Backend Client Rollout - Splash Screen and Chromebook fix

Hello Holotable Heroes, 

The team has started to slowly deploy a backend client fix to correct 2 issues:

  1. Unable to access game with Chromebook
  2. Getting stuck on the SWGOH Splash Screen

 

If you were experiencing either of these issues and no longer are, great (Please let us know in the comments)

If you are still experiencing these two specific issues, know that the rollout is actively happening and may take longer to reach you.

    Literally unplayable on Samsung S22 among other phones....mobile game.....over a week and nothing is any better.

    Not sure how many times this needs to be said but CG......FIX YOUR GAME!

      When you click the App icon, where does your game stop working?

      I know there is currently an issue with hardware for certain Samsung phones the team is looking into.

        When i click the app icon it takes a long time to load into game, normally sticking on the Disney/lucasfilm logos. Sometimes it will crash several times trying to load into the game. Then once in game it laggs so badly and almost always crashes within the first 30 seconds if not then on the first battle i try

    Can't you priorities to fix the phones first ? Though it was a phone game not a PC one, we still cannot playing while on mobile data. Quite boring for a phone game ...

    After the update... the phone still overheats and the app crashes. No fun at all anymore.

        Samsung Galaxy S22+ with latest android and today's game update. German language settings. It started after the 31st July update, the game cached 1GB of additional data.

    Phone is still overheating, very dangerous in my opinion. When it fries the battery who do i send the bill to?

    Even an acknowledgement of the problem would be nice at this point. 

    Between the Game crashing/lagging, phone overheating and being unable to do anything because of it.. its practically unplayable.

    S22, update made little faster load of thr game but game itself is still totally lagy and crashes during battle. No other functionality of the phone cannot be used (screenshots or accepting call). Even if i lock thr screen i cant unlock because keyboard wont popup. Phone is super hot and slow when swgoh is running and phone is locked. Rollback that update from last week. This game is unplayable now.

    Identical issue to tehgreenninja11 above.  Samsung s22 ultra. Everything was fine before july31st with the update.  Loads slow,  crashes randomly, battle animations are super slow so attritional battles timeout as a draw and can't switch to any other app (the most annoying part). It's eating up the battery. I'm in Ireland. Last app update was on the 6th, but there have been some random in- game updates over the last few days.

    Bonjour, Je ne peux toujours pas ouvrir le jeu sans wi fi. J'ai le message d'erreur suivant ERREUR DE CONNEXION. Mon téléphone est un Samsung ZFold 4. Merci pour votre aide.

      Exactly the same problem for me, on Samsung s10e. I still can't open the game without wi fi. CG it would be time to do something and have some interest for your community ! Thanks.

    Working for me! Thank you! Samsung Galaxy A13. Just took a couple of reboots for the update to actually get working. Thanks again!

    Hello,

    I still can't connect to the game, the update was installed this morning. Now i Can pass the black screen, and disney logo, arrived on game splash screen, i have an error: network issue internet unavailable...

    I'm on Samsung s24 Ultra...
