Crash to Dashboard STILL
I’ve been dealing with this crash for about 4 - 5 games (NHL 22 -26). I thought it might be fixed finally this year, but no. I’ve seen other reports on this and no solutions. Every 3-5 games (playing mostly HUT) the game freezes and then boots me back to the dashboard. It’s super frustrating considering there’s challenges and rewards given based on going undefeated or wins in a row. Pretty much impossible to play or get anything done in the game. I’m on Xbox series X. I’ve done factory reset, changed my camera angle, done a power cycle… none of these have worked. I don’t know what to do at this point, feels like a waste of money buying the game at this point.Bugs and non sollicited automatic action
Hello to ea sports staff members , i would like to report a bug on xbox in WOC where the player is unable to shot, poke or lobe . The bug occurs at random times and rarely , i would say it happens once every 10 games . There is another issue with the goalkeeper too , there is an automatic save that doesn’t really help . I’ve always been a goalkeeper and that new automatic save where the goalkeeper throws himself face first when we use the right joystick on the left/right to make the save is too hazardous . We should be able to slide like it used to be . I can guaranteee you other goalers will agree with me . If you could fix the energy issue too , it’s not that bad but it would be better if we had a bit more energy .
Goalie bug: diving OUT of the way of a shot
This happened to me twice during a Cup Chase run. In the first instance, the CPU-controlled goalie on my team did the cross-crease emergency save diving motion, but in the opposite direction of the shot being taken. The goalie dived from a default save position on the right to way-left, while the shot was incoming to the right. The second time (video attached) it was even more weird as the goalie slid to the opposite post and the sliding animation carried the goalie almost all the way to the boards.Please fix EASHL WOC
W.O.C. is a bit of a mess, isn’t it? First off, it’s super tough for a team of two players, especially one of them being a goalie, to find a game against another team with a real goaltender. It feels like we’re searching for ages—almost 7 to 8 times—before we even have a glimmer of hope of finding a game. We really need options like “match my room size” and “match my goaltender.” like in NHL 23, the search was way easier. Second, the gameplay is a bit wonky when playing against other people in the game mode of W.O.C. the AI defense just doesn’t block or even try to stay back to block anything. All the players do is speed, pass defense, get a breakaway, and score the easiest goal ever! I’ve seen players breeze past my own defense and do the simplest move, stick left, then right, and score a goal where the AI goalie is flat on his stomach—it’s just ridiculous! WOC has become a toxic environment, undermining its potential as a game mode. The primary issue lies with players who disregard the intended gameplay mechanics, resulting in an unplayable experience. EA’s decision to enable unrealistic character speed and ineffective AI goaltenders & Defenseman further exacerbates the problem. Fix your game!
