Many Good Players are leaving game saying that game takes lots of time. Please, Before it is too late. Make each and every battles simmable. No matter whether it is Raid or TB. Even in TW include an option to auto submit win-lose result once we match our squad vs opponent squad; it must be possible if SWGOH wants. In Raid include an option to auto submit last Raid score. We will make further attempts if we want to increase our score with course of time. TB combats must be simmable once we win the combat. CMs or SMs both. Many events (like Defense of Dathomir) are not simmable yet. Please consider about that. Hope you understand what I am trying to make understand. Wish every recurrence of Mark events give few shards or blueprints for regular players ( asif you are devaluing them) every day until the event appears. As always, Regards... Not sure what happened, but about a couple weeks ago was on my iPhone 15 playing STWGOH. I logged off, then later that evening I get back on to find my 10.2 mill gp account deleted. I was devastated the years put in and time. Help support said they need ally code, my problem I never wrote it down. Don’t know what to do only thing I can think is if there someone out in the galaxy that might be on my friends list, they might be able to see the code. MT lead should have random NS revived for the assist is not happening, zombies three deaths before they stop reviving is not happening, Merrin's shadow strike is not reviving anyone, Daka's chant of ressurection is not reviving anyone. I am an iOS user. I understand there’s the App Store issue going on. I have uninstalled and reinstalled as suggested and it doesn’t work. I want to start that I loved the Naboo raid at the start. It was a fun new puzzle to figure out. But several months on now I must say this is probably the single biggest chore in the game and I fully dread every week when the raid starts now. So the question I would like to ask folks is does anyone even still like this raid. Does anyone even remotely find it fun or engaging content to do every week? Visually it is great and then theme is spot on to the movie with the ground and space pieces so it is great in that aspect. I have 4 teams built: Gungans w/jar jar at r7. I have QA and bros at R5(still taking to R7) I have Lumi, Kit, KAM, Plo, Qui at R5 I have B2, Maul, Sidious, IG-100, droideka at R5 It literally take me 2-5 hours every week to remod and run multiple attempts becasue of the crap rng or the stupid healing is just crazy strong and if you can't nuke a char in a single turn it will just be full healed and that just means you have wasted valuable enrage and time. I am sick of it. I have played 2 accounts for over 3 years and I would regular spend on both(not kraken or whale but conquest passes and crystal packs). I have fully quit my second account about a month ago because the raid is too much effort and time to spend every week. The only positive I see from this raid is that gungan omi lets me press auto but even that isn't a sure thing and sometimes have to restart it over because of droideka shield crap. One of my biggest issues is that from the very basics of the raid design it is built as a giant F U to the player base. Not only is every tier gated behind gear requirements forcing you to bring up relics. Even after you hit that gear you have stupid high mod checks after that too. I'll admit I don't care much for mods so don't invest much in them but even after bringing a full team to R5 which is a big investment if you don't have really good mods then you are not clearing or max score. The double whammy of reqs is a slap in the face from CG. One or the other, either make me gear or put crazy mod checks but to add both and then still have a lot of RNG is just bad and it makes me not want to engage with the game nearly as much. especially when you add in having to deal with conquest being an absolute chore and slog to get through it really adds up to hurting the game experience. Why is one attempt with my Lumi squad hit enrage in wave 4-5 but then other times I hit max score with only 80% enrage. That is far too much of a swing when using the same mods and overall strategy. LOTR HOME had the exact same issue, I loved the raid at first it was great fun with unique phases but then there was so much rng that I was spending hours and hours retrying for that perfect RNG that I just quit playing(funny enough a week before the closure announcement because week over week there wasn't any real improvement. If you kept gearing you could bump up a tier maybe but then it was still just an RNG fest and there was never a feeling of improvement because extra gear just resulted in the same phase but bigger numbers and still RNG. There have been a lot of posts about the current raid, mostly harshly critical. I've tried to be helpful and upbeat, encouraging other players. And I don't regret that. Most of the posts have focussed on calling the raid trash which lets out feelings, but doesn't actually help anyone. I want this thread to help. For that reason, I'm not going to focus on Naboo. It's too late for this raid. Even if they wanted to tweak it, by the time they do, it will be more than 1/2 over. Instead, I want to focus on what makes a reasonably good raid, and therefore how CG can improve on past efforts when crafting the next one. I have some basic expectations for raids. If I take toons to the max tier to get the max score, I also want it to be easy. This is a Quality of Life reward for investment in the raid. I like interesting strategies as much as the next person. There was no bigger fan of the original (pre-Omicron) KAM mission than me. But the game simply has too much to do. Restarting raid attempts over and over creates frustration in the player base. While that might be fine for Tier0 where you're deliberately making things hard to encourage investment, any r8 or r9 tier should be an easy max with vanishingly few restarts. Requiring correct modding and strategy to make it work is also fine, but not RNG. Whatever RNG exists at lower tiers should be overwhelmed by your faction bonus when you hit tiers where the minimum eligibility is r8. Omicrons should provide a major quality of life benefit. If raids teams are going to be capable of max scores at r7 plus, then Omicrons can't make a major difference in score. Instead they should make a major difference in whether you can quickly, easily, or even on auto reach that same score. If I had a choice between getting 3.6M with my Queen Amidala team playing manually or 90% of that (3.24M) on auto, I would take the auto every time. The Omicrons should be a short cut to the easy quality of life benefits that I mentioned in p1 should be available (without Omicron) at r8+. Easily maxing the raid at r5, a very attainable relic tier, should be the measure of whether or not your Omicron is tuned appropriately. More raid Omicrons. Some teams will be taken to r9 and thus not need Omis. But if Omicrons are a quality of life mechanic, then they have to be available for more squads. Pick an elite team that you know will easily max the raid at r8 or r9 -- usually that will be a GL squad, but it could also be the equivalent of Naboo's Gungans or QA squad. That one squad gets no Omicrons. The point is to encourage people to slap insane relics on it. All the other squads should get an Omi that makes the team an easy max at r5. No one is going to spend that many mats, of course. The point is that not everyone will have every eligible team fully relic'd. By providing an Omi for every squad, you make sure that if a player has even one mid-relic squad, there is an Omi available for them. Thus you're not withholding these quality of life improvements from players who don't have the new shiny team. Quality of life should be available to all. All the new shinies should be available easily on day 1. Not available if you're a whale, easily available. The one, limited exception should be a Journey Guide character who must have their second event -- not first, but second -- on or before the 28th day of a new raid. This doesn't guarantee that players have enough materials to relic the necessary prerequisites for any particular toon (especially a GL), but the raid is there for players to participate in it. The definition of "easily" should be "average RNG with 15 attempts per day on a hard node will take this toon to 7 stars with 5-7 days to spare." Some toons will be released earlier and thus hit 7 stars much earlier, but EVERY toon should be available with that basic farming regimen. For those toons derived from events, they simply need to have their events finished by then, with prerequisites available on that time frame -- again, with a single exception of a single toon that's in the Journey Guide and whose second event happens with 28days of raid start. Let us have the characters necessary to play the raid. Below g12, gear tiers should matter. A straight g11 squad should do better than a straight g10 squad. Above g12, relic tiers should matter for those squads that are not gaining max score. This rewards players for taking part of a squad up to the next tier before they have all the toons at the same relic so as to qualify jumping up. This can be as simple as giving any toon that has greater than the minimum qualifying relic Damage Immunity for 1 or 2 turns the first time they fall below yellow health. This type of mechanic reduces RNG, reduces restarts, and yet won't make a team suddenly capable of insane scores. Other bonuses for above-minimum toons are also possible, but this strikes me as a particularly elegant one. Characters and resources available should make it possible for guild-wide income to remain steady with the release of a new raid, or, if guild income falls, it returns to what guilds were earning at the end of the last raid within a month of the release of a new raid. In the past income always increased with the release of a new raid because old raids did not go away. Being forced to spend to go nowhere isn't fun. Your players want to make progress. Maybe increases in income are slow to accumulate. After all, raids are now released on a quicker time frame than in the past. But instead of that giant leap in income every couple years, there should be slow gains in income. What I see in my own guild and others is no progress at all: the first half of a raid's lifetime we see one reward box, the second we see a better, but when a new raid drops we are back to the lesser box and we don't have a reasonable chance to improve beyond the best that we did the raid prior. Some of that may be individual guilds and motivation, I can't say. But you have the data to show whether Mk3 token income is down or up and by how much. Please make sure that to the extent average Mk3 income (across the game) falls, it never falls for long, and the general income trend is upward, not flat. Provide a setting to disable moving backgrounds. Other people might have other expectations, and if I agree strongly with them, I might even edit this post to include them. As for comments, please provide actual suggestions and good information about what you want to see in the raid. Liking or hating a raid is not enough (on its own) to provide that sort of feedback. Hi, basically title, i am ok with with the conquest experience being grindy and rewarding engagement but the disk mechanics is purely infuriating. The first thing to change is the possibility to roll several time the same disk on the same node. this is a small that would improve experience tremendously. So, Leia, that was a permanent effect, no DC required. It needed fixed. All the DC nerfs though? They're a short life span already and ya still left stupid OP DC's in play when doing it. We went through 3's and MG dropped a staggering 68% against Jabba in the win rate. That's...not good. Massive damage immunity is handed out like candy which limited the scope of it and if you saw it on D, it was easy to shutdown making it an offensive tool...like Sidcron? Anyways the larger concern is the investment we spend on DC mats. Refreshes, crystals, preroll mats, etc. I like DC's in the sense of making dynamic gameplay, but the last few sets have been game breaking broken. If this was a concern, we should have known and not to invest in it. You should have taken it out WAY faster. Sith are clearly the quintessential Star Wars "Dark Side" faction. Why isn't there a single CM in ROTE that requires a sith team? There are so many Jedi CMs, and supposedly this is the era where the Jedi order has been destroyed. I would love to get a planet like Korriban where Sith are required for some CMs. Or even Malachor should clearly have a CM that requires sith. A trayus academy mission reflective of the old Sith raid, for instance. Yes, this is technically not the same as Malachor V from KOTOR 2, but still that was the inspiration for Malachor as we saw it in Rebels. Sith are such a big and popular faction that being entirely left out of ROTE feels like a huge miss to me. I have been playing SWGOH for 4 years now and at a competitive level. Like others, I enjoy the competition and pushing the limits. However, this game has become unmanageable for even many competitive players and this is not fun. This is probably why I estimate that 75% of the people who really played this game that I started with in 2020 have quit in the last 1-2 years. The amount of time the daily chores take in this game is making it not fun. To improve the quality of life in this game, I propose Rise of the Empire Territory Battle adds a sim option for CM's that meet the below criteria. To sim CM's on a planet: row 1 planets A planets 6 ops are completed Your guild has achieved 3 stars on this planet once before. You guild must currently be 400m GP or higher Ex. once Mustafar's ops are full, the guild is actively over 400M and 3 stars has been achieved previously, Mustafar CM's will now have a sim option clickable. row 2 planets can A planets 6 ops are completed Your guild has achieved 3 stars on this planet once before. You guild must currently be 450m GP or higher row 3 planets A planets 6 ops are completed Your guild has achieved 3 stars on this planet once before. You guild must currently be 500m GP or higher Row's 4-6 can move through this accordingly. If you agree that we need a sim option on ROTE TB Like this post! Also, please reply with any suggestions you may have to improve this game mode. This is just my idea and I believe it is a fair one, but your idea may be better! The recent update weakened the viability and usefulness of the Moff Gideon and Eeth Koth Datacrons, and that is something that literally nobody on the forums was asking for, at least from what I could find. The developers release a brokenly powerful a Datacron for their new Great Mothers that could only be achieved by spending absurd amounts of money, only benefiting those who can spend hundreds of dollars on the game at the drop of a hat, a Datacron that needs super specific team compositions and specific Datacrons to have a chance of defeating, and yet they decide that two Datacrons that far more players can benefit from are over performing. These Datacrons are only good for a maximum of four months and lends a viability for often older and otherwise ignored units but the moment they work better than predicted, they are weakened and essentially rendered useless despite the fact there are easy enough ways to get around them. Instead of rewarding the theory crafting and ingenuity of players making the use of the resources they are given to their maximum potential, they are instead punished for it, potentially even making investments in units that they otherwise wouldn't, especially for Eeth Koth, pointless and frustrating. I call on the developers to reverse the Datacron changes this latest update pushed out, it only hurts players and sheds the company in a negative light, that only those who can pay to win can have nice things instead of giving everybody the equal and fair chance to actually compete. Come on now, CG. Think for a moment about what you're doing and how that affects player QoL. I now have 4 useless Gungan Marquee events cluttering up my Events for two weeks? There are lots of events that don't show up for players who meet the preconditions. Just set the precondition for any returning marquee, "Don't have this toons at relic 8," or maybe even just "Don't have this toon at 7 stars." But even if you insist on running them again, why do they have to be left-shifted? Can't they be on the far right of active events so that I don't have to constantly scroll through them for 2 weeks? This has happened before, and honestly it's getting tiresome. This is basic UI design. This is something that you know is useless to me, yet you're forcing it not only to display, but to take special prominence. I am so tired of this feat. I can't get the stuns without killing the enemy even on t10. The problem with this feat as currently constructed is that the more highly relic'd your characters, the harder the GC is to complete. This, of course, is the opposite of what should be the case. I don't know what the best solution is, though ONE suggestion is to keep t1-t9 exactly the same, but at t10 rewrite the feat as follows: Without any characters defeated, attempt to stun an enemy 15 times. If at the highest tier you're stunning the enemy 15 times and not losing any of your own toons, you've clearly put in the roster work and what's left is the tedium of trying over and over again to get the RNG required for the enemy to survive. This isn't the only possible fix, but it does test for the condition that requires the fix. Alternatively it would be possible to do things like grant damage immunity or 75% damage reduction while stunned, but that's not as direct a test, and it's also not as transferable to other situations (like high gaining stealth a high number of times). This general formula (halving the required # but requiring no lost toons) can be used for any feat that becomes more difficult at high relics. As I've said in other circumstances, when success is removed from the hands of the players, the game suffers. I cannot temporarily remove relic tiers, complete the battle, and then slap them back on. My roster is only 12M, and I shudder to think how other, more powerful rosters handle this situation. The longer the game goes on, the more players are going to find certain feats penalize them for improving their toons. Long ago, most memorably when NS Zombie got her rework, it was publicly stated that it was the intention of the developers never to penalize roster improvement. I was feeling lucky today so I bought some crystals to hopefully get a headstart on Baylan.Ray Stevenson carried the Ahsoka TV series so I wanted to get him on unlock to honor his memory. My advice is unless you have a bunch of money to spend, don't spend on the character packs, and save money for better deals like Light Speed Bundles or other possible deals. It was a mistake on my end for not researching those packs and I would have happily spent on a better deal, but at least I got 29 Shin Hati shards to go for Baylan. Progress is Progress. The Naboo raid is by far the worst raid ever created by this excuse of a money grabbing dev team it is the most RNG raid to date can run the same mods and 1 shot it or take 20+ attempts to max it out. why is there any RNG in the raid at all it is a un timed PVE there is no need for it. if you want RNG like the charged mechanic go ahead and let us bring in op datacrons to balance it out. I've been doing this battle every raid at Relic 5 level since the raid launched and it takes anywhere between 20 minutes and 12 hours of gameplay each time. Anyway here's my point, I love SWGOH but this battle is seriously irritating, I'm actually annoyed at how much of my time is wasted running way too many attempts. Now I understand that the raid is out and its not going to change but in future can we try to make having a fun a priority. High requirements (I'm referring to R8-9 not my own R5) etc fine but let me have fun once I'm there, it's a game after all. I shouldn't want to throw my phone over the horizon after playing. Is the TB Geonosis Fleet battle EVER going to be fixed?!??!
This hasn't been resolved since the launch of ROTE. The fleet battles on the Genonosis node is essentially impossible. I've seen some videos of success with certain teams, but have tried many times to replicate with no success. Do we all just need to get better gaming chairs or is CG going to take notice and... Currently doing the Naboo raid and after dozens of attempts it seems the raid has gotten tougher rather than easier? The enemies seems to be faster and have more health? Ran into this for the first time, not sure if it’s new or not but I’ve not seen it in a year of play. Decided to set my phone down and take care of something while waiting for my GA fight to finish out so I could preload intelligently, only to come back a few minutes later than expected to find that the fight was automatically forfeited. Who in their right mind thought that was a good idea? God forbid I have to step away from the game for longer than 4 minutes. So we have a hacker in Squad Arena and, not in my bracket but in another, Fleet Arena. I do not know if that player/account also hacks in GAC (and yes, there is no way that this player wins with their roster against all the other top teams in any normal way, the units are totally underdeveloped, and so are their mods, and as the roster is below gear 12 let alone relics, so datacrons are not the issue either (top teams have datacrons and relic teams with propper mods). I reported the hacker, over a month ago, but this person/account is still there every day getting top places with a roster which is in no way capable of beating the teams it beats. If you DESTROY an opponents Capitol ship and lose the battle, when attempting the next battle the Capitol ship will spawn again. This should be fixed to where, like all other characters and ships, they stay defeated. After trying to maximize your defense, you don't have many options left for offense and destroying an opponents Capitol ship is a big accomplishment. My opponent went Max D with Prof, Executor, Levi. I destroyed Leviathan. When I went in with clean up crew, I got smashed. Executrix was on Defense which made it frustrating. Leave a comment on what you think should happen. Reply...
