Unable to start from Steam
Hello, I recently tried to reinstall Titanfall 2 via Steam and launch it, but it doesn't work. When I click play, It says "Running Install Script (DirectX)" (or something along those lines), a window in the EA App pops up, claiming to prepare the game and the EA app minimizes. Then, without even seeing the game once, the EA app reappears and Steam no longer shows the game as playing. I have already tried reinstalling both the game and the EA App. but have had no luck so far. I would really like to play again, so I would appreciate some advice.EA App Titanfall 2 - Can't activate game
Hello, I installed Titanfall 2 via Steam. When I launched it, it installed the EA App, where I can see the game in my library. When I try to launch it, I'm redirected to a game activation page. I enter my EA credentials and get an error saying they're incorrect. However, I've tried multiple times, changed my password on the EA website (using the "Forgot Password" option), and I still get the same result. Even though it doesn't make sense, I tried creating a new account, but it tells me my computer isn't connected to the internet, which obviously isn't true. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and the EA App several times, tried running them as administrator, but nothing changes. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks for your help.(PC, Steam) TF2 Freezing PC randomly when connecting to servers or games
Hi, I'm pulling my hair out currently trying to get TF2 running on my PC Consistently. When I load into a multiplayer game (and rarely, the main menu) the game freezes my entire computer, locking my cursor and requiring a forced restart to get out of it. This appears to occur completely randomly, as I when I do get into a game I can run it at 144fps with no stuttering or issues, so I doubt it's a hardware issue. I've searched everywhere for fixes and so far I've tried all of the following to no avail: Verify integrity through Steam. Clear cache through EA. Ran the game in admin mode and compatibility mode (for both windows 7 and 8). Updated graphics drivers. Lowered graphics settings many times. Adjusted server (London, Frankfurt, etc.) for MP. Reinstalling the game to two different drives. Below are the specs for my PC: Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 5 225F 3.30 GHz 16gb RAM MAG B860 TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7E39) GeForce RTX 4060 I think it's something to do with my PC reaching the servers as the game seems to crash either when finding the data centres or joining a game. If I undo the fix found in this guide (https://medium.com/@nart70/titanfall-2-how-to-fix-connecting-to-respawn-servers-bug-1a6adfc4af4d) the game appears to run fine, however I can't find a data server, meaning I wouldn't be able to play MP regardless. Why I was playing Titanfall 2 (Campaign Mode), the game displays a 'Checkpoint' notification on the right side of the screen, but after dying, I respawn at the *storyline’s default save point* instead of the latest checkpoint. Why can’t I queue AUS servers Titanfall 2 ps5
I can’t even get an estimated time on AUS servers I’m just stuck with “searching for match” but Singapore works fine however my ping is through the roof. I just deleted and reinstalled the game still the same problem it’s been like this for years I just want to play the game again (I’m on ps5 Northstar is not an option). Does anyone know how to fix this I can’t find any reddit posts for Ps5 Sydney servers with the same problem. Are AUS servers just dead because I queue in peak times still not even an attempt at find a lobby.
The game does not create save files
In Titanfall 2 Steam version of the game does not create save files, because of which every time you restart have to re-set the control and graphics settings. What is the reason for this? Please also do not advise me to reinstall/restore the game files, I have tried many times already
Titanfall 2 Wont open On Steam launcher Nor EA Launcher
Hi i really need help, ok so ill start from the beginning, I had to talk to ea to get my old account switched over to a new email do to my steam being connected to it, and i got that resolved, now, i am trying to play titanfall 2, i press play and it opens up the ea launcher saying Preparing game, then it stops a couple seconds later and the game never opens, no black screen no application for titanfall, it just doesn't openMother....
A popular Swedish gamesite. Feber.se published these photograps in reference to Titanfall 2. I find it highly unlikely that you would name these photograps. Motherf.... Did Feber do it or did they retrieve them from a "photobank"? Did Feber do it with your concent? I expect a correct answer. I know this isnt about your app but Titanfall is literally like my top 3 shooter games yet, you have to cancel Titanfall 3 which I am very disappointed and so does people too. Why are you acting like this? I hate to say it but l hate you EA stop acting dumb and actually do something rightIs there a possibility of deleting a Network(clan)?
Many many years back i created a network with a... certain name. Since i no longer want to assosiate with this for personal reasons and be assosiate with it i would like to delete it. Sadly i can't leave it because iam the creator and can't appoint another one because the only other member is a IRL friend that no longer plays games in general. So iam essentially stuck in the network
Tokyo Titanfall 2 servers are cooked
Since EA forums don't seem to support Japanese, I will put it in here. The Tokyo servers for Titanfall 2 are causing the game to run like a slideshow. A game of attrition (which is only supposed to take 10 mins max) are taking almost double the time because of this. I have not tried other game modes like Frontier Defense or the coliseum. Can you guys let your server provider know so they can find a solution? Appreciate you.
Unable to launch through steam
I've tried to launch Titanfall 2 through steam but it just keeps validating when I press play. I also tried buying the game on EA and then launching it through the EA app but it doesn't work as the steam install interferes with it even if I uninstall the game. I have tried clearing the cache, repairing game files and wiping licences. After talking to the Online EA help people, I have been told to come here. Please help. Thanks!
I recently got titanfall 1 (21/03/2025)
I got the game up and running and the first thing i notice after finishing the tutorial is that i can't dowload the needed free packs for many of the multiplayer modes,how do i get them? basically it tells me that the shop or whatever it is, is in maintenance and that ill have to check soon for updates but EA killed titanfall 1 so no updates coming soon can someone help? i have the DvD copy [Moved to IT Other EA games board to EN Titanfall board. Titanfall 2 Not saving anything within the game
So Titanfall 2 has been a game that i've been playing for abut 8 years now. I had been playing on console the whole time which worked perfectly fine. This year i got a new pc and found the game for only 3 euros on steam so i had to get it for pc too. When i download it everything worked fine until i had reached the mid of the campaign without dying once. When i finally died i got rastarted from all over again at the pilot gauntlet. I got frustrated and closed the game. THne i tried more and more everyday and nothing worked. Finally i decided to step in to multiplayer. Everything there saved like titans, pilots, loadouts because its with your ea account. But when you change your setting and restart your game the settings restart too, which means i can no longer change my settings. The only setting i change because its easy to change its full screen. It doesnt have to do about my graphics card, not about andy corrupted files, not about the game not being installed correctly, not about folders being divided into different hdds or ssds. Hope the team finds out how to solve this issue and i hope it will help other players too. Tianfall 2 is the best game ever created.
