Game wont launch - Couldn't Initialize Sound
When I try and run the game, it quits to the desktop almost immediately with a "Couldn't Initialize Sound" error: Couldn't Initialize Sound. Please make sure you have a sound playback device that is enabled and properly configured. Failed in: MilesDriverCreate Miles output follows: Audio Hardware Error: Failed to initialize IAudioClient (shared, event mode, float, chans=2, rate=96000, HR=AUDCLNT_E_DEVICE_IN_USE) Failed to initialized WASAPI audio hardware, trying XAudio. Couldn't create XAudio2 master voice. This is only a problem when using my primary audio device (Focusrite Scarlet 2i2). If I switch to onboard sound, things work fine. Unfortunately, this isn't ideal with my setup. I play a lot of games and have had no problems in the past. Specs as follows: i7 6700k 2 x Nvidia GTX 1080 16gb DDR4 Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 DXDiag attached.Solved114KViews1like30CommentsTitan Fall2 Cross Platform
So I just need a definitive answer- a YES or NO: are the Titan Fall 2 multiplayer servers cross-platform? At all? I haven't purchased the game yet and could go either PC or PS4. Everyone that I know who already has the game, and with whom I would be playing, are all on Xbox. No, I'm not buying an Xbox. I can't seem to find a firm answer, just a lot of pre-release speculation on both sides of the coin on-line and a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't think so" when I ask around. Please. Thank You.SolvedAnonymous9 years ago86KViews2likes3CommentsMultiplayer is locked for Titanfall 2
I can play the campaign, but when I go to the multiplayer there is a lock and it just says, "Contacting Respawn servers..." I am on a laptop. I downloaded it through steam and have reinstalled it and verified its files. I can play other online games like Apex and Valorant.Solved80KViews13likes41CommentsTitanfall 2 for Steam not launching (Origin says it's not installed)
I got TTF2 for Steam, but I can't launch it as Origin says it is not installed. I have reinstalled the game several times through both Steam and Origin (though Origin just opens Steam and installs through Steam instead). My PC has a SSD as the C: drive, and my games and other data are on D: and E: which are HDs. I have installed TTF2 on E: and I have tried pretty much everything I could find on Google regarding Origin not finding the game. Both Origin and the game have been reinstalled multiple times. I have internet speeds that allow for downloading and installing the game in under 1hr, so I am willing to try suggestions that involve re-downloading it again. I have tried installing Origin and the game on separate drives (Origin on D and the game on E), I have tried both on the same drive (E), moving the Origin installs folder to the steam library, and also tried creating a steam library inside the Origin default games install directory. To no avail. Nothing I do gets Origin to acknowledge the game is installed. I also can't use the "Locate Game" option for TTF2 because it doesn't have that option... (unlike BF4, which is a game I have on Origin and tested installing and locating just to be sure, and it works fine). I am at a loss, I have spent the whole Saturday (06/20) trying different things and I can't seem to get this sorted (and most of my Sunday morning now). I have seen some people having similar issues, but not a lot of people, and their fixes don't work for me (not that they seemed to know exactly what worked for them either...). I just hope I'm not some edge case. So well, here I am, waiting now for an official response from you guys to see if there's anything else I can try to fix this problem. By the way, my PC specs are: CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k (3.4Ghz, no OC currently) MB: Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe RAM: 12Gb (3x4Gb sticks DDR3 - Corsair PC3-12800) GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX970 Storage: - 1x Samsung EVO 850 120Gb (Drive C:, Windows 10 Pro v1909 Build 18363.900) - 2x Western Digital WD10EZEX 1 Tb (Storage only)Solved77KViews14likes42CommentsMy solution to Profile not permitted to play online
I was having the problem not being able to play Titanfall 2 online, I was getting the error Profile not permitted to play online. I worked with EA tech support and after seeing everything on my account was correct they referred me to xbox tech support. Xbox tried a bunch of different things and they were never able to get me going either. I have a second xbox one and installed the game, and had no problems with multiplayer. I tried to think what was different between the two consoles. On the one that wasn't working I had some parental rules set up to limit the time my kids could be online. I cleared the rules on the router and it still didn't work. Then I figured it out, that machine was using an alternate DNS setting than the other xbox. I had to use the alternate DNS to shape the rules the kids computers, consoles, phones, etc were using to get on the internet. TLDR version, it was DNS. If you are getting this error make sure your DNS settings are the default, and if that doesn't work put in Manual settings for Google as your DNS. Primary 8.8.8.8 Secondary 8.8.4.4 For Xbox one Go to the Dashboard. Go to Settings Go to Network. Go to Advanced Settings. Go to DNS settings. Select Manual. Put in 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 For PS4 Go to "Settings". Go to "Network". Go to "Set Up Internet Connection" Select Wifi/LAN depending on what you use to connect. Select "Custom". IP Address Settings = Automatic. DHCP Host Name = Do Not Specify. DNS Settings = Manual. Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8. Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4. Hope this fixes the problem for you!SolvedAnonymous9 years ago76KViews9likes15Comments0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_Device_Hung

Graphic/performance issues often result from hardware or software issues. It may be that your graphic card has outdated drivers, or that one of your components needs updating before you can fully enjoy the game. However, there are about as many ways to combine hardware and software components as there are areas to walljump on in Angel City. Well, perhaps a bit more than that. As a result, in order to let us have a better idea of the problem you are facing and its cause, please post a DXDiag of your machine. This will help us identify the potential sources of an issue. To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, please follow the steps below: 1. Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard 2. You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen 3. Type dxdiag in the text field 4. Click OK 5. If your computer has a 64-bit version of Windows, click the button Run 64-bit DXDIAG (see screenshot below) 6. If your computer has a 32-bit version of Windows, that button will not be available 7. Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report 8. Save this text file to your Desktop if possible 9. Open the text file, select all the text inside (Ctrl + A) and copy it (Ctrl +C). 10. Go to http://hastebin.com/, paste the contents of your DXDiag inside (Ctrl+V) and click Save on the webpage (Ctrl+S). 11. Copy the link of the page in your post, along with a description of your issue. The more precise you are in your description, the more likely you are to get help. 🙂Anonymous12 years ago69KViews137likes0Comments[PC] DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET every 10 or so minutes
Hello, here are my specs: Intel i7-5820k 6-core CPU @ 4.0 GHz 32 GB DDR4 RAM GTX 970 4GB GPU Corsair 750W PSU Windows 10 Pro 150 MBit XFinity Down/20 Mb Up When the error occurs, I get a gray screen, followed by both monitors getting signal back with the following error message: Direct X Error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET ("The device failed due to a badly formed command. This is a run-time issue; the application should destroy and recreate the device.") GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970", Driver: 37570 Origin is totally blacked out, and I have to close it with Task Manager because it won't close itself (says that Titanfall 2 is still running, it's trying to close too early.) This happens no matter what graphics settings I use (even on Low.) It may not occur when playing in windowed, haven't had a chance to check since you guys are getting DDoSed at the moment. Windows EventViewer has the following thing to say: Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. Here are the steps I've taken to try and solve the problem: 1. Doing a clean install of the latest drivers (currently 375.70.) 2. Down-clocking my GPU. 3. Verifying the Titanfall 2 install. 4. Changing my graphics settings. 5. Disabling my second monitor. 6. Turning off Origin's in-game overlay 7. Trying a different GTX 970 (I have multiple workstations at home.) 8. Trying it on a different PC with similar specs. None of these resulted in a difference at all. Attached is a copy of my DxDiag.txt.Solvedynnub-699 years agoSeasoned Rookie69KViews4likes13CommentsTitanfall 2 - Changing Language

When I attempt to connect to any server in Titanfall 2's multiplayer mode. The loading screen happens, then the screen goes black, I hear some sounds from the ambience noise of the map and then I get kicked to the main menu with the error of "Connection To Server Timed Out" This doesn't happen usually in the mornings but anytime in the evening I simply cannot connect to any server. I have tried to turn off any network adapters except the one I'm using. I do not have control over network settings, I have not encountered a problem like this in any other game. I have searched for a solution, there is nothing, there have been many reports of this. I need pointers if possible.Solved64KViews22likes39Comments(PS4) Titanfall 2 this profile is not permitted to play online

This isn't a problem, its simply a question that i was hoping to get confirmed. For people who haven't beaten the single player campaign but still want to read this...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. As soon as the ending credits are done, you see jacks old helmet flicker a few times. Is it true that this is possibly Morse or a binary code of sorts? I've heard rumors of when this is translated by binary or another kind of code it says "jack?" which could be a possible signal from BT even after that planet exploded due to some of BT's AI possibly being in coopers helmet on the time travel level. Is the message true? IS BT STILL POSSIBLY ALIVE????SolvedAnonymous9 years ago60KViews3likes3CommentsTitanfall 2 for XBOX ONE Profile not permitted to play online
