Goalie bug: diving OUT of the way of a shot

This happened to me twice during a Cup Chase run.

In the first instance, the CPU-controlled goalie on my team did the cross-crease emergency save diving motion, but in the opposite direction of the shot being taken. The goalie dived from a default save position on the right to way-left, while the shot was incoming to the right. 

The second time (video attached) it was even more weird as the goalie slid to the opposite post and the sliding animation carried the goalie almost all the way to the boards.
