaturation effect that turns the screen black and white. Audio effects: Muffled sounds. Gameplay impact: Increased weapon sway and difficulty steadying aim when suppressed. How suppression effects work Visual and auditory cues: When a player is under fire, the game uses various feedback mechanisms to simulate the stress of combat. Increased difficulty: Suppression effects can make it harder for players to aim and react, discouraging them from staying out in the open. Tactical advantage: Suppressing an enemy can be used as a tactic to pin them down while your team moves in or flank them.QoL changes.
There's a LOT of tweaks needed towards just making the BF6 experience more enjoyable and intuitive to interact with. Menu's displaying incorrect values and data. (Challenge progress, K/D, etc.) Showing the ability to redeploy on a vehicle at a captured objective but refusing to even acknowledge it as an option with my mouse Giving PC players the option to change the redeploy screen "crosshair" to a more intuitive mouse option. (We don't need a fancy cursor, just let us have our desktop cursor.) Many different binding options that are not available. (Separate spot ping, separate marker ping, showing the hidden tertiary bindings to make rebinding not a nightmare, etc.) Renaming loadouts. Remembering laser/light options upon redeploy. The option to forget fire selector mode upon redeploy. Showing more accurate description of attachment effects. Showing truthful stats towards attachment on status bars. Letting us hover over "Mobility" and "Control" stats to find out what they do less vaguely. Letting players earn Coins by playing and enjoying your game in the hopes to unlock Battlepasses. Letting people buy each segment of said pass individually for a cheaper price. The option to disable, move and edit HUD elements for a more personalised and less overwhelming experience. Giving a live recoil display while editing attatchments (Such as Helldivers 2) Giving players the option to skip the "Squad up" option and start searching immediately By default having players in a server stay with each other after matches, to remove always finding a new match completely empty and full of bots. I promise you, people will stick around for these changes, it makes a huge difference in making your game a more enjoyable experience to stick with, you don't want peoples patience running thin, and these kinds of changes help keep that patience at bay. I invite community members to post their QoL changes that would keep them around or have them return!Spot/Ping Separate Bindings Option
A great change made via 1.1.2.0 is the option to pull out your knife with the tap of a button instead of needing to hold the melee key. An addition i thought would have been requested more than this is the option to have Spotting and Pinging as seperate keys. I may be mistaken, but i've looked all over the menus to find the option of seperating these commands to no avail. There are so many times in which I am trying to spot an opponent, only to have a marker be placed in my face, because it made contact with the bush I'm peeking behind from. Aswell as situations where I'm downed and trying to use Pings to notify allies, to which the button does not seem to work. Having a seperate binding for spotting and pinging would solve this issue and make ping placement more understood and trusted. I've had friends head towards pings that i accidently placed while trying to spot someone beyond the point mark only to get shot by the guy i was trying to warn them of. Also, as i've hinted at, sometimes pinging will interact with clutter and objects that one is trying to ping through, which is quite annoying.Loving the game so far
I've played all the titles in the series and after the latest patch the game is balanced really well, including air and vehicles. I do like the gun play, coming from LMG main and the immersion is fantastic. Just got out of a game where a helo crashed not far from where I was standing, the amount of debris was impressive. Want to destroy buildings, use the LAW, holy cow!
