I really hate how the stats determine your teams...My god, is it ever broken!!! Please fix this NOW!!! I fully predicted when The Orange dots for new unlocks were introduced, the lack of a clear all button was going to be sorely needed once you unlocked something universal or something obscure that you still can't find what the dot is referring to. Please do not give a specific class this piece of equipment. Players abuse the hell out it. It's annoying as hell and most people with average and above gun skill does not usually use them but there are so many bad players that's all they do from the time they turn the game on until they are done with the game for the day. Many of us players that use their actual primary weapon more than explosives to start an engagement are tired of this item. Many years ago when I was new to battlefield games my skill level was below average and so for me to level faster I would revive and supply health bags or I would supply ammo as support back in the day. Now you have given them this piece of equipment it has driven many people away from this game and on to different games. I will not be purchasing anymore battlefield games in the future if this is the route your going to take. Can't even play breakthrough anymore it is ruined game type now. Breakthrough was all I played. The love for this game is fading and I know many players that feel the same way.Idea For Future Content
I have been playing the game since launch and have loved playing a modern style Battlefield game again. the drop in player count from launch to now though has been very drastic. Of course, the release of new games that have unique styles is a part of that but i do believe as well that people left because the maps did not feel like Battlefield maps. Not to mention the lack of content in each season leave seasoned BF players like me wanting more. Take BF4 for instance in each DLC their were several guns and 3-4 maps whereas in BF6 they are releasing 2 maps and 2-3 guns per season. I also believe that having the new guns locked in a battle pass makes people feel like they have nothing to work towards. In BF4 having the guns not only be locked behind a DLC but also having unique challenges to work at to unlock them gave people a goal and rewarded that effort with a new weapon. That is why I think the best option to regain player count and make the game feel like Battlefield is to do what i am calling Throwback seasons. What do i mean by that? Well its actually quite simple i think that DICE should consider doing 2 seasons where all they release is 3-4 reworked maps from the classics like BF3 and BF4 much like what they want to do with Golmud Railway, which is a step in the right direction, but we can take it further than that one map. Why not have multiple seasons where classic maps are reworked into the beautiful graphics and playstyle of 6 while still retaining that classic large scale Battlefield feel. Also what DICE can do is rework and introduce some of the classic guns from those games and make them available through challenges such as the iconic AK5C from 4 and the M16 from 3. There are so many guns in 4 that would still be applicable in 6 and would generate a lot of excitement in the community. I love BF6 and i want it to be a game that people still go back to years from now much like BF4. What are you guys' thoughts? Do you think this idea has merit?What the .... have they done to this game?
I never come to the forums because it's usually full of sycophants and people complaining about pet peeves wanting the game to play entirely differently than what it is, but this time I have to say something. FWIW, not that it means a whole lot, but I've been a Battlefield fan since the original release of 1942. I've also been EA Play...not anymore. I won't be buying another Battlefield. I don't think EA devs give a flying ** anymore. They're more interested in rolling out "seasons" than fixing things. This game is full of glitches. Sound, menu problems, graphical, netcode, whatever. I could live with those as long as they were getting worked on. Each patch seems to fix some things, but they're replaced by others. Fix the black screen menu issue, now it's replaced by no menus at all or overlaid menus, for instance. Sound takes as long to load as some of the textures. Some games I start with invisible guns and players. My gun loading or firing sound happens 10 seconds after I actually pull the trigger. Dead after you're around a wall, dead in a half-second burst, and dead at distances that should be impossible with SMG or even carbines on automatic fire, which leads to... Aim assist, or maybe cheating. Want to know what the problem is? The problem is that you can't tell the difference anymore. I can't. The trifecta with aim assist, bad netcode, and probably external devices helping aim has absolutely destroyed gameplay, especially in CQ maps. Getting hosed by automatic fire with TTK less than a second, snipers that never miss a headshot at a dead run with distances of 100 meters or more, guns that fire I swear just like they have an aimbot. Zero recoil. Every round hits at crazy distances at full auto. This last patch seems for some reason to have made it worse. I don't know what it is, worse netcode or a nerf to aim assist, but it's unplayable for me anymore. CQ maps end up with just a couple players taking the vast majority of the kills. You can't get near them. Braap-dead in 0.5 seconds is all you get, 70% of the time an SMG at too-far distance. 20% chance a carbine. Mixed bag for the rest, the rest of the guns hardly get used because everyone's running around with zero-recoil SMG or carbines. I played some breakthrough. Again, one player just statpadding with an SMG getting 55-odd kills defending, zero flags,...not super unusual except that was double the next kill count down. Usually that killcount is reserved for vehicle wh**es, except this was a CQ map with no vehicles. Can't get past someone that insta-kills you. And the mortar nerf...can we PLEASE block them in TDM? Most of the maps just turn into spawnkillfests anymore thanks to the mortars and aim assist clowns rushing to spawnkill camping spots, only the bigger TDMs give any hope of maneuvering. Anyway...the game is absolutely wrecked. Can't play anymore without the gameplay being destroyed by a cheater or aim assist tool just mowing everyone down.Adding FFAR to battlefield 6
Dear, EA/Dice devs over at battlefield 6, Please consider adding the FFAR in a future update—fast fire rate ARs would add more variety to the current weapon pool. Reason/balancing:The FFAR would fill a high-risk, high-reward AR niche with strong close-range DPS but harder recoil control. Ive recently been repeat bingeing Smii7y’s warzone videos and I see the FFAR a lot. I love it, it’s iconic, it looks cool, and it may be a chance to dog on COD once again and show them that the FFAR in your game is better(Plus it’s a relatively modern gun so it would fit well into the theme of the game) I love this game so much, and I love you, EA Devs for adding more and more enjoyable content for us battlefield players, despite all the haters, you still shine through. Shoutout to the absolute beasts who can pilot choppers or jets with insane precision—those 50+ kill streaks are impressive and showcase real skill. That said, aircraft often hold a massive, lopsided advantage over ground forces. I get the logic: control the skies, control the battlefield. But when one great pilot farms the lobby unchecked, it discourages infantry play and sours matches. Credit where due: skilled flying should be rewarded. But we can level the playing field slightly without nerfing pilots into irrelevance—making them work harder for those god-tier runs. A few targeted tweaks worth considering: Lower the minimum altitude for lock-on weapons — Right now, aircraft can hug the deck to break locks too easily. Dropping that threshold a bit would reward pilots who stay high and maneuver smartly, while giving shoulder-fired options (Stingers, etc.) more consistent windows against low-flying harassers. Extend flare cooldowns meaningfully — Flares already recharge, but compare that to ground vehicles (tanks reloading shells take forever) or support players restocking grenades/smoke grenades. A longer refresh would force pilots to manage cooldowns more carefully, use terrain/cover, or risk getting punished during downtime—without removing their escape tool entirely. Buff stationary AA (spawn-based flak/AA guns) — Increase effective range and damage/lethality so they actually threaten aircraft that get too bold near objectives or spawns. This gives teams passive tools to contest airspace without relying solely on mobile AA or dedicated engineers. Reduce lock-on times or acquisition range for ground AA launchers slightly — But pair it with higher damage on hit or faster projectile speed. This makes skilled pilots (who break locks with maneuvers) still dominant, but gives average players a better shot at contributing to takedowns—rewarding quick locks without making it too easy to spam. These changes wouldn’t dethrone great pilots—they’d just demand even sharper decision-making, better positioning, and teamwork (e.g., coordinating with friendly air or ground AA). I dont know what happened in thia recent update, but im dying 3 times faster than what it takes to kill someone. This is with a variety of weapons used. Ttd vs ttk just got much worse for me. Had a blast with contaminated, things seemed relatively good. Now i have something similar to the crossplay desync. Ping is around 30, so its not from me. This keeps going back and forth and Im honestly getting fed up with this. Also, why is it everytime i enter the game or even leave at the end of a match, i have to agree to the user agreement stuff. More things broken. I want to enjoy this game but old issues keep coming back over and over. Stop laying off staff that has the experience with these issues, stop rushing crap out the door making more issues than fixes.
