@jamm15 Does Origin think the packs are installed? Please check under Sims 4 > More > Expansion (or Game or Stuff) Packs. And please list the affected packs.
Additionally, in Origin, open Application Settings > Installs & Saves, and let me know what install location Origin is using for games.

The game packs are not installed by the looks of it, i have to re purchase them.
I have basic packs, such as Cats and dogs, city living, cottage living, get to work, a few more i will make a list i also have kits.
Game library location is under users/josh/applications
Legacy game installers is under Library/application Support/Origin/Download cache
What i did notice was there is basically a brand new sims 4 on my origin after my last issue when my origin was telling me to connect to steam. I deleted sims 4 off my steam as told too bevause i dont play it on there. I have attached an image of my new sims

get to work
high school years

Game packs:
Drean home decorator
Kits:
Blooming rooms
Everyday clutter
Green house
Pastel pop
All packs i have brought.
@jamm15 Please go to ea.com, login with the same account as you're using to sign into Origin, open Account Settings > Order History, and see whether you can find the purchases of these packs. If you can, let me know the status of the purchases (Completed/Processing/Failed) as well as whether there are any refunds, partial or complete, listed. They'd be separate entries.

When i go onto order history there is nothing there besides the sims i have when i supposedly re downloaded it on the 24th October, no packs nothing which is very weird. I have two sims on my origin now. The normal one i can play on macbook and then the digital deluxe version which i have to play through steam but obviously cant. The digital deluxe version also says I have 1 pack which is the one i first brought when i played on my parents windows computer when i first played and then switched to mac about 8months later and have had no problem since.
I did have a thought, when i was getting frustrated i tried to delete sims 4 and origin off my macbook to try and reset it, I may have deleted the Sims files instead under electronic arts but i am not sure. do you think this would contribute to why my packs are gone?
I also want to mention that I am 99% sure i do not have any other origin account as well because i have the same email address.
Thank you for everything and your help so far.
One more thing,
after trying to delete sims 4 off my macbook, i tried to remove it from applications.
When i go onto my macbook applications now sims 4 and origin are not on there, does that have something to do with it?

If your order history is showing as blank, and your game library isn't showing your add-ons, then most likely you're logging into Origin with the wrong login details. You need to login to the app with the same details that you originally purchased your content on, and you'll see everything available in your library to download and access again.
I'd recommend checking any emails you have for the email receipt of your purchases so you know which account to login to Origin with.
