I'd like to shoutout CG_Meathead for keeping us updated and engaging with the community. Whatever you're getting paid, CG should pay you more for having the foresight to watch test streams on top of everything else you do.
I dunno what the answer should be for Punishing One. But I do have thoughts about the release quality decline over the last few years.
I'm not talking about things like the ROLO nerf. SWGOH is (mechanically speaking) a pretty complex game. So there are bound to be unintended interactions, and that most likely only increases over time.
I've worked in tech for well over a decade, and it seems improbable to me that this is the fault of the QA team. IMO, it's far more probable that CG or EA leadership has mandated reductions in resource allocation, affecting both time spent testing and the number of people doing it. Firstly, this isn't an isolated incident, it's a pattern that has repeated over and over again with increasing frequency. Secondly, EA is notoriously relentless about minimizing their investment while maximizing their gain. How many botched games have they released? Honestly, it might be easier to count the games that dropped without problems.
I spend money fairly regularly on this game. So, to EA/CG leadership, as a paying customer, I'm asking you to please do better. Invest into your people. Invest more into QA. End of the day, this is a company that makes games, and games should be fun. When poorly vetted content gets released, your player base gets understandably frustrated, the game gets less fun, and it comes off as disingenuous. - 1amoutofideas2 years agoSeasoned Novice
Honestly this just goes to show that they either don’t have a quality assurance team, or they need more people for it. It’s atrocious. The fact that the Naboo Raid takes me over an hour to run through every week is insane. The ROTE CM’s likewise take forever. It’s just clear they don’t test the game extensively.
I can watch half the phantom menace in the time it takes me to run all my attempts and re-attempts for this raid. It’s ridiculous.

It turns out that people laugh when they are speechless.

The Naboo N1-Starfighter wouldn't have this issue....#MakeMaceCapShipGreatAgain
*marauder does not count since Negotiator stole the ship intendedfor Endurance - ShockStar232 years agoNew Spectator
Agreed. I probably would have whaled for this ship, almost pulled the trigger before I saw this. But now I don’t even know what I’d be investing in so no thanks.

How the hell does the Naboo raid take you over an hour? I can run it on auto for all of my teams, get max score, and be done in 20 minutes while I'm at work!

LOL, Prof, Executor and Sythe teams already hard countering Levi with proper setup...

No, they test nothing ... actually it is us doing the testing.
We all are working as beta testers without being paid 😁CG only cares about money, 0 quality assurance, they just drop the **bleep** into production and let us do the test the hard way. Just another middle finger from CG

They do this so often, surely there’s a legal angle to this, and every other situation, where people have paid for something in this game and it’s promptly been changed or nerfed. Someone with a legal background should put together a class action lawsuit.

Lol nobody complained when a single p2w „lifter“ SHIP rendered pretty much all light side FLEETS useless, but when it beats Leviathan then there is a outcry.
