    @Regal_Inquiry

    Glad to hear its sorted, are you meaning the client_settings ini ?

    just want to be sure, in case someone else with similar needs to look at this as well.

    *Tip for the future as I take it your using Windows 10, close your game down and right click the speaker icon on your desktop, "Playback Options".. Ensure the device your using Speakers/Headset has the green tick for 'Default'.. sometimes this can revert, if your a person who is always plugging in a headset to your PC.

    Like Miko999, I have no sound out of SWTOR all. It worked fine last night. I tried toggling the sound both using the Ctrl+S shortcut as well as from the preferences. No change. I've reloaded the game, twice. Sound drivers are working just fine with everything else on my computer. Media Player, YouTube, Netflix, etc are all working with sound just fine. It's just SWTOR that has gone mute on me.

    Any suggestions short of taking a hammer to the computer?

    @Desvarzil

    With the game running , minimise and click on the speaker icon on the taskbar and go into the mixer , swtor should be listed with its own slider ensure this isnt down to 0

    The mixer was at 0. I tried adjusting it and still no luck. However, I decided to double check that sound was enabled and found that it was not. Apparently, I did one Ctrl+S too many. Once I re-enabled sound we were back in business.
