Re: Random Pet not summoning a random pet

I just checked and it is working correctly for me, even after the patch. What exactly are you having a problem with?

Ok so I assume it works like any other skill. You place it in one of your hot bars, click on it, and it should activate summing a random pet. I click, the light comes on in the skill, and nothing. I unlick and try again, nothing. I've logged and re-logged and nothing. So just wondering if I'm doing something wrong

Are you sure that you have a pet unlocked with that character? To check it, open the abilities window ( P) and then click on Pets.

I'll check when I get home just to be sure. The skill is light up like the rest that can be used and not dark. I can click on it and it lights up the actual skill button, so I assume I have that ability lol but i'll double check and let you know, thanks for the help btw

No, what I mean is that the Random Pet button selects a random pet from your pet collection. If you have not collected any pets, it won't do anything because it cannot summon a pet.

The Random Pet button is always lit up, even if you have no pets collected, so don't trust on that.

Glad I could help you! And don't worry, getting pets is not very difficult or expensive. Just go to your GTN, pick the Pet category and you'll find plenty pets for like 30k credits each.

Lol I just thought it would summon a random pet when I clicked on it, which would be beast
