Stuck on loading screen
Hi, I'm having trouble getting past the loading screen, just after pressing the Play button.
I tried some steps from previous forum posts, but none of them worked.
*ALT+ENTER
*Direct x9
*Updated drivers
*Modify lines in client_settings file
-FullScreen = false
-D3DFullScreen = false
-RefreshRate = 60
*Delete settings file
*Delete SWTOR - SWTORPerf folders
*Repair and reinstall
This is the first time I've installed it on this new PC.
None of the options have worked for me. Do you know of any other alternatives?
If you have a look at the end of the dxdiag you will see lots of crash reports showing
Bccode 193
Bccode 19e
CbsPackageServicingFailure2
These show something occurring at the system level rather then the game level and show signs of corruption occurring
Bccode 193, 19e can be due to hardware issues or driver issues although nordvpn for example has also known to cause bccode 193 as well, so it doesn't help narrow down the cause
The package failure can be due to corruption in the component store to try and fix that you can open a command prompt as administrator and run the system file checker using
sfc /scannow
it should identify corruption and attempt to fix it
after running the system file checker , run under a clean boot per this guide and see if any change
The system bios appears to be v4.02 and there have been a number of updates released, see https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z690%20Taichi/#BIOS confirm that is your mother board and you can see the latest version is 21.06
