I need to understand…
The game isn’t that bad… I have some fun playing it! With that being said, I need to understand why a team with 81 OFF and 81 DEF, having players with like 83-84 speed, sometimes, is outpacing my players? I have McDavid at like 90 speed, Makar same thing… I don’t get it! Then, I play guys with freaking OP Selane, same thing: sometimes, I can catch the player, and other times, he has the speed of a Formula 1, while my player is as aslow as a freaking turtle. It is the lack of consistency that pisses me off a little! Same thing goes with poke checking, some guys literally get every poke checks, while others can’t! I need to understand!XP Series 1 Legendary Pack
You really shouldn’t deceive people by calling a pack LEGENDARY when it in fact is not… i can buy an 83 overall card for under 10,000 coin in auctionhouse. Its a waste of a set if you cant get anything half decent for all your hard work. Not to mention 60 collectibles. Feels like this game really doesnt reward you anymore as you progress/ grind. You either have to spend thousands of dollars, save up to hopefully buy one card you really want from auction, or simply suffer with a horrible to mid team if ur a non pay-to-play player. It is blatant corporate greed. The focus has dramatically shifted over the years from pleasing the community of players, to now stuffing their pockets. Shameful to see micro transactions attempting to hold the game hostage. Ive accepted that my team will be trash this yearHUT Ranked ladder
Why is it that you’re blatantly lied to us during the HUT deep dive? You stated that you cannot be relegated after a few tough games. That has proven to not be true. The way the ranked ladder is set up is horrid. Ranked is 10x worse than what Rivals ever was! Holding/advancing in a division in Rivals was WAY more convenient to the player base. Ranked is an absolute gauntlet with no reward. Adjustments must be made, the only way to actually advance through the tiers is to go on a huge win streak as losing sets you back to relegation (which was stated wouldn’t happen). I think it should be changed to a win gets to 2 boxes filled on the tier progression and a loss only takes 1 away. It’s so defeating playing 5+ games and not getting ANYTHING for it if you lose a couple of them. This is the least rewarding game we’ve ever had, something needs to change. There isn’t even any objectives for win milestones, it feels like we’re playing for nothing.
Salary cap in NHL HUT 26
EA_Aljo The salary cap is the best thing you could have done in NHL 26 HUT. It makes you think about how you put the team together and what players you use. Overall, the concept of combinations for putting the team together is a lot. And finally, it's not just about the best players. The so-called Pay 2 Win. And it's good for free to play players who play for fun. Please don't remove the salary cap for season 2. A lot of players are complaining about it, but only because they can't use only the best players with maximum overalls. Raise the salary cap for season 2 by 100M at most. Just please don't remove it and listen to 100% of the NHL community players. Finally fix the L2/LT spam/glitch and this will probably be the best NHL you've released this year. Thanks a lot EA
L2/LT toxic gaming behavior
EA_Aljo When will something finally be done about this? Why can't these players be reported and punished with a 10-14 day HUT ban?! Im talking about the players who just spam L2/LT the entire game and do nothing else! It's incredibly annoying, and EA isn't doing anything about it! Why???NHL 26 HUT Content 12/19

Ranked Games does not count
This has happened to me personally two or three times, and again last night. You're playing a ranked online match, you're winning, and then the opponent does something, and the game suddenly ends, and it's counted as a loss. It wasn't a connection issue, because if that happens, a red bar appears in the top right corner saying, "Connection to the EA servers has been lost." But that message didn't appear. What I also noticed about this opponent was that their username kept changing in the player list—it showed two different usernames. What's going on? My username always stays the same. And you can see from the game statistics that my connection didn't drop.This pay to win model in hut is not fair.
I have attached a photo of a team that people have to go up against in hut, and there are many others with stupid teams like this. This pay to win model you have introduced is disgusting, bring back earnable, LEGITIMATE rewards like ultimate choice packs and ultimate packs. This is not cool and you guys are alienating a massive chunk of the playerbase & persuading them into not buying next years game. The decision making this year has been so blatantly greedy, the worst its ever been in the history of NHL games, how much money do you need to squeeze out of people before f2p players can earn good rewards again and feel justified spending a little money on packs here and there?
